Here is a look at the NIOH 3 Origin of the Haunting Caves Sub Mission which you can begin once you have collected the item on the raised stone with the candles on in the Haunting Caves.
Begin the Sub Mission at the Battle Scroll then work your way through the caverns to the lower section after taking the left path pass the Spirit Vein and defeat the Cavern Ascetic Boss.
