Hearts Change [Full MEP] | HBD EnchantedNebula
updated
But but! there's a reason for this x3 I made this as a gift for my girlfriend, @EnchantedNebula , because she hadn't been doing well recently.
Katie, i'd like to once again mention that i'm always here for you and here to support you c: I believe in you, and that it's gonna be okay in some way or another! I hope you enjoy this little gift! ^^
I somehow went with instinct when making this (especially when setting the clips), so i feel like that is what drove me to finish this quickly, without thinking much. It's something between effort and low-effort for me. Moderate-ish/a fair amount of effort, to a point ^^
I wanted to combine these two songs, because a couple months back Katie showed me Alright, and i knew that she likes this song, and i felt like it could be an alright (ksadhasdjk) semi-positive song, but this song also made me think of another one i know by HU, which is Gonna be OK. Thus, i decided to combine the two, so i suppose it's songs that we both like owo
It was a bit hectic to make this tho bc i had to be out today, plus i still need to revise for an exam. But i'm sure that... it'll all be okay in the end ^^ And i'm happy that i was able to finish this, in the end :3
I hope y'all enjoy watching this, too! I'm very sad that i haven't been able to edit all that much recently, but i really do hope that i'll be able to finish some stuff up soon. I definitely feel like i'll be able to post a certain MEP part soon ^^
Thank you all very much for sticking around! c:
I wish you all a good and safe day/night! :3

Welp, i'll start with talking about how making this video went!
The way this all started was from a sudden huge burst of inspiration, after watching some other video edits that just felt OVERWHELMING, but in a good way! Those particular edits had Fever Dreams by Istasha being used in them, but i didn't particularly wanna use the same song, due to wanting to think of my own ideas, where i don't have to think back to my sources of inspiration much.
Eventually i stumbled across this song and rather quickly decided that this is the one i want. Surprisingly, i haven't seen others edit with this song often.
As for who i wanted to use? I was getting a recent resurgence of love for YGO, and i felt like Bakura fit the dark sound of this song quite well. I was able to gather together my desired clips fast enough, and then i already started fiddling around. I finished the first 3 seconds during the first night, and despite my worries about not having much of a feeling for some creative things now, i managed to start getting into some kind of zone while editing.
Stuff really took off the next day - during one of my distanced lectures, i think, or before one dkjsahads
In that same hour, felt like in the same breath and excitement, I placed down nearly all of my clips, and started spitting out effects and experimenting with them. That includes starting to make a mask for the part at 0:06, and i belieeeve, essentially finishing the part from 0:08 - 0:11. I allowed excitement and instinct to guide me, and i was, in my opinion, able to create some funky and creative effects as a result. I was especially yelping from excitement when making the black halftone text in the background of 0:10, as that was looking so cool lol :D
I had a similar experience when making the ''watch me'' part.
My idea with the clips and the text that goes along with it was to create a flow between the clips themselves, and matching the clips to the lyrics.
However, i did still have some trial and error for the fun i had. I took some time with the second clip in the chorus due to trying to figure out how to do an ''ink sketch glitch'' on it while still retaining movement.
And frankly, what i mentioned before happened way back in September. I ended up getting less time and energy to work on creative projects or that much outside of uni stuff, until at some point, this project, along with others, started feeling ''intimidating'' to go back to bc i wasn't sure if i'd be able to do that same level of creativity or flow. In general i was worried that i was losing my feeling with things like this.
However, gradually, i came back to this project about a week or some days ago, and i figured out that... for me, at least, not thinking and just doing things, is a good way to get into the zone. And that i don't need to worry about any editing or composition ''rules'' bc good things could just come out naturally as i make things, and look back at them.
That was when i made the outro and finished the middle part of the first loop, and eventually did the second loop. When working on the second loop and replacing the text, also, i unfortunately had quite a bit of keyframes to work with. I had to retype and re-find fonts, bc i had so many frames where the style of the text changes. But i was able to do it eventually!
When doing the outro, i had forgotten that i added my watermark at the start already, but i had already finished making the text and i didn't really want to go back and change the keyframes again. So i figured it'd be alright to keep it.
And watching this back i also understood that no matter how worried i may feel sometimes, i definitely still got it in terms of editing knowledge and skills c: And i really wish to continue working on my projects and creating in general!
About a slightly different topic, i didn't end up getting into the place where i wanted to get into, so i'm currently going to a different uni. I'm currently not doing something i'm extremely interested in... but i hope that someday, sometime, things will align again, and make sense. And that in one way or another, i'll be able to continue improving my art.
Well then, i hope y'all enjoy this viddie!
Thank you once more for sticking around and watching my things, i sincerely appreciate it, and i'm glad to share my work with all of you ❤️
I wish you all a good and safe day/night! c:

Most parts are done for the studio BlueBlurEuphoria uwu
This dump doesn't include my Bad Things part, as i had posted that separately!
These are added in order of creation, no text obscuring the parts either, so i will add timestamps/chapters for which part is which, along with a full MEP link ^^
I'll add a couple of comments too!
(most parts until about halfway into the video) - perhaps some people found this out on their own, but i was the ''anonymous'' user for the first couple of BBE's MEPs ^^
I used this opportunity as being anonymous to experiment with styles and effects that i would never use otherwise, or which would seem really simple. Basically i wanted to try a completely unrecognizable style for myself for fun and also so, well, it wouldn't be really understandable that it's me lol
Except for when it came to the Fighter MEP. I made multiple parts there and i wanted to give people a little surprise if they found out that the same person made all of those parts :D XD Eventually tho, i stopped trying to hide my regular style.
The first time i was credited with my username in the MEPs was during the Blackout MEP! I love that one so much, still, the part was so fun to do x3
I don't have any particular comments on parts before that, so ye.
- Blackout -
I was SO excited to start this one!!! XD I had started looking for fonts and thinking of a few ideas maybe uuuhhh- well, a very good while in advance XD I absolutely knew i wanted to use this part, bc it was my fave in the song owo
- Everything Black -
Originally wanted to upload this separately, but never did- XD
I ran out of inspo for fx editing ideas while making this, but despite that, it was still very fun to make! ^^
- Legendary -
Quite a low effort part for me. But i'm still happy with the result! This was my first attempt at using Element 3D in AE again after multiple years bc i finally got it working again ^^
- Lionhearted -
I'm happy that my girlfriend and i decided to collab for this part! ❤️
Her setting the lyrical clips helped me out a ton bc i didn't feel up for setting clips, myself. Elsewise it was very fun to work on everything else, i got quite into it :o I got to play around with negative streaks and vhs effects again, which was fun :D x3
a couple others i also commented about on my Insta.
So yes, here's the timestamps, then :o
i really hope that y'all enjoy this little compilation ^w^:

To Mia:
A very happy birthday to you, Mia!~ i wish you happiness and peace, and plenty of quality time with your loved ones! You're a very kind, grounded, and hard-working person! It's a joy to talk to you! The fanfic i've been slowly reading of yours is really charming and well-written, and i'd like to once again compliment your immersive writing, it's wonderful that you can get really into what you're writing, and end up writing something that has a lot of personality to it that lots of other readers love!! :3
Perhaps you might remember that a year back, i had told you about how i had been making a dedication video for you, and it was taking me a long time to finish and i wasn't able to finish it in time for your birthday, and you told me that even if it took me a year to finish it, you'd still love it? Well well, look what took me a year to finally finish ;w; x3 I wanted to use characters who are very dear to you, and i kept some of the character ideas i had from last year too - in general i ended up using Nagito, Hajime, Khun, Bam, Wei, and i tried to use Lan as well ^^ In terms of the song choice, i no longer remember how i found this song, but from the sound of it, i found myself wondering if perhaps you'd like this kind of song, so i decided to use it :3 I tried to make the clips fit the lyrics a little, and i thought about using Lan more in the second half of the chorus, but i thought that perhaps Wei could fit the ''hypnotized'' lyric a little better, so, there he is- owo
I'd like to apologize for my absence this year, but i'm happy that we can continue to grow closer, still ❤️ I hope that you enjoy this video!
About the video:
Granted, for a very long time, i didn't have ideas for this video in general, my brain didn't wanna,,, set clips ;w; but once i got past that, and even during that process, i started to get into the flow more, and then editing this felt easier :3
It was very fun to work with the colors of this, i loved seeing the tones that the purple streaks created underneath the vhs effect :3 It was also just as fun to slowly, slowly get more comfortable with Element 3D when making this x3 In general this was fun to make once i got into it, during/after setting clips ^w^
hmmm that's the main of what i wanted to say here! owo i hope y'all enjoy this~ c:

Song: AViVA - HYPNOTIZED
Programs: Vegas Pro 18, After Effects CC 2021
Layers: 28
Media: Danganronpa 2.5, Tower of God, Mo Dao Zu Shi
Time taken: 4-5 days (that i actively worked on this)
Currently playing MGS2 and it's definitely one of my favorites right now!
I had decided on finding some edit audio that someone else has already made, to make it easier for myself. I found this one through a compilation on YouTube, and at one point it was between this song and an edited audio of Art Gang Money. I had decided on this one, as the latter felt a bit too badass, but this game feels like it's more dark, mysterious, and has moments that feel like it's hinting towards an identity crisis. This song is also very dark and sad, so it captured the vibe of what i imagine Raiden to be feeling at points, or maybe how i see the game at points.
I had thought about replacing this song with an instrumental version, but i realized that that would take some more effort on my part to sync it to what i already had and slow it down just enough. So i decided to keep editing with this audio.
I decided quite early on that i wanted to use AE for this one. I wanted to befriend the program again (even if 1-2 months ago i needed to use it on a daily basis, basically), and i wanted to muster up the patience to watch some glitch tutorials that felt helpful to me.
It took a bit of effort to start working with the program again, but i got the hang of it again quick enough. As i was listening to the song, i knew i wanted to work with melty transitions and fades to black, and shape transitions. So i followed my ideas but deviated when i saw fit, and actually, this result ended up being better/more interesting than what i had in mind.
I really got into it and it was fun trying to think of ways to make the shape transition work. Took me about one day (the same day that i started this project on) to finish setting the clips and finish the part from 0:09-0:13 and the overlay in the bg and zoom out at 0:14. The rest I did and finished the next morning.
I also wanted to add some slightly cryptic text, like something that could describe the mission that Raiden has been put on. And in general i wanted the clips and the idea of this to ''pull on the heartstrings'' just a little bit.
Ah, and i added one short bit/transcript of a codec call from the game in the intro.
And then when i looped the edit, i wanted to try out an effect called ''posterize time''.
Ah and while making this, i learned about some tools/a plugin called ''EZ tools'', and so i downloaded that one and tried to get the hang of using it, and it was rather useful for some areas~
Had one small issue after rendering twice. This was the first render that succeeded, however, during the loop, there is a section that ''glitches'' into one of the clips of Raiden (it's just a static image of him entering the room) and that is not supposed to be there. This same image appears at the veeery end of this video too, which also isn't supposed to be there, but it's rather amusing lol
i tried to render a higher quality version and wanted to see if that could fix it, but no, that made it worse. In that render, the beginning also had weird glitches like this with other clips, but i didn't want to make the render any worse than this and i didn't want to render again. So here's this slightly lower quality, but comparably less glitchy render.
The render time itself wasn't bad. From what i recall it could have been like 22 minutes.
Overall I'm very happy with the result of this edit. Though i feel like the composition could have been better at points, it was really fun to make, so i think that, alone, is good enough too.
Oh oh right! and as for MGS2, waahh i really like this game! it's the next game i'm playing after MGR, and it's really interesting to see how Raiden once was. I find it very interesting to think to myself what exactly could have caused him to slowly develop into who he became in MGR. Well, one thing is that he hadn't lost his human body in this game yet, i think.
I'm really enjoying my experience with the game, and while it's hard to not get spoiled for it, this game iiisss 11 years old, so that is to be excepted.
Not too far into the game yet, but that's okay.
That is all i wanted to say! i really hope that y'all enjoy this, and have a very good day/night! ^^

iiit's been a while since my last visualization ^^
Not the slowest version of this song out there, but i dunno - i liked this particular version after slowing it down like this, and i felt like it could do just fine ^^
Originally thought about using a different song after thinking of using this one. Purely for the lyrics and stuff, as these lyrics are... sure something. But i figured, no, i don't feel as much inspiration for other songs right now, and plus, this is one of my favorite songs right now, so i went with it.
This idea came to me yesterday, sometime after i started feeling inspo for this song that was different from my usual ''make an edit''. Somehow i got inspo for a very short one-shot about Wei Wuxian, and then later Raiden from MGR inspired by this song. But i wasn't sure about this, as i wouldn't want to make myself anxious when basing something off these lyrics. I might still try to write smth up sometime tho.
And then the second idea was this here visualization ^^
Making this was kind of a ''learning experience'' in terms of how i see the song ^^ it was like, i added the colors, i added some of the fonts/text, and i started thinking ''oh i know another thing that could fit this song's sound!"' and on it went ^^
Actually, when i found the gothic font that i used here, again, i ended up making that particular text a little bit inspired by Slayyyter's album covers ^^ plus i believe that this kind of look could be another nice addition to the sound of this song.
My inspo for making this lasted until 2:05 in this video, but oh well. It was still fun to work on this, even if my inspiration/motivation took a tumble after that.
I had fun working with the chroma keying clips, and trying to achieve the different colors and vibes ^^ I feel like i'm happiest with the section from 1:27 - 1:39, the different textures (that are created from clips for the most part) and the clips create quite a nice vibe there ^^ Plus those particular lyrics make me think of that particular animation, more or less.
I believe that is the main of what i wanted to say.
i hope that y'all enjoy this, and i wish you a good day/night!

