Me emocionó recordar la historia de ese pueblo que resistió heróicamente contra los romanos durante más de 20 años, y pensé ¿Por qué nadie le ha puesto música a esto? Aquel día decidí que compondría una canción llamada Numancia, o Numantia :) para honrar a este pueblo que luchó hasta el final por su libertad y la supervivencia de su cultura. He intentado que mi composición narre, de alguna manera, los acontecimientos en la guerra contra el imperio Romano.
