Beautiful Design and Build Quality - Shelby 65 CLACK 2025-02-22 | The Shelby 65 is a shrunken-down Shelby 80. It's gorgeous! The mounting style is the same poron gaskets (a lot of them), but the sound signature is stronger than the TKL. My only wish was that they used a 1.6mm PCB to fill the sound. Overall it feels good to type on, and the sound is good, but I would recommend long pole switches to get the most out of it. Peace! The sound signature is what you can expect from the previous mode releases with the mounting blocks. The Encore is really easy to build and the only issue I have with it is the bottom feet. They do not stay on very well. Something they should address in the future. This was built with a PP plate using the Gateron Deeping (Full Travel). If you haven't tried these switches I highly recommend it. They are expensive but are REALLY nice sounding. Time 65 Sound Test | Fox Labs CLACK 2024-05-23 | This is the Time65, an excellent top-mount keyboard by Fox Labs. It has one of the best bottom designs I've ever seen on a keyboard. The clock on the bottom is so intricate in its detail, and NO it does not actually function as a clock. This keyboard sounds and looks fantastic and feels good while typing. I highly recommend it. You Wont Believe How Easy This Is To Build! Owlab Vento 80 Review CLACK 2024-03-17 | The Owlab Vento 80 is their new TKL after the highly popular Mr. Suit. This, however, is a much different experience and is full of innovation. The Vento utilizes a leaf spring mounting system similar to the Owlab Jelly Evolv. This is by far of one the easiest custom keyboards to build thanks to its unique mechanism to open and close the case, making it super easy to modify without having to use a screwdriver. The typing feel is soft without any foams and stiffens up when you do use the foams. The sound is really nice with and without foam with a 1.6mm pcb. I highly recommend you check this keyboard out. It is quite expensive, but if it's in your budget, it's something to consider if you are in the market for a TKL. The $179 TB8 TKL Is Solid | Sound Test | Tech Bear CLACK 2024-02-25 | The TB8 by Tech Bear is a really great value at $179. The design is simple with a nice RGB strip above the arrow keys and it uses a ball catch system to quickly open and close the keyboard case. Overall I think this keyboard sounds great without foams (using the 1.6mm non-flex pcb), and its a really easy build.