Once more, happy anniversary, my dear!! x33 ❤️❤️
I feel thankful and blessed to have met u, you're extremely important and dear to me, and you mean the world to me cx I still remember how happy and free i felt when i told you about how i had been feeling and when we started our relationship those 5 years ago - i was so excited to explore a new part of myself and do it together with you! And i'm thankful that our relationship could continue to bloom over these years :3 u still continue to bring me peace and happiness to my heart, and i truly hope and wish that we stay together and by each other's side for many more years to come x33 There have been easier times, harder times, but we've helped each other through them, and we have continued to grow together! We have grown as people, we have learned new things both about each other and the things around us, and i hope that we can continue our journey together for a long time to come ❤️
I hope this day will be lovely for the both of us, and I love you very, very much!!! cx ❤️❤️❤️
I'm happy that you love this viddie, and i'm happy that you love how i used our fave characters kjsdahsaj x3
About the video!~ :o
I had decided on this song way back in March i think! :3 i heard it and i loved how passionate and full of adoration the lyrics are, and perhaps there might be multiple ways to interpret this song? But i choose the lyrics that i've written in this video to be the ones that i want to focus on the most ^^ And plus, i feel like this song could basically be about these past 5 years here :3
And it took me quite a bit to decide what media i wanted! i only decided in late May or sometime in June i think owo'' i evidently decided to use both characters that we like (specifically, ones that we have been talking about often this past year), and couples that we could be like, so basically this one big mix of media! uwu not entirely sure how i'll be able to top this now in terms of media originality in any future gifties, but i'm sure i'll be able to think of something x3
I suppose i put the most effort in to the clip selection here! :o I also divided this video into ''sections'' based on their clips and theme, which i shall leave below - i'll also leave a lil' list of our characters, too x3
I kept the coloring rather simple, i kinda wanted to combine our fave colors with this coloring x3
I was quite busy and tense for a while so i wasn't feeling able to sit down and continue editing this for a while BUT when i got free time between exams, and after stuffs yesterday too, one of the things i focused on was continuing this x3 Unfortunately yesterday i was really tired, so i tried my best to finish this up until late last night, but i still ended up tweaking it a little this morning, and then i felt happy with how it looked :3
I do feel like i'm mostly happy with how the clips look and the ''trust'' text looks :3
I think that's all i can think of in terms of what to say right now, so yes - below y'all will see the lists :3 I hope y'all enjoy this video and have a great day/night! x3
~
Characters we like:
Katie: Eggman, Robotnik (from the Sonic movie), Luigi, Willy Wonka, Nefarious
Me: Xiao, Albedo, Sebastian, Raiden (from Metal Gear Rising)
Cute couples that we could be like: Beidou and Ningguang, Aki and Sherry, Kase and Yamada, Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji, Xie Lian and Hua Cheng, Silver and Blaze
And here are the ''sections'' of this video uwu:
0:00 - 0:12 characters we like
0:12 - 0:17 brief section with couples that we could be like
0:17 - 0:23 characters we like
0:23 - 0:43 couples that we could be like
and my designated ''sub-sections''- XD:
0:01 - 0:05 - ''the Mustache men section''
0:17 - 0:22 - ''the section of (slightly) evil characters that we like, a.k.a. the Robot men section''

The theme is that we could choose a comfort character - a character we heavily relate to or have a strong bond with, and when i heard this particular part, i was immediately captivated and knew that i wanted to use Wei Wuxian! ^^ And in fact, this song captivated me, in general!
I got vivid scenes in my head for the clips for 0:08 - 0:12, and that section, plus one extra clip, looks exactly the way i hoped it would!
It was really fun setting these clips and editing this in general, i really got into it!
It's quite nice when i actually have this much fun making a MEP part, and when i feel enough inspo.
I loved seeing how the clips came together. The clip i placed at 0:06 ended up being basically accidental, bc i just found that part while skimming through the episode that i had opened, and i went ''whoaaa that looks nice'' and then i decided to cut the clip and place it closer to the timeline for the heck of it, and decided to place it before on of the clips that i had already set. I was pleasantly surprised to see how well it flowed and how the motions flowed to the music ^^
I finished setting all of the clips in one night. I believe i did so in about an hour, a little more than that. Recently I haven't been too sure in my own abilities of placing good clips due to losing inspo to place good ones or being too lazy, but making this reaffirmed to me that when i put in effort and when i have inspo, things just come together!
It's just that i tend to sometimes struggle with remembering what clip was from what episode or what cutscene, so thus starts my urge to put less effort into clips. In this one tho, i spent about maybe 15 minutes searching for the clip at 0:10, and i wasn't able to find it, but then i ended up Accidentally stumbling across it while i was scrubbing through an episode that i had opened, and i was like, ''there it is!"'.
Decided to keep the effects simple to put more attention towards the clip selection, but i still wanted the effects to compliment these clips.
Not too many new things done here for me. I used two different fonts in the same piece of text, and i diagonally split some text at one point. Wanted to use more bass shakes at first but they turned out to be a bit chaotic and didn't really suit the vibe of what i had been creating so far, so i only used one at the start.
I found myself thinking about Wei's character development while making this.
How he took so many years in MDZS to develop into the man he becomes, and how he lost his innocence and had to witness so many deaths and losses. Plus (for a while) turning on those who had grown to trust and love him. I decided to focus on Wei's relationship with his inner grief and relationship with Lan in this part! Mostly base the clips off the lyrics, general flow, and this tiny amount of lore and ideas that i had.
(Can i just mention how i noticed how his character development is similar to the kind of development that Judai Yuki goes through in Yugioh GX? In terms of what he goes through and what he has to suffer through and learn. Except Judai had this development in a significantly shorter time in the story)
Overall i'm very happy with this result! There are some little things that i think could have been a bit more creative, but for the vibe that this is giving off, i think it's a good part ^^
I believe that's all i wanted to say!
I have a little thingy which i should hopefully be done with very soon, and then also post :3
I hope y'all enjoy this! :o

Song: I Prevail - Bad Things (slowed)
Program: Vegas Pro 18
Layers: 18
Media / character: Mo Dao Zu Shi / Wei Wuxian
Time taken: ~5 hours
I've been working on this one on and off since April, and i feel like this is one of my 2007-ish styled edits that i'm quite proud of :3 One of the things that i was looking forward to finishing!
This started after i had found this song and it quickly became my favorite for a while! Just as soon, i noticed that, while looping the song, i got very vivid visions of what a pixelated, 2007-styled edit of this could look like. My idea of the first clip was especially vivid, and i knew that i wanted this edit to have a moving border. Pretty sure i also had background animations that look like this in my mind from the start, as well.
I decided to use Mo Dao Zu Shi bc it's my usual media to go to with videos like this, and Idolish7 bc of the art style and the graceful, detailed animations in one of the music videos, which fit the sound of the chorus imo :3 I tried to make the clips fit the tone of the lyrics too!
In the first evening i did, if not most of the first section, then at the very least finished the Wei clip at the start. I got really into making this, and everything was quickly shaping up to look great.
In addition, i decided to make the lyrics gay- owo XD
Oh, and i believe deciding on a coloring/color palette that i wanted for this also happened quite quickly! ^^
There were some clips that i hadn't set until quite a while later, and there were parts that i immediately knew i wanted to work on. Eventually i decided to create 3 original sections and then the last one would be the first one mostly playing in reverse (the clips themselves, that is) with some added effects. Both so i could maintain my level of motivation and ideas, and so it could be a callback to the start of the edit ^^
I really enjoyed adding text to this one too! It was fun to use all sorts of fonts for this, and i decided to make the text in the style of old lyric videos from 2011 or so :3 with the classic lil', ''feathery glow'' and duo colors at points :D
As a result i also re-found an old font that i remember from waaayy back in the day bc at one point i had a particular idea of using a font that has text with hearts in it. I stumbled across the font ''Kinkee'', which fit perfectly for the feel that i was going for :3
It was extremely fun to visualize this song, i feel like my ideas worked out p much exactly the same or even better than what i had in mind uwu
When I reversed and looped the twixtored motion of Wei at the start and it looked exactly how i hoped it would, i knew i had something good on my hands x3 In fact! That section has gotta be my fave part of this edit, i figured that its vibe is quite fitting for how i see the sound of that lyric, so i went ahead and used it a couple more times, and also to create some extra consistency in this edit :3
Likewise it was also fun to return to this edit after having to focus on conventionally pretty editing and video editing theory for a while. I could still do this style, but i noticed small little details that i could explain with both an emotional and a logical lens, such as creating a ''circle/repeating composition'' in this video by repeating the section that plays at the start, at the end as well :3
When i finished editing, there was an inexplicable empty layer titled ''give it to me ❤️'' (but with the emoticon) and i think i might have written that months back in the hopes that i'd put something related to that lyric there, but yea. It was, rather amusing to see it empty bc i thought the name implied that it had something important in it- owo XD
About the thumbnail - i decided to try out combining the style that i had decided on for these kinds of edits, with the new kind of thumbnail style i'd like to continue trying out now :3
So yes, this description ended up being rather detailed ^w^
i really hope that y'all enjoy this, and i wish you all a very good day/night! c:

I believe i had really liked this song at the time (i still do!), and I believe this was a project that just suddenly *started.* I had very vivid visions of how i see this song, and i wanted to visualize this part in particular. It seems like i finished this very quickly, too!
I tried out using ''BCC time displacement'' for the first time in this edit, and i felt like it added quite a nice touch to everything! I had seen this effect being used in some insta edits and i had been wanting to give it a try, myself, and this is when i finally did ^^
It felt very nice to edit with hxh again and it was a very comfortable experience and feeling for me! ^w^
This rendered in a bit over 20 minutes, but it's definitely still alright, and it's also understandable given the amount of heavy effects i added ^^
- In regards to how i feel about this edit now, i certainly still like it, it has quite a chaotic feel to it! Watching this back and mentally comparing it to my current ''2007-ish'' style that i like to do sometimes, i can certainly see what i've changed this year in terms of this style ^^ More cohesively sticking to a pixelated and old internet style, than being completely chaotic with *text* in particular! Maybe this kind of style was also a ''product of its time'' last year, for me ^^ but at the same time, there could be just subtle differences between the current style that i dabble in sometimes, and this one ^^
I quite like my clip selection here as well, it goes well with the lyrics and the sound of the song, i feel :3
I made this thumbnail last year too! (which... sadly, by this point, no longer particularly works, due to this being in the resolution of what is generally considered a ''short'' nowadays :( )
i belieeeve that is the main of what i wanted to say!
i hope you enjoy, and i wish you all a good and safe day/night! c:

Let's hope this nearly 400 mb large render of this edit will somehow survive past Youtube's compression ;w;
So yesterday, i was hit with some SUDDEN inspo to edit with Metal Gear Rising!
Recently i've been playing this game and i love it quite a lot! it might become one of the first games in a while that i actually *finish* :o
This is also my first Metal Gear game. I've attempted to dabble in, I think, MGS: The Twin Snakes before, but i somehow couldn't get far into it?
Anyways! I quickly knew that i wanted to use this song, as it's one of my favorites right now, and plus, i feel like this song fits this game and Raiden a bit! Although i'm not very familiar with his backstory from MGS4 much... I think it might fit his vibe in this game in particular.
I also originally wanted to use some gameplay footage that i've recorded, but then decided not to.
As i was editing this, i didn't fully understand what i wanted beyond a couple clip placements and for there to be something to mimic an ''echoy'' effect.
I proceeded to experiment with creating somewhat of an ominous vibe to this edit, just tossing effects and text around to see what could stick. I didn't want this video to be boring or too similar to what i've made before, but perhaps the result is a bit too overloaded.
I wasn't entirely happy with some of my effects but i decided to just keep editing and see what happens, make something bc i wanna make something!
I started experimenting further by overlaying typing text, ''echoing'' text in different areas of the screen, adding about two masks, adding a moving black bar, adding a ''shard'' of text that is spinning slowly in a 3d space... there's just a whole bunch of everything, i'm not sure if there's much consistency. But maybe sometimes work doesn't have to be completely clean!
I think i mostly felt like what i was making was getting interesting when i made the duplicating ''grace'' text and the ''like'' text.
This video isn't very orderly compared to what i usually make, regardless, but at the very least it was an interesting experience making it, and i'm happy that i could edit with this media! ^^
I started to put a little extra effort towards the end. And i decided to get even more funky. I added some cinematic sound effects! Perhaps they are a bit out of place in this video, but i do like the result of the one at 0:15.
In addition to that, to add to the feeling that the sound effects were creating, i added a little voice clip of Raiden. With some added reverb.
Uuuhh rendering didn't take too long! No issues with it either. But then i had to render this higher quality version bc i saw that my previous upload of this looked very low quality ^^''
I tried smth new with this thumbnail too! Might continue experimenting with stuff like this - stuff with a border around it and whatnot, and maybe some stuff with more font diversity!
Jeeeezy me, and I've graduated my art school now!
This last year was veeery rough. I was struggling with both my physical and mental health on and off, and during the second semester i just ended up blanking out, barely being able to focus, remember some things from school, or even start work. However, despite all of the troubles, everything ended very good, and the days leading up to my graduation kept getting better.
And despite the stress this school has caused me, i loved being there ^^
We'll see where things will take me next and we'll see if i'll be able to get into the place where i wanna go.
That shall be all for now!
I hope y'all enjoy this, and also have a very good and safe day/night! ❤️

Editing with only the pre-installed fx/no plugins!
My inspo for this project didn't originally start like this. At first, this project didn't begin life like this at all.
This started when i started listening to more of this remix again while doing school work and realized that i'm getting r&c edit idea visions in my head while listening to the second verse!! it felt very inspiring to me.
So eventually i started this project as simply a nostalgia project, in remembrance to an old r&c that may or may not have existed back in the day with this song.
But then i lost the inspo to edit with that project. I think i only placed audio and then i left it sitting there, and deleted it eventually.
However, after my girlfriend suggested this, i felt like i could revive this project and feel more inspo for it under a theme!
And that worked! i didn't continue this project for some time, i didn't have many clip ideas at some points or i was too lazy to go find the clips i have in mind, but stuff was moving forward!
i realized that it's still rather possible to make the effects i wanna make without any plugins, and replicate my regular style that way ^^ the only thing is that the motion blur kinda, looks a bit funky. but oh well.
to make things a bit more interesting for myself i also tried a couple new things like did an extending line effect alongside some text and used the multiply (mask) blend mode to achieve a duplicated/displaced version of the clip beneath, in some text ^^
Took a little bit of effort to remind myself what was a plugin and what wasn't! owo bc i still haaad all of my plugins while making this - just simply wasn't using them owo
overall i quite like the result of this, i believe it was also fun to make in general, even with the changing ideas!
This was also one of the last projects i did before i just started feeling bored and getting a distaste for editing like this often.
Small specification - while this is Hold Your Colour, it's the Extended Bipolar Mix.
So then, i hope y'all enjoy this, and i wish you all a good day/night! ^^ :3

I started this a day after i finished the "rebellion" edit, as i felt so much inspiration and love for this style, and i loved this song too! :D i quickly knew that i wanted to use this it uwu
i realized that when it comes to this kind of style, i just like going with whatever kind of media i wanna go with, it doesn't even have to make sense based on the song choice. I especially love using mdzs for these kinds of edits :3
and interestingly enough my fave part is actually the part with the screaming, even tho i'm not fond of screaming so much in songs anymore :o
i felt like i wanted to go for a flashy aesthetic here, using lots of fonts and text/movement styles that feel old and which i remember from back in the day ^^
i also wanted this edit to give off a scenecore aesthetic, so i decided to add some textures that i think compliment the edit itself ^^
about halfway through this project i came back to it maybe two days later, and i feel like taking that little break from editing in this style somehow took away my mindset to edit exactly like this again, so at one point it felt kinda tough to replicate my previous aesthetic and motions. in fact i had to review and re-render this video Several times because of things i kept wanting to change.
Something was really off with the flow and speed at one point. The second half started feeling randomly too fast or too slow, all in the same section, and it didn't feel like it was building up or reflecting the vibe/sound that i want.
i started looking at this aspect a bit more critically then.
i was fixing multiple parts, coming back to them, tweaking them, and then rendering, spotting that something doesn't feel right or is too pixelated, and fixing again. In fact, the entire ending section before the outro was WAAAYYY calmed down in this version that you see here. It was extremely flashy and fast at first. I started to get some issues with even watching the video with how different the pace was and especially that ending. I started to get headpain and that's when i understood that this will still need a lot of work. bc headpain is certainly not something i want to induce with these kinds of edits - i simply want them to be chaotic.
After maybe, 5 or more renders? this was finally finished and it felt okay to watch too.
I definitely feel happy with the result now tho! I'm very happy that i could finish this ^^
I used Mo Dao Zu Shi and Black Butler for this edit bc those are both series that i was really vibing with and still am atm uwu
A little fact is that i added the face at 0:17 bc that was actually me at vegas at that point, bc either it kept freezing or crashing and i had to reopen this project a couple times so the first thing i did at one point after opening the project was just add that face, and it also fits the sound of the lyric, so that's cool- XD
And to divide these 2007-ish styled edits from my regular ones, i have chosen to name them, usually, in all lowercase, and then some extremely excited marks, such as loads of exclamation marks, or a little ''~'', a space between said mark and the words, and maaaybe an emoticon at the end ^^
and i might make the thumbnails of these videos look similar to what you're seeing here on this video and the ''rebellion'' video! so it could be clear-ish that these videos are different from what i usually make ^^
hmmm i believe that's all i wanted to say!~
i really hope y'all enjoy this! :o

finished on: April 14th
I recently finished this edit which i started waay back in October of last year, if i recall!
It was a very random idea i got during a lesson. I was listening to this song and got sudden, vivid visions of a Scaramouche edit with this song and flashing/glowing eyes, and i just suddenly opened Vegas and slapped down this audio and added some markers with ideas, but then proceeded to not come back to this video quiiitee a long time. It stayed like that for a while until uuuhhh owo I think it was earlier this year or late last year when i returned to this project and- okay i actually think i got so in the zone that i blanked out, but i ended up placing a whole bunch of clips and effects, and evidently hyperfocused on working on this for an evening! Had some trouble stopping to take a break at points, but i eventually managed ^^''
My main idea was to include flashes between masks and ''glowing eyes'', and make the clips fit the vibe and lyrics!
one thing i decided to be rather ambitious with because i Don't Like doing them usually were masks, as per usual. I was determined to make my idea work, and it did! I was happy with how the masks came out, but if you look too hard... they do look kinda rough, still- ;w;
I loved making the text for this! my ideas for those basically turned out exactly as i hoped.
I also wanted to make some animations, but laziness hit me, but i figured, hey, it's really easy to animate with wallpaper engine, and thus, i used that, and screenrecorded my animations :o
Evidently the hardest part here was simply continuing this project aaafter i finished about half of it some months prior. Came back to it earlier this month and finally finished it and tweaked it a bit!
Feeling quite proud of/happy with this one as a result. Gives off a bit of a sly/superiority(????) vibe, which i think fits Scara.
I made the thumbnail in Vegas this time around bc i didn't feel like opening ps, ah yes- kjsdhsdja owo
sooo, i hope y'all enjoy this video!~ :3

For me, it was this chaotic mess. Complete disregard for what is aesthetically pleasing, and it was something of a rebellion of mine against what i have learned over the years about what is considered to be good in a video. I got so sick of trying to make things look pretty, i got so tired of my editing style that i just didn't like it anymore or didn't have much fun editing anymore. Plus i was feeling really overwhelmed by my workload at the time and how i literally don't have a single bit of motivation to get started on it. I suppose all of that combined itself into this video.
And the song i decided to use was this one - i had heard it earlier that day and i wasn't sure if i really liked it, mostly bc of the lyrics, but in this moment, this song and its sound felt like exactly what i was looking for. And so, as i was editing, i grew to really like this song!
however this was also the beginning of when i understood that i loved editing in this style! i refined it with time, and now it's still something i like coming back to, but yes ^^ i felt like this style was something completely fresh and different, and it was definitely fun to work on this ^^
So far i've finished 3 projects in this style, and with each one i've refined the look of this style to something more cohesive but still a part of, what i like to call, this ''2007-ish'' style.
This is the first of these, so it's the least understandable. In fact i feel like this edit might look better on smaller screens than it would on big screens.
In any case i definitely tried some new things in this video, like using the pan/crop tool instead of s_blurmocurves (i sometimes mixed the two as well), or using s_timeslice. Plus using preset transitions that i normally wouldn't use!
I wrote most of the text very quickly with disregard for proper spelling, and at points i made the text fit the "emo/scene" aesthetic. I picked my fonts at random.
I used Mo Dao Zu Shi bc it was the first media to pop into my head/the one that inspired me the most, i feel like it's quite easy to edit with, too ^^
i left a little surprise inside joke between me and my best friend in this video, as we were on a discord call when i was making this- XDD It's a little Changbin from Stray Kids, i feel like y'all might be able to find him- XD
i like to think that maybe this style is like, a continuation of what i started last year with the highly saturated, broken style, except this style is even more 2000s and pixelated, no added cuteness mostly, just 2000s aesthetic and text, and also it's generally more de-saturated than saturated ^^
I feel like i should have some more time to post now and also make stuff more frequently. and i really want to, as well!
sadly this school year went rather rough for me on an emotional/physical level, but in general things have gotten better by now, i feel.
have some little things i've made during this time that i will also be uploading/making public with time ^^
i suppose that's all i wanted to say!
i hope y'all enjoy this very chaotic and random experimental video ^^
I wish you all a good day/night!

Made on: April 9th/10th (finished/rendered past midnight, already on the 10th)
This is an audio that i made in mid-late February, and i made this visualization earlier this month.
The inspo to make a couple edit audio/mashup versions of this song (not just this version) spawned from me waking up one morning for school and this song playing in my head.
The inspo to use Xiao for this visualization came from seeing a super lovely edit of this song and Xiao that someone made on insta ^^ Sadly i don't have the link to it atm, but if i'll find it again, i'll add it.
Headphones are recommended for this one as the audio is different in each channel. Slightly offset.
iii made this audio in Vegas, too.
Other versions included two shorter edit audio versions, one that wasn't dual audio, simply had some effects, and then a dual audio one. Then i made this dual audio, and then a ''mashup''/''mix'' of the audio here without the channel separation. I felt like this one was basically my favorite.
A bit chaotic at points, but oh well.
Sadly i'm at home sick for a week again, so again, i'll use this time to catch up on things.
i hope y'all enjoy this!

this is something i slapped together as a form of procrastinating doing my hw.
it started as a spontaneous idea that excited me, both bc it would be smth i'd make without much thought, and plus i'd use a song by Stray Kids, and i haven't used any of their songs before in my edits i think. I think this song is cool ^^
This isn't my first MDZS edit, i have a couple more that i started before this, but this one is the first that i finished.
Making this was a bit interesting i guess. i set the clips in vegas, but i ended up basically hating twixtor in vegas due to it not cooperating with me much, so i exported this project, opened it in adobe premiere, then saved and opened That project in ae, and i continued it a bit there- XD i not only added twixtor, but also some of the effects from 0:04 - 0:07. then i started to feel like editing in ae is tedious, so i rendered what i had and plopped it back into vegas, and finished it there ^^''
I didn't intend for this video to be super creative or original either. i even reused my coloring from my jjk ''pumpkins scream'' edit from last year. i simply wanted to make something. and in general, every now and then editing has been starting to feel like a chore, or i start a project and can't finish it, so every now and then i adapt the mindset of ''it doesn't have to be good, i just want to make something''.
i feel like the visibility of this video might be questionable, but i'm not gonna worry myself about that. i originally intended to only upload this on my insta account bc my idea for this video could be fitting for that, but ultimately i decided to upload it here too.
I simply wish this video wasn't automatically converted to a short.
I started watching MDZS earlier this month and i love it so far! i continued watching and watched 15 episodes, including all of season 2 yesterday and the amount of feels surprised me. I've only seen 1 episode of season 3 so far but i'm really enjoying that season so far too.
I really like some of the characters in this donghua ^^ and i love the animation!!! it's consistently so good ^^ My fave character here is Wei Wuxian, and i mostly used him in this edit too, along with one clip of Lan Wangji ^^
I'm very sorry about my inactivity and i'm very sorry to those who i haven't been replying to as of recent weeks. i have been completely out of it for multiple reasons, and sadly it's been hard for me to jump back into a convo. i really hope to return to things soon.
I hope that y'all enjoy this, and i wish you all a good and safe day/night.

Apologies, but i've realized that i simply won't be able to post extremely often for the time being. Things are quite busy for me and it comes down to whether or not i have the time or motivation to make/post something. I will be posting when i want to.
I have one more edit in my drafts that i could make public quite soon too, maybe even later today.
Anywho! I want to wish you all a (late) happy new year!
I hope this year will be able to bring some peace and clarity to us. Perhaps things might start to slowly improve this year.
Personally i have some ideas i'd like to work on later this year, quite excited about those ^^ Some of them will likely be coming in summer, when i have more time ;3
At the moment i'm just trying to get through things.
My idea for this edit started i think a day after, or the same day i first found this song. I quickly started to like it! So another Cryoshell song that was an immediate ''yES'' to me :D
My first thought was that this song could fit Xiao! The lyrics remind me a lot of him. But then i figured, what exactly could the ''we're closer to the truth'' lyric mean for Xiao? And then i thought... Albedo! That could fit Albedo. And since i love both of these two, i wanted to make an edit including both of them :3
I wanted to try something a liiiittle bit different with this edit. I wanted to focus on the clip selection and the lyrics, and the flow between these things ^^ I tried to make the clips fit the lyrics more as opposed to just thinking of the flow between clips.
This edit has a mini-story to it, which i shall add at the bottom of this description!
I chose to make the effects quite simple.
Ooooh but but! I did try some new things too, such aaaas, making an animation in Blender for this edit! :D I attempted to make a brain- XD a rotating brain owo Had some trouble with the brush settings so i couldn't get any rougher lines on it, but for a first attempt it could be okay!
I used AE for some text effects.
I've actually had an effect idea like 0:09 (the twixtored zoom in on Xiao) for quite some time now, but now i finally found a project that i wanna use it in!
I'm very happy that I got Xiao too~
Currently i'm taking a break from Genshin, and i'll briefly come back to get some more primos and maybe, possibly get Kazuha, and then i'll definitely just, take a break. I'm already starting to move onto other things i wanna do ^^ Genshin is fun, but i'm quite tired of it now ^^''
Welp, i don't wanna tire myself out with writing, so that will be all ^^
I hope y'all enjoy this, and i hope you all have a good and safe day/night!

Story:
Xiao and Albedo are struggling due to loneliness and not being able to find the truth (of the world), respectively, and they continue to search for what they yearn for in their respective regions - their homes. Whether their searches will bring them doom or clarity is unknown, but despite it all, they choose to stand tall against the moonlight, and brave the blizzard's frost.

I'll start with my experiences with editing, and then move onto my thoughts and impressions on the event.
I had recorded the cutscenes in this event to use for editing purposes.
I got the feeling that i wanted to edit the cutscenes from this event, but i didn't want to use just any random song, i wanted the vibe and the lyrics to *fit!*
Welp, spotify recommended me this song, and i rather quickly felt like, i could use it! the lyrics sorta fit the event in my opinion, but the real ideas started when i looked up the lyrics and realized that the song was released in 2010! Understanding that, it made me realize that, yeah, this definitely feels like a song i'd hear in edits from back in the day, during that time.
And so i decided to make this in a style that i like to call ''2017 meets 2012 meets 2021'' akjsdhsahkd
in the sense that i edit like i did in 2017 or so (as i've been feeling nostalgic about my editing from back then, once again), but add in smaaall things that i think could fit the early 2010's editing style that i remember, and add some splashes of what i do nowadays, too.
Some prominent things that i did some years back were white text on black bars, as well as black and white + the stereoscopic 3d effect. Plus i made this edit in 60 fps. And i did the outro like the ones i used to do back in 2018.
Oh! and how could i forget - i edited this in Vegas pro 14 - at first only because i wanted to use the Ignite plugin and use the pixel sort effect, but my other reason for it slowly transformed into, just it being another way to increase the amount of nostalgia for me ^^
I added a blue glow and some certain overlays that i think reminded me of older edits a little.
In general i wanted this edit to feel nostalgic to me. But still give off the vibe and cold feeling of the song, the feeling of something lurking within.
I noticed that ram previewing in Vegas 14 is slower than in Vegas 18. And rendering was slightly slower maybe, due to it rendering with my cpu and not my gpu.
I feel like parts of this video are a bit chaotic, but perhaps that's okay.
Oh! and i did some masks ^^ very simple and pretty shoddy ones, but yes.
Ah, adding the ''_'' to some text was an accident more or less, bc i was trying to do a long ''-'' before the text, but while thinking of ideas of how to do that without opening up the browser and looking up the long line, i typed ''_'' and then i looked at that for a moment and went ''hey, that actually looks pretty cool'' and kept it owo
I also had way too many text ideas for the ''creeping in my soul'' part ksadhdksaj owo XD
All and all, editing this was very fun, i got most of it done in one evening due to hyperfocusing owo
And this took exactly 28 minutes to render :o
about my thoughts on the event!
I loved the additions to Albedo's lore, and i loved the tension that the story started to take on! The ending left quite the room for theories, i love that.
Felt kinda lazy to do the other smaller things for the events, like the agility tests or the whopperflower challenge, but i did do them mostly to get some more primos and materials for my Albedo.
I couldn't be happier that i got Albedo, i'll definitely continue improving his build and using him as my main right now :3
This semester has been very busy and overwhelming for me, but thankfully my winter break has started now ^^ I may or may not upload a little bit more during this time!
so then, with that, i hope you all enjoy this, and i wish you all a good and safe day/night!

Footage recorded by me
~
Finished on: December 3rd
In fact, i wanted to join this trend wagon back in September, if i recall? And i was already recording little bits of footage with my team at the time, but it never got further than that.
However, today, i finally got a sudden idea for how i could stylize my clips ^^ And so, i kinda threw this together!
It was fun to record and edit ^^ And i feel like it would be best to post this sooner, while i'm still actively using this team comp! And before 2.3, when i can hopefully roll for Albedo :o
I mained both Chongyun and Razor for quite a long time!
Hu Tao was someone i didn't plan on getting, but ended up getting accidentally. However despite that, she grew on me reeeally quickly! And i quickly started using her, and found it fun and challenging to learn her playstyle. I'm sure i could still have a bit to learn!
I do hope the text is readable enough. Please pause to read if you need to!
I suppose that is all i want to say.
I have a few edits that i come back and dabble in when i have the time, and maybe some of them could be finished eventually. We'll have to wait and see!
For now, i hope y'all enjoy this tiny thing ^^
I hope you all have a good day/night! c:

Song: Alice Merton - No Roots
Program: Vegas Pro 18
Media: Genshin Impact
Time taken: maybe 3 hours or so?
Recorded with: Nvidia ShadowPlay
This one took a long time!
Also finally another hxh edit!
I believe I started this in uuuhh late September of last year, and I wanted to use this song after hearing it in an insta edit and immediately liking it.
I wanted to capture a psychedelic, vaporwavey(!), and vhs look in this one. Something that could fit the vibe that the song gave me.
And honestly, the result here is quite a lot more different than what i originally wanted!
I originally wanted to animate vaporwave related things(?), animate a spinning vinyl record like in the song's video on yt, i wanted to do wavy bounces, lots of slides, pictures and clips zoomed out on a solid color layer, ''grid-flip'' transitions, and i wanted to use a dotted texture over all of this.
Needless to say, i barely used any of that at all. The only thing that for sure stayed around during the making of this was my idea of a purple/pinkish coloring with a vhs effect!
In fact, i was insecure about how this was looking, as i started editing. I figured i'd need to fix this a lot for me to feel happy with it. However, as i continued editing, i kind of disregarded the notes i wrote for this project, and started improvising.
One instance of this improvising came when doing the clip at 0:06. I actually quickly placed that clip there as like a ''i wanna use this clip somewhere, let's place it around here for now'' and then i played it back and realized that it actually could fit the music really well at that point. I opted to also leave the blank areas that were surrounding the clip, blank. And just put text there instead.
But in general, my clip choices were based on how confident/badass they looked, as i wanted them to give that vibe. And i wanted them to fit the lyrics just a small bit.
I chose these characters because they're my three favorite characters in hxh uwu
I wanted this video to look super colorful and have a pseudo feeling, but still be pleasant to look at.
As i was editing, i noticed that parts of this video have a change in speed. Perhaps that's alright.
This edit is a little different to my usual stuff in the sense that i didn't use scratch overlays in it. I suppose that's one thing i would usually use otherwise, and, while i didn't use much of the Arial font here, i have also had other times when i used different fonts.
For the longest time, this edit was stuck in Some kind of state. And this evening, i somehow was able to sit down and finally finish Kurapika's part, and add the loop, and some other little things. And thus, i finished this.
This was a lot of trial and error and working with s_blurmocurves, as well as s_shake. loads, and loads of those two.
And also figuring out what effects i want, and which could continue the flow well enough.
Oh and of course, while i still edited this on my laptop, it was an absolute nightmare to ram preview. I can tell y'all right now that my laptop hated the part at 0:05-0:08 and maybe took at least one minute to ram preview that. And 0:11-0:13 felt like it took even longer to ram preview, it was just terrible to sit through.
Ram previewing on this pc also wasn't the speediest thing at points, but it didn't feel as, horribly slow. However, before i upgraded my cooler, this project used to make my cpu heat up like all heck, and even made vegas crash/force close itself. Plus, of course, my pc started sounding like a jet engine. With my setup now tho, it was still pretty quiet during the whole time, even when it got slightly hot while rendering.
Maybe something that was causing the issue was that i put an rsmb effect over everything else in an adjustment layer, as opposed to just adding it onto clips separately.
Regardless of these troubles, i'm so happy that this is done, and that we can all see the result!
This is one of the projects i kept around from the time i used Vegas Pro 14, bc i used effects that are no longer supported by Vegas Pro 18 here.
I have some more projects like this that i've kept around and hope to finish sometime as well :3
Ah, rendering this also went well, and it rendered in only 34 minutes and 30 seconds.
I believe that's all i wanted to say.
I hope y'all enjoy this video, and have a very good day/night, too!

I'm not gonna think too much this time around. I'll just post this and leave it at that.
So then, i started this back in September, and was working on it on and off until now. This, along with a certain Xiao edit i'm making, is one of the edits i've been excitedly coming back to, during this time, when i have the inspiration, motivation, and time. That one is a bit more effect-heavy in comparison to this one. Chose to keep this one simple ^^ I'm excited to continue working on that one too, and finish it!
Aaaand i started making this bc i started feeling interested in Albedo as a character, and now, i'm very excited for his rerun!
Oooh aaand I felt inspired to make this a while after seeing instagram user's fxrtility's amazing edit with this song, and very quickly starting to love the song!!
Making this was, kind of a mixed bag. I had an okay time deciding on, and setting clips, and i knew i wanted to play around with making a ''tv line'' effect, plus vortex warps/spins. Oooh! and i knew i wanted to do something that splits in two for the gun-cocking sound effect.
I didn't come back and add effects to this for quite a long time. But when i did, i think i exerted most of my energy doing the splitting fanart part, and then the part that follows.
By that point, i hardly knew what to do to this edit anymore in terms of effects. I didn't want to make it too busy, as there's a lot going on in the background clips already. I wouldn't want to make this look like a mess, so eventually, i chose to keep everything in this video rather simple. The transitions after the part i mentioned took a little bit of thinking. And this evening, I finally managed to fix up some things, replace all of my clips with better quality ones, make a loop and add some other things like a coloring, overlays, and more text, and finish this edit.
Some parts feel a little too bright, i think, but i'm not particularly up for making this perfect now. I suppose this upload is something, a little spontaneous, and just something i go with the flow with.
Elsewise, i feel quite happy with this. I rendered this twice, the second time to fix the brightness (it was even brighter at first), but now, i'm not sure if i'm overthinking that it's too bright, but yes. Oh well.
Ah, the first time it rendered, it rendered in 3 minutes, while the second time, it rendered in 2 minutes, which is really great!
Thank you to my girlfriend for some feedback on this project c:
So then, i hope y'all enjoy this, and i hope you all have a good and safe day/night! ^^

Bonus title: A Crack In Time go BRRR!
This one took some weeks, but i got it done :D
I started making this in the midst of replaying R&C: ACIT and this was my favorite song on one of those days. I started getting ideas that would be just pure appreciation for the look of the game and the gameplay, and something that would focus on Ratchet, too (also bc this is my favorite game of all time ^^) ^^ And so, i decided to use this song. Deciding what some of the clips should be took a little bit of trial and error. At first i used a scene of Ratchet getting out of his ship for the first clip, the ''rider'' one, but i realized that something there just doesn't fit.
I did immediately know that i wanted to use the zoni and gold bolt collecting cutscenes for the ''feeling like a demon'' part ^^
Speaking of that, in the first gold bolt clip, it's strange how Ratchet is all jaggy, even though i didn't change my internal resolution settings, and everything besides that was still at 1440p like it should be. It was somehow only that one area too, as the next scene i faded into, doesn't have that issue ^^''
But in any case! I wanted the focus in this edit to be on gameplay, the flow of it, and the timing of it to the beat using velocity ^^ And so, i wanted to keep the effects rather simple! I don't feel as if the effects themselves are really creative here, but i think the effect with the ''rider/buster'' text came out pretty cool.
Some of this footage i recorded before i got this idea, and other clips i recorded specifically for this edit.
I pretty much set the clips, set the velocity, and then left this project be for a while before adding some rsmb later, and then finally sitting back down eventually to make the effects, and those took about 2 and a half hours to do owo But still, editing this was fun, and i got into it once i finally sat down to do so again :3
Usually if i record gameplay for edits, i found that a nice way to make it look, nice, is to just rotate the camera like at one of those game expos XDD
And i was actually nearly running into the wall as i rotated the camera in that last clip, behind where it fades to black- XD
There isn't anything i dislike about this edit. i rendered this four times to ensure that i fixed anything i didn't really like, possibly :o i'm happy with the result ^w^
I suppose that is all i wanted to say! I really hope that y'all enjoy this and have a very good day/night uwu

Made on: July 15th 2021
I made this soon after i watched episode 11 of Tokyo Revengers. And, once again, my cpu cooler has been upgraded since this time.
Also i honestly loved what they did with the anime episode titles all starting with ''re'' until a certain point. In a way i believe that that inspired this edit's title!
(now that i think of it, maybe this edit doesn't have that much flash or capabilities of giving eyestrain, but, yes. I don't think i have this project anymore, so i can't remove the warning.)
~
Editing this one was an experience that was all over the place.
Firstly, this is my first Tokyo Revengers edit! ^^ I'm enjoying this series sooo darn much!
I suppose i kind of got this idea, and then stuck with it. I would have otherwise found it hard to edit, but somehow, i just kept focus while working on this.
I was sort of ''dual-wielding'' vegas and ps while making this, and that was very fun :3 the moment i got an idea that requires ps, i just went back to its window and made the thing before plopping it into vegas :3
In this video, i wanted to focus on lyrics and mixing together handwritten text (once again!) with stylized text. I really wanted to try overlaying text that is solid, and then text with just the stroke, and so, i did so.
And i suppose I wanted to focus on Mikey the most, perhaps subconsciously bc he's my fave character, but also add Draken and show how they stick beside each other. And then also a bit of Takemichi.
Some parts like the beginning (the ''throat hurts'' part) was trial and error in terms of getting the positioning of the shakes how i wanted them.
All and all editing this was alright and i was happy to see it all come together, however, i quickly grew a little annoyed while making this.
That started when it came to rendering. My first intention was to render this out and edit it more afterwards - adding zooms and pans to make the video look more, three-dimensional, i guess? So after i plopped this back into Vegas, something just wasn't working with my s_blurmocurves movements and i wasn't happy with how it was looking, so i scapped that idea. But i decided to use this opportunity to fix some things in the original that i wasn't very fond of. And so i did. But i was getting tired, so i slowly just, wanted to be done with this already. Then came rendering another time, and i figured that maybe i could render with my gpu to take workload off my cpu so it doesn't keep heating up (it simply worried me, as i don't want the cpu's lifespan to shorten due to frequent-ish heat). I used to be able to get it working, but nah, i somehow it didn't work no matter what i did this time. In fact, when i rendered one time with the supposed encoder that my gpu has, there was no thermal difference and my media player just gave me errors upon opening the video. So the video was broken. Then i was already getting tired of looking at this project, so i rendered again, but i wasn't feeling happy with how my cpu just wasn't catching a break, and started to thermal throttle. This took around 16 minutes to render the first time, and a bit over 18 minutes the third or fourth time i rendered. It was already 2 AM by that point and i was really tired, but regardless of these rendering troubles, i do feel like this result is pretty good. The outro with the thumbnail kind of, might have overstayed its welcome, but i don't want to return to this project now.
And so, i hope y'all enjoy this and also have a good day/night! ^^
I forgot to add my watermark to this XD'' well, please don't repost this video or something like that ^^''

So then, apologies for not uploading for a while. School and Genshin have been both taking up quite some of my time. Plus, on some days i just didn't feel the inspo to edit at all. I figured i could post this now so there's at least something here for the time being!
I'm sick right now, and making this, i didn't feel physically well either, sadly. But i think I'm slowly getting better.
However, i knew that i wanted to make something like this. A while back, i made one Thoma edit (not gonna upload it tho), and now, i really wanted to make another! And i also knew that i wanted to use a soft song, and after scrolling through my spotify just a little, i found this song, and immediately knew that i'm gonna use it uwu
I set the clips, and then i tried out doing a border effect in Vegas, after which i failed to do a rotating border. Although, i went over to AE to do it instead, on a green screen, bc it's quite a lot easier to do there, i feel! And honestly, even if i generally don't like doing moving borders, it was fun to make this one! Quite a lot smoother too. Kinda overestimated the placement of things in clips while making the borders, so i might have closed it too much at points, but oh well!
The idea to do these borders in general was inspired by smth my girlfriend and I were talking about :3
I also immediately knew that i wanted to play around with warpy, vortex transitions, as i've really really been starting to like those lately! c:
The rest was mostly just vibing, and just a big appreciation for Thoma i suppose! And trying to get down a good flow.
Wasn't sure what to do in terms of a coloring tho, so i went with a Very mild one. I mostly wanted to focus on giving everything a dotted texture uwu Uh, i hope that got through okay, with yt's compression ^^''
I was already tired and planning to go to bed by the time i got to 0:16, but then i ended up thinking, ''i don't want to think about or spontaneously make this edit while doing homework tomorrow, i don't want to lose motivation for this'', and thus, I stayed up and somehow managed to finish this!
And i was able to keep my focus too, which was good ^^
Oh! and i recently finally got a new cpu cooler installed in my pc!!! It's doing absolute wonders to my temperature, it's so low!! So i no longer have to worry about, for instance, rendering or gaming essentially burning my cpu at points :o
Absolutely happy with my computer's performance now ^^
This also rendered in 3 minutes, which is great!
I'm honestly pretty proud of this one! I like how smooth it turned out to look, imo ^^ There's nothing i dislike in this one ^^
Oh and about Thoma - i reeeeally like him! I had seen him in edits before, before meeting him myself in Inazuma, but then, when i did, i nearly immediately started liking him! He just gave off this vibe of being so sweet and kind! It was a joy to see him all throughout the Inazuma storyline ^^ I hope i'll be able to get him when he arrives on Hu Tao's banner, and i wish the same for anyone who would like to get him!
And i believe that's all i wanted to say! i really hope that y'all enjoy this, and have a very nice day/night as well! ^^

I wanted to visualize how the song looks to me in this edit! To me it just gives off quite an ethereal vibe. Honestly imo the sound and vibe of this song is just incredible! So pleasing to listen to.
For instance, the echoing lyrics, i wanted to represent as repeating and overlaying text, and i wanted to give this video a touch of something other-worldly, space-themed or night-sky themed filled with stars, and something with ghosting or trails, and pixelation.
One thing i immediately knew is that i wanted to use Kaeya's ult/q move for the ''diamonds'' part.
This turned out looking pretty similar to what i had in mind, if not a bit better.
I wanted to add a little video playing at the start like i've seen in a couple more edits, just to make the intro a little interesting, i suppose ^^
I was partially inspired to do another ''insta-edit'' type of thing here.
And i added the base clips with twixtor in ae and continued editing in vegas.
Still wish you could remove the hud in this game's pc version! Although that probably wouldn't be a, probable feature that would get added, i feel like it would be great for taking screenshots or recording footage.
Getting quite into playing Genshin Impact lately! As of, very recent (actually more recently than i made this edit here), i've been trying to balance my team and base it around elemental reactions. Currently my main damage dealers are Razor and Chongyun, and then a support and a healer character. (My earliest main was Kaeya!)
Though, i feel like some of my favorite characters right now in general are Chongyun, Kaeya, and Eula!
My thoughts here are a bit fragmented, this has been in my drafts for a little bit. But i'd like to say that i didn't have any issues making this, and making this was pretty simple and fun ^^
Only now noticed that one of the ''split screen'' clips at the end zoom in/is zoomed in when it's not supposed to be. Something feels kinda off about the very last split screen on the text too. Oh well i suppose.
I believe rendering this was really fast too, a little less than 7 minutes.
So then, i hope y'all enjoy this, and have a very good day/night!

Boy this one is an oldie owo I re-found this song in one of my playlists the other day, and upon listening to more of it, i remembered just how much i like the sound of it, so i figured, ''what would it sound like when slowed down? I could make another visualization!"' and here we are ^^
In fact! Before i got the idea for what y'all see here, i got an idea for a Gojo edit with this song - using pictures of him from the manga to be precise. I started that, but let's see if i'll continue or finish it!
I wanted to animate the picture, i decided on that rather early, but to make it easier for myself, i did so in Wallpaper Engine and then recorded it.
I wanted to make lyrics appear all throughout this video, but i decided not to, very quickly, as that would take too much effort. But i still wanted some lyrics, so i settled on the chorus! my last idea was to add lyrics for the second verse, as it includes some of my fave lyrics in the song (''that sparkle in my eyes is part of my disguise''), but i decided not to do that either, as it wouldn't make sense why the first verse wouldn't have lyrics then.
This took 56 minutes to render so i hope my mouse cursor doesn't appear anywhere in this video, bc i accidentally opened a program + had my mouse on screen for a bit while recording this at some point XD''
I'm quite happy with the look of this one! The animation could have been a little better perhaps, now that i think of it, but i'm not going back to fix that now.
I also added that little ''faded'' animation of Gojo's legs on the left bc i didn't want my animations for the legs to go into obscurity ^^''
I hope y'all enjoy this little thing ^^

I started doing this mostly bc i thought it'd be fun, and also bc i realized that i've been editing for, 10 years now! I kept this in my drafts for a while so by this point it must be 10 years, as i believe i started editing anywhere from August 11th-14th. So out of nostalgia and whatnot, i wanted to try this c:
I already mentioned most of what i wanted to say in the video! Although, small correction - i used to use either WMM 2.1 or 2.6, i don't remember the exact version number, but it was one of those, most likely.
Another random fact: I started making my videos shorter when i got my first laptop, as the laptop legit overheated and turned itself off when rendering (that went on for quite some time). It was a tiring process to have to deal with, and so i made my edits shorter. However, by extension, that also made me lose ideas for longer edits with time ^^''
I hope to not do too many compilations like this one (it worries me a little). I do have one smaller compilation that i may or may not make public, though. I'm not sure if i will or won't upload another unfinished video dump when i make another one, bc the last one, which i won't upload, turned out to be too long with too many different songs in it ^^''
A thank you to everyone who watches my stuff and also to those who stick around, and have continued to support me through the years ^w^ I really appreciate it, y'all x3
I've been able to meet some wonderful people through sharing my edits on here, and i am thankful that things have been able to align this way, thank you all cx

Wanted to try out making an edit with sound effects after re-finding this song through other video edits!
This isn't my first attempt at smth like this. Can't recall rn if i have uploaded smth similar to this before, but i do know that i still have one Yugioh edit in the making that is based around sound effects like this one is, however, i don't know when or if i will finish that one. Actually, the flow and feel of this one feels more natural than the YGO one! And in fact, the project/idea of the YGO edit is over a year old at this point :o
Wanted to try editing with some new media too - in this case, Black Butler ^^
I didn't want to make this anything fancy either. Just some small things to help this video look nicer ^^ Also did a small mask in this video - the paper falling thingy! That came from me wanting to use both of those clips but not really knowing which one to keep, but then i saw the paper falling over the screen, and i was like, ''waaaiitttt'' XD
Quite happy with the result of this c:
This was really simple and fun to make, and i hope y'all enjoy this little test, and have a great day/night! uwu

To Katie:
Happy anniversary once again, honey!! x3 Man, these past two years have been rough for everyone. They have also been rough for the both of us, and personally, as you're aware, i had terrible patterns of anxiety and overthinking for a year until recently. With your support i'm able to get better now, and i could honestly just thank you endlessly for still sticking around despite all of the troubles!!! I'm very glad that we have both been able to help each other out during these times when needed.
And please remember - u are strong and capable of getting through tough moments! We both are :3 Being with you makes me feel immensely happy and at peace, and as i've mentioned, i don't think there is a perfect person, but a person can be perfect *for* someone , and you are this particular person for me ♥ I'm still endlessly thankful that i have you in my life and that i've met you! I couldn't imagine my life without you and the comfort of your presence x3
You feel like such a big and important part of my life, as well! To quote the song, ''this feeling of our hands connecting, i want unending'' x33
u mean the world to me, my love! I hope this day will be great for both of us ♥ ^w^ I'm so happy that you love this video, too! uwu Aaand I'm happy that you noticed the roles here!! :D
This actually took me quite a long time to finish! ;w; i originally started making this as a Valentine's day gift for her in 2020! But this kept getting dragged out due me having a hard time editing with this song and finding inspo for effects ;w; Actually i had mentioned the existence of this project to her before, but i don't know if she was expecting this to turn out to be her surprise from me this year :D
I was absolutely astonished by the original version of the song when i first heard it, it was so calming, such a great feel to it, and this cover is just as beautiful and romantic cx So i knew i wanted to use it! :3
My idea was to divide this video in roles that we could fit into, and the song could be me @ her :3
So we have:
I am Silver, she is Blaze
I am Ibuki, she is Chiaki (though by this point we might both be Chiaki ;w;)
I am Aki, she is Sherry c:
I had a lot of trouble thinking of clips and effects to use as i mentioned, and i tried my best to ''speedrun'' doing most things these past couple days ;w; when i first rendered this, it was way too bright, you could barely see what was going on in most parts, and so, yesterday, I tried to quickly fix the brightness and one other small thing before showing the video to her :o Thankfully the render time for this was really fast, only nearly 7 minutes for both times, i believe ^^
I hope y'all enjoy this video, and also have a very good day/night x3

This is a remake of an edit i made near when i first started editing - an edit that i made in early December of 2011. With Windows Movie Maker sadkjhaskjsa owo
Finally doing my username justice XD It's been three years since my last R&C edit, i think- :o
So then!! A year ago or so i sent my girlfriend a bunch of my old edits that i had deleted previously but was able to recover - this being one of them, and then!! She said that she would love to see this particular one in my current style, and that immediately gave me the thought of remaking this - plus the idea itself made me really excited - so big shoutout to her for this suggestion! uwu Honestly i think this is one of my Better old edits for me to remake, as well XD
I finished the b&w intro with the ''hide your face forever'' and whatnot last year, and only had set some clips. I was feeling intimated by the amount of work i had to do, so i didn't really get beyond that much XD'' However, this year, during my second semester, i made it my goal to finish this edit over summer of this year, and look what ended up happening ^w^ Once school was basically over for me this year, i intently got to setting more clips, the coloring, and effects, slowly. My ideas were trial and error at points, as i don't edit with this kind of music too often now. But i knew that smth that i wanted to unite everything with would be the tv simulator effect to simulate the sound of the guitar :3 And i wanted everything to be purely what i would define as my style - arial, scratch overlays, bounciness/floatiness, and precision, being some to mention. I knew everything should come into place, once i finished setting the clips!
Every now and then i looked at the original to decide if i like something there and want to carry it over too. I also took a separate day to fiddle around with masks bc those take quite a bit of energy from me XD"'
And every now and then i checked and compared what i'm doing so the flow would be okay. On some days when i was away from home i would also loop this song, when able, and just envision as many ideas as i could, that i could later make when i get home. I really got into making this!
Oh, and i wanted to add a comparison at the end c: It was super exciting to watch the comparison when this was done, i think i've come quite a long way in editing in these nearly 10 years :o
This has got to be the most amount of masks i've done in a video in quite a long time, plus it's the longest of my edits in quite a while, hands down owo I generally am not friends with masks, but i really tried to get myself together and do some for this video - some are a bit half-assed, but there are others like the one at 1:03 that i tried a little harder for ^^
I made some ''quality-of-life'' improvements to this edit while remaking it, such as improved timing and added masks ^^ Some effects i intentionally made similar to the old edit, some i did unintentionally :o And during the bridge, i didn't use that exact clip from the game that i used originally, because i remember my original idea being to play the video in reverse at that point, but since reversing videos isn't a thing (not conveniently anyways) in wmm, i went with the next best thing and used that clip - so i essentially completed my original idea there :3
I added the warning on top of the video at the start so my adjustment layer keyframes wouldn't get displaced ;w;
A fun fact about making the original video - though i don't remember much of my emotions while making this, i remember that i didn't know the lyrics, and i based my clip choices off my misheard lyrics- XD For instance, one of the lyrics is ''proud like a god'', but i misheard it as ''bow like a dog'' or something- XD
However, at points i did wish that my past self would have chosen some better clips ;w; (like, what am i supposed to do with 1:01- XD) quite a few were also rather long in length, as you can see owo''
I had to reinstall magic bullet looks while editing this bc i installed another plugin related to it, and it caused p much all of the video to get a black/blue screen as a watermark, but after reinstalling that fixed the issue. The editing process itself was rather alright, tho i feel like my pc was getting tired of my shenanigans with time, bc the ram previews got very, very slow XD"' i guess that's understandable given how much i shoved onto the clips tho XD''
Speaking of getting slow - my gosh - the render time XD'' This took over an hour to render for the comparison, and over 2 hours to render the second time *with* the comparison included, and that is by far the longest render time i've had on this pc so far XD''
I really, reeeally hope that y'all enjoy this thingy, and i wish you all a great day/night uwu

I look forward to making something like this for A Crack In Time, as well. But maybe once the graphical glitches get fixed a liiittle more. I hope that will happen soon!
I should note that i recorded this while playing in Challenge mode, so that's why I have the late-game armor in every in-game cutscene.
I mostly included in-game cutscenes in this preview due to the pre-rendered cgi ones already having a set quality and fps (anywhere from 23-30 fps?) to them, so there isn't all too much that can affect those, besides bumping up the visibility.
I started fixing minor audio sync differences starting from cutscene 17, but perhaps that isn't too much of an issue.
It was a little unfortunate that i needed to watch p much every cutscene twice until a certain point to record this, as each time i first played through the cutscenes, RPCS3 was compiling shaders for this resolution, bc i had never played in it before. However, eventually i found out how to remove the ''compiling shaders'' overlay.
Recording this was also trial and error in terms of figuring out which methods worked for me and which didn't, such as one recording software not rendering at a high enough quality, despite being set to render in 4k, and ShadowPlay not letting me render higher than 1080p (my monitor's resolution), yet still providing me with higher bitrate/quality options. And then Vegas somehow not being a friend when it came to the final result of my renders, and not being able to find out what the problem was until i decided to try out Premiere for rendering these.
Regardless of my troubles while making this, i am very pleased with the outcome of my footage.
And a thank you to my girlfriend for giving me suggestions/advice while making this project :3
And so, i hope you all enjoy these cutscenes, and here is the download link to them (They are all in a folder, and can be downloaded separately, or however you may wish) ^^: drive.google.com/drive/folders/10-7dgklDmYEqEF73izCny9rtrIHc53W9?usp=sharing

Aaaand here's the last of the three videos I wanted to upload.
I believe I was inspired to make this one after I saw a MEP with this remix.
I gave up with adding new clips in this one last year, since some scenes were left empty, still. I just used whatever I had already set, some things i had left further along the timeline, or just used typography in some parts instead.
This one hadn't been uploaded on Vlare before either, as I hadn't finished this one by the time Vlare went down.
As I was making this one last year I was so TIRED and I just wanted this to be DONE ksdhadjsa And it was great when this was finally finished ^^
Regarding how fun it was to make, uuuhhhh? I think it was pretty fuuuunnnn?? owo
Well then, I hope y'all enjoyed this series of videos. I hope y'all enjoy this one as well ^^ I wish you all a good and safe day/night!

*and flickering!*
Below is another description i wrote some months back, i wrote it on the same night i finished this edit ^^ (In fact i am STILL not sick of this song- XD) (I also realized that i misspelled something in the intro, but oh well ^^''):
So this one was an interesting one :o
this is was my favorite song for a few days and i just couldn't stop listening to it! I imagined the lyrics in an abstract way, and every time i listened to it, i got these interesting ideas of like a character/person who is both a vampire and an assassin. But coming back to the editing process - I got to ep 20 of JJK, dubbed, and it was so good :o I was yelling over Gojo at points XD And! After watching this ep and listening to this song again, i started getting visions of an edit! And so, i started this edit which i intended to be a quick, messy, and spontaneous edit. i originally wasn't intending on having much of a vibe or theme to this edit, but as i was editing, i realized that i was actually creating something of a scary vibe for this edit :o so maybe Halloween vibes here owo'' The vibe of this video in general is different from what i usually make, i feel owo''
I used AE for the most part here and then did two clips in vegas, and then finished the edit in Vegas. For this one, i went with my instincts. the very first thing i thought of, or saw, is what i added. i actually made a little edit in PS of Gojo with vampire fangs! At around 0 : 04, it zooms into his mouth where i added fangs, and I also added dark circles under his eyes and streaks along his eyes in that same edit, but unfortunately that is completely invisible here. As i edited, i realized that I wanted to play around with the liquify tool, and so i did! Being spontaneous helped with keeping together my motivation to edit this, but I did get tired towards the end of making it.
I edited the first Gojo scene partially in Vegas, as well as the clip at 0 : 08 bc I feel able to get the most precision out of s_blurmocurves there instead of AE. Then I plopped these clips back into AE and continued ^^ And then when it was done in AE, i plopped it into Vegas, added flickers, overlays, and rsmb, as well as other little thingies :3
I loved experimenting with the text! It was a lot of fun doing the ''masquerade'' and ''bloodlines'' text! I really like that kind of squished text :o In general experimenting with colors, effects, and text here was so fun, and I'm very happy with this result :3 I was very determined when editing this, tho i hyperfixated for quite a while and nearly forgot to do some things, but i was able to remember about them and do them eventually owo''
Ah i realized that i forgot to add flickers near the end. oh well!
The render time in AE was also very fast - only 12 minutes and 53 seconds :o And so was the render time in vegas - a little bit over 4 minutes ^^
So yus, that's the main of what i wanted to say, and i hope y'all enjoy this and have a very great day/night! :o
Also i'll try to leave ep 20 of jjk alone for now - i have edited with it a bit too much at this point- XD

Below is an older description i wrote some months back ^^
~
I heard ''ora ganbare ganbare'' too many times and this happened XD
So it's this song again! Felt inspired to use it once again ^^
One day in general, i felt inspired to make a mashup audio with this song, and so I did. I didn't have a media or an edit for it in mind tho, until a few days ago.
I might have gotten some edit ideas of Sukuna and this audio? I think my original idea might have been a little less ''smooth'' and ''bouncy'' than this is, but i do like doing bouncy effects nowadays ^w^ Oh!! And i only wanted to use jumpy and jittery text like i did for my watermark and at 0 : 19, but then i got other ideas jksadhdsaj owo thus perhaps there isn't much consistency in some things here, but i think that's fine ^^
At first i felt tired when i started making this, but i slowly got more energy to edit on that same evening! I was able to do quite a bit, and the vibe just started coming out on its own. I got into making this!
Kind of didn't have many ideas for clips to add at points - ones that could somewhat fit the lyrics, but i did end up finding some!
Speaking of lyrics, I tried to base my clip and text choices on both parts of the song that I'm using here, and alternate between the two ^^
I also decided to include my handdrawn text at 0 : 06 bc why not :3
A part of this was also experimenting and trying to see if some other effects could fit the vibe :3
It may or may not be noticeable that i got tired while making the end of the video, but oh well owo
regarding the editing and rendering process this time around: everything during editing was on point and fast in terms of performance, asiiiidee from it going into ''not responding'' for a few seconds bc i saved while it was still doing smth else intensive, but it unfroze quick enough. And uh, one error message that i've never gotten before, that had smth to do with twixtor, and which caused the preview to get all glitchy and for the clip to basically partially get a black rectangle over it (not completely black, just a rectangle), and due to which i had to restart vegas, but i could do so quickly, and after coming back, everything was fine again. might have exhausted vegas for a bit there ^^''
oh but uh, at times, after ram previewing, i chose to wait a little for the fans on my pc to calm down before pressing play XD''
oh and i didn't check temperatures much this time around - in general the rendering experience was, pretty good! the fans did get loud at points but not extremely loud. it rendered pretty quickly too, which was nice :3
And yes, i definitely really like doing highly saturated and colorful edits at the moment :3
So yes! that's what i wanted to say~
I had fun making this and i feel happy with the result! :3 i hope that y'all enjoy it, as well :3
i wish you all a good day/night! c:

So uh, I wanted this video to be a confusing experience to watch bc my feelings, and later my editing/rendering process with the video, really was a confusing experience XD''
I've been very vaguely wanting to try video editing on this pc for a while, but i've had zero inspiration, time, motivation, or ideas for songs, and so I picked this one bc it was all i had in mind, and i realized that i reeeaaaaalllyyyy didn't want to think about clips and how much they fit the lyrics, i just wanted to slap effects together, and so, ta-da, low effort edit ^^''
I recently got that new pc, and it's quite a lot more powerful than my laptop was, however I had some stress and small issues with the temperatures of the pc before I understood one thing about a component. Generally I'm really enjoying my experience with it now that I've been put at ease. However this time around, I think the temperatures made things get a bit worse, or just simply, rendering this wasn't pleasant whatsoever.
the editing process was fast and flawless. the render process?... not so much XD''
My pc's cpu temperatures got very high, and they were high basically the whole time, it was slow, there were issues with it stopping during rendering, and it was a stressful experience, would not recommend XD''
(maybe getting a new cpu cooler sometime would be a good idea, who knows~ XD'')
I honestly don't even really care about the result of the video anymore or the little imperfections, i'm just glad this is rendered out XD''
Had to render this at least 5 times, and it all suuuuccckeeedd XD'' I'm really glad that I didn't decide to loop this any more times than I already did XD''
Never minding that stuff though, the actual editing process was really good!! It was really speedy and snappy, no lag during usage, and the ram playback was great. The machine also stayed pretty quiet a lot of the time.
Though, i added the ''i'm tired'' at the start bc I've just generally been very tired, physically, and mentally, bc of school mostly. And editing this made me tired too XD'' I wanted to add hxh too, in the loop, bc I wanted the effects to loop at first, not the whole thing, but uh, look where a lack of energy got me owo''
I wanna get used to using Vegas Pro 18, so I used that to make this ^^ I got into it and getting used to the program for this video p much gave me no trouble at all :3
I decided to try the black bar effects again here, and i don't use them much bc i don't really like how i do them, buuut, i suppose they added some uniqueness to this video, a little ^^
Accidentally forgot to add a change in a keyframe on the bars juuust before the loop, but to heck with it XD'' this wasn't supposed to be a full effort edit ^^''
Also forgot to copy most of the overlays into the loops, but oh well XD''
I suppose that is all i wanted to say owo i hope y'all enjoy this and have a very good day/night ^^

Program: Vegas Pro 18
Layers: 18
Time taken: ~7 hours (Total render time: 39 minutes, 11 seconds)
Media: Jujutsu Kaisen
Made on: March 19th, 2021
i had accidentally rendered it without sound and then without checking first i just uploaded that one, then i found out that it had no sound but i forgot to replace it HERE XD
but oki imma paste back in my description, so yes XD :3
Gonna do a thingy like this again! I'll type my thoughts on what I think the audio will be before i listen :o
So I did another deaf edit!~ My bestie sent me another audio and basically gave me the keyword ''badass'' :3 also ''loop'' but we decided not to loop owo
I used Killua and Gojo bc they were the first to come to my mind! owo
I tried to draw parallels between them :3
I'll continue after my reactions owo
She has told me that there's lyrics, and I imagine the lyrics having the vibe of Dangerous by NEFFEX :o And she also told me that the song is pretty fast, so I tried to use fast effects and overlay some clips owo
I feel like maybe the lyrics could have smth to do with power, or strength, or being on top or smth along those lines owo and maybe like a ''get out of the way'' vibe if that makes sense kadhadjk owo
And I imagine, yea, the sound being a bit glitchy (bc she did point out a glitch in the song to me :o), and fast, and just an intense kind of vibe, sort of owo
so yes those are my thoughts :3
Reveal time owo
edit:
omg this is so cool!!! owo i really like this!!! XD it fits pretty well???? XD she said at one point that one part fits the lyrics and i see what she means now!! XD holy heckie XDD
this is indeed badass too!! XD This is so nice, i really like this result, yo XD
the lyrics are NOT what i expected owo but this is so cool and fitting too XD
......wait I just took a look at the full song and I don't like the rest of the lyrics at all ;w;
but oki owo''
Oki but now to continue the rest :o
I wanted to use Killua and Gojo as I mentioned, and I wanted to use clips in which they continue each other's motions, where they have similar vibes, or when they are doing similar things. And I wanted a flow in the action of the scenes ^^
And i feel like I spotted a good scene combination adding the clips for around 0 : 10, bc when i lined them up next to each other and I saw that they're essentially doing the same pose at the same angle, and i saw that it works, i was like ''YEEEEEESSSS!!"' XDD
And it got a bit tiring to make this at first bc this was the second edit I was working on yesterday, but I had more energy today! And so I was able to finish it :3 Fixed up some little things I initially didn't really like, and all went well after that ^^
The clips and the speed of the video was a bit of trial and error, but I got something out of it eventually :3
Hmmmmmmm owo yes, and adding the effects themselves went pretty smoothly and quickly owo
I think that is all I wanted to say :o
So then! I hope that y'all enjoy this, aaaand also have a very good day/night c:

Woooo!
I'm also proud of this one x3
So a while back I saw a buuuuncch of edits on insta (and yt!!) of Gojo in this episode of jjk, and, honestly these edits were in the back of my brain throughout most of the next day then XD I downloaded this ep specifically to edit these scenes too bc they are so COOL, and i'd already made a quick edit of him previously, but for this one!! i felt more inspired and I wanted to give it another shot :3
So I suppose this is my addition to those edits ^^
I instantly vibed with this song after hearing it in one of the edits I watched, and I really wanted to use it too x3
My very first idea with this was to make something of an infinite looping comfort edit for myself! Wasn't sure if I would post it, but I'm feeling happy enough with it to do so :3 This video also loops as a whole, video and audio-wise X3 The colors don't really match by the time it loops, but oh well!
I threw this together during some of my free time and it was really fun to make x3 It was a smooth process in general, and I really got into the flow of it ^^
I wanted to add this many loops to hopefully maintain my level of effort throughout the video, and that worked! And to make the loops a bit more interesting I changed smth up in each of them, mostly colors, and some other little things.
I nearly felt too lazy to do the slides near the end of the loop, but i managed to do them!
Woohoo I used different fonts this time around :o
Also a part of making this was me going ''ooooh right i had this idea!!'' and ''oooh what if i do this??? *does it* OOOOH!'' XD
...ah I forgot to do most flashes and blurs owo oh well owo
I guess I also kind of intentionally made this more like the edits that you see on insta, bc why not ^^
To make a note, no, i did not make this at 5 in the morning owo''
This only took about 28 minutes to render which is great, considering that, most of my render times now are at least 40 minutes for effect heavy videos ^^ Then again, most of this is a pre-rendered loop, but yea ^^''
I feel like these edits made me like Gojo even more and now i'm in a bit of a troublesome situation where I still don't entirely want to continue watching jjk, but at the same time i do bc of Gojo, i- XD
But yes! I really hope that y'all enjoy this, and also have a very good day/night ^w^

Y'all remember when i said that i won't post personal edits now unless the urge to edit hits me? well guess what happened XD
Eh, I have time until I get the pc ^^
This is an idea that came to me the other day, and i guess it could be meant as an outlet for stress, too ^^'' And thus i made it based off that idea, and the idea of mimicking the feeling of reality shifting, or at least what I could nearly do of it owo Just the whole numb and lightweight feeling owo
I didn't look up the lyrics for this and I realized that I got the line at 0 : 14 wrong (it's ''*live off you like matter''), but oh well. this isn't supposed to be a serious edit ^^
I suppose this is a bit different than what I usually make :o I also have a visualization in which I included an edit that I made some months back that is similar-ish in style to this ^^ Still yet to make it public ^^
I actually first made this for myself, but now I started considering uploading it here too, so I rendered a new version with a warning at the start! However, I couldn't render within the original project if I wanted to precisely keep my adjustment layer keyframes, so I wasn't able to go back and fix the lyric that's wrong, or rather, eh, I guess i could have done it, but I didn't feel like rendering the original again ^^''
I generally just wanted to use a bunch of lighthearted footage to contrast the duality of the lyrics. I wanted to use YGO for this too? But I lost the motivation to add new clips from new media or look for clips, so hxh and sk8 it is ^^''
The ''gay'' i just added bc that was my first thought when i saw that scene again as i was scrubbing through episodes, and I decided to keep it dkjhdsah owo
I just added a preset that I had saved of my vertical and horizontal shakes, they got quite a bit of the job done here ^^ I also didn't think much while adding these effects, I just went with the flow ^^ Perhaps this kind of style is also me purposefully doing smth that is the opposite of the ''proper'' way of editing that I am learning! ...That includes using comic sans XD
I'm pretty sure I intended for this video to be hard to look at, too owo owo''
Oh and I also turned up the saturation as much as it would allow me to, bc it got to a point where it no longer made any changes if I raised the saturation any higher owo display be like ''there are no brighter colors than this!!"' XD
Also this resolution is interesting. I didn't really wanna do a square but I didn't wanna do 4:3 either, so here we have,,,, 1200x1080, whatever that resolution is XDD
I added the voiceover at the end bc I heard it/remembered about it while scrubbing through clips, and I just thought it was very cute, so I wanted to keep it :3
I rendered this yet another time tho, bc I didn't want the colors to come in so suddenly, and thus, i opted for a little fade from b&w to hopefully make a safer transition to look at.
Hmmm oki, so this will be my late-night, strange upload for the day owo
I hope that y'all enjoy this, and also have a very good day/night :3

Yooo! I'm very proud of this one :3
I guess I wanna start off by saying that a while back I attempted to watch Jujutsu Kaisen. However, um, the main theme of the anime was hard for me to emotionally handle, it kinda gave me, a lot of anxiety, and in any case, I don't like horror anime. Nor do I like horror things in general but yea. Stopped watching after episode 2. However, I really felt like, despite not liking the story, I still liked the characters! And thus, I am in this kind of situation where I like seeing edits of the anime, but don't want to be reminded of the story much owo'' So, I was inspired to make this bc I figured, yo, I really like all of these edits, what if I were to make my own owo
I chose these characters bc they felt like they could be the most interesting to edit with, plus I guess Gojo was one of the characters that interested me from the anime owo
At first I wasn't feel very confident in this and what I wanna make the effects like, but after setting most of the clips and the coloring, I just kinda played it back, and then went to one clip and, without thinking , did some kind of smooth zoom out shake. (It's the clip at 0 : 14! ^^) From there I was just pleasantly surprised by the result, and I figured I'd try to make nearly everything have the same flow as that clip. I tried something a bit new with my zooms and shakes! Instead of being moderate with my settings, I set like the closest values to 0,100, and the farthest to over 2,000 for the zooms, and so on. I also did more ''bouncy'' zooms. And as I wrote in one of my markers, this project was basically ''s_blurmocurves x 100 and s_shake x 100'' askdjhdsajhks owo
I think I might have done a part of this in one evening, and then I couldn't come back to this for about a week bc I was busy. Came back to this the other day and I tried to get back into the flow of it as I added effects to some clips owo
I suppose another one of my ideas was to not only match the beats, but the sounds too ^^
But yes, in general i'm happy with how smooth and ''flowy'' these effects are owo
The only thingy is that i'm not sure why the eye transition consistently didn't want to fade out slower owo''
Ah and some pretty good news is that I will actually be getting a more powerful computer next month or so - a desktop pc!
Although my current laptop is still good for what it is, it's unfortunately starting to show its age a little ^^'' At the moment I'm still not certain what desktop that will be bc the one I wanted got sold... but I do hope it'll be close to what I wanted, and at the very least more powerful and capable than this laptop is getting now!
But yes! Bc of the fact that I'll be getting a new computer, I'll be holding off on editing new things until then, for the most part. I've already gone about and deleted things I don't want to carry over, plus made a, 4th unfinished video dump, which is uh, over 19 minutes long, and I'm hesitant to upload it on yt bc it has so much music XD''
So unless some kind of editing hits me, this shall be the last (personal) video edit I finish/upload on my laptop :o
So yes, I think that would be all for now owo
I really hope that y'all enjoy this, and have a very good day/night, too! c:

Song (full title): Savage Ga$p - pumpkins scream in the dead of night (feat. shinigami) (slowed)
(Oopsie, i forgot to add a space in the outro ;w;)
Layers: 14
Time taken: ~4 days (all together)
I've actually wanted to edit with this song on multiple occasions but never did so bc I quickly lost inspo or felt like I couldn't make smth as good as the other edits I've seen with this song ^^''
However! This time I got really into the zone, and all was oki, while editing :3
I really really wanna say!! That I have basically fallen in love with this kind of editing style now! :3 Two evenings ago I got inspired to make like a creepy photo edit and add lots of colors, shading, and ''textures'' to the skin, and I did that, and while I was shocked that I even made something like that - yesterday I had learned about frame by frame animation in class!! I instantly loved what we were doing bc it felt similar to the drawing I did the other evening, and had loads of fun making my example video ^w^ And then, yesterday evening, I made a batch of 4 photo edits, 3 of them were creepy and after which I understood that I need to take a break from that editing style, and then I made a cute edit to make myself feel better and I also incorporated drawing and shading into it ^w^ I don't have a drawing tablet, so I'm left with drawing with a mouse, but if I get into the zone, it nearly feels like I'm using a pen with how smoothly things go :3 And then!!! came this idea after remembering about the ED like I mentioned ^^
I got to editing this around midnight last night, and it took me 2 hours to make the animations :3 I set the clips and audio, did the first couple zooms and slides, and of course did the animations in ae. Drawing these was very fun, but I sort of ran out of ideas towards the end of the loop owo'' I was so tired by the time I had to rewrite ''to eternal bliss'' over and over, and my handwriting got terrible XDD
I originally wanted my watermark to be in my usual arial font, but since everything else was hand-drawn/handwritten, I decided to write my watermark ^w^
I set down the video roughly in Vegas then, and I got back to this, this morning ^^ I ended up fixing my animations a little, wrote my watermark, and then got to editing this in Vegas :3 A part of it just involved copying and pasting event attributes owo
It's kinda hard to see the ''ripple/wave'' thingies I did at around 0 : 12 bc of the brightness, but oh well owo
Oooh also, yay, another 60 fps video owo :3
Ah also, I wanna mention that I'm feeling better since posting my previous edit owo
I find it kinda interesting that this thumbnail ended up having a faint image of Gon and Killua in it that is like, the opposite of their pose in the thumbnail of my ''falling in love'' edit owo there, they were facing each other, but here, they're turning away from each other owo
Oh and I suppose I made this as kinda like Killua @ Gon, and made my animations resemble that idea owo
I'm veeeerrryy happy with the result of this!! this was so cool and fun to make, and i really hope that y'all will enjoy this as much as I had fun making it :3 I wish you a good day/night, as well! c:

This isn't a vent edit, and I don't relate to these lyrics, but this is simply an outlet for my emotions. Or, maybe it could be a vent edit, depending on how you look at it, but yes.
This day simply wasn't too fantastic for me and I've been feeling anxious, in part because of school, but in a larger part for uh, another reason, but I don't really feel like sharing that one bc it might be a little silly. Or not, I'm not sure. I'm sure that one will come to pass eventually though.
For now, I suppose y'all can have this edit. This can be thought of as an edit with an emotional/personal touch, I suppose.
I hope I'll be able to gather up some motivation to do stuff like school work and other things too, again. Today I've just had next to none to do anything at all, and I'm not feeling great about that.
Anyways, I wanted this edit to have a muted vibe to reflect my feelings. I actually opted to add a ''bass only'' (nearly) sound effect during the whole duration of the video to make it sound more muffled.
Adding the chain png/overlay here was a spontaneous decision, I just simply noticed them in my textures folder and thought ''what if i just go ahead and add some chains to this'', and plus, I guess that makes the video look less, boring.
To be honest, I may or may not be having a little point again where anxiety is starting to tumble down on me again and I'm starting to feel less strong again as a result of that. That's kind of something I've been struggling with ever since late Summer of last year. I suppose it's okay to not be strong all of the time, and it's also okay to have days where days don't go very well or you're not able to be very productive no matter what you do. That could be a more positive note.
I suppose that's all I wanna say about this. Some of my late-night rambles, I suppose ^^''
So then, with that, I hope that y'all, perhaps enjoy this edit, and have a good day/night.
Ooof, it's nearly half past 2 AM here ^^''
(I'm feeling reluctant to make this edit public, but I shall do so! Again, it's okay to not always be strong and at your best ^^'')

I looped this song nearly the whole time I read and finished a shoujo-ai manga, and after finishing that and just feeling very soft, I got an idea like this :3 basically ''now get ready for,,, shounen-ai'' owo but yes ^^
I think this is partially inspired by an edit that I saw on insta earlier on! I don't remember when I saw it tho and who made it, so, apologies ^^'' If I'll find the edit again at some point, I could link it here :3 But the song that was used was the remix of this song, ''Moment'', and they used, for the most part, panels of this scene from the manga :3 Personally, all that was in my head while listening to this was this scene in the 2011 anime, so I chose to use that one, and threw in the 1999 version too :3
I had no clue that this actually was the original version of the song! And I learned that the person who remixed it did so without giving credit.
Well, returning back to the edit, I felt an immediate inspiration to try out text like this - where it's huge, scrolling, overlapped, and really squished to the sides :3 Originally wanted the aspect ratio to be 16:9, but then I made it 4:3 to make it easier for myself regarding the 1999 anime clips, which are already 4:3 ^^
I also tried out the ''partial page turn'' effect, which I think has been a very popular effect to use in insta edits, and which I also like quite a bit ^^ I added it kind of spontaneously bc it was in the list of what I searched for in the search bar, in Vegas, so I thought ''oooh it's that thing'', and then added it :3 I think it fits quite well into everything :3
I got tired making this towards the end and maybe that is visible in the effects, but oh well ^^
The only part I think is a little wonky is the zoom at 0 : 08 - I went back to that multiple times trying to change it, and realized that I made a bit of a mistake by zooming in, bc Gon, in that scene, moves backwards at first, so there's this strange choppiness bc the motions don't go together, but I couldn't make it zoom out bc that would no longer fit the zoom in transition that I wanted. Oh well ^^''
Hmmm I suppose that's the main of what I wanted to say!
Well then, I hope y'all enjoy this, and also have a very good day/night :3

Song: Imogen Heap - A New Kind Of Love (please support this version of the song!)
Program: Vegas Pro 14
Layers: 20
Time taken: ~5 hours - 5 and a half hours?
Media: Hunter x Hunter (2011), Hunter x Hunter (1999)
I immediately vibed with everything upon watching the first few minutes of the first episode and I think I already have some favorite characters in this particular anime XDD
I think I should be able to watch episode 2 today once it airs, so I'll tune into that if I'll remember :3
But yes, I had some trouble finding a song that I think could suit the vibe that I wanted to go for here, but I settled on this one and I think it's an alright choice :3
I also didn't feel very confident as I started making this, so I decided to set some overlays early on to ''set the vibe'' more precisely, and then I started having more fun editing again ^w^
Me and my 12 layers of overlays for this project again, too XDD
Ooh I also rendered out the first loop but replaced the text with the one in the second half (''tell me baby''), just to make things easier for myself for the second loop, and then I decided to change the hue a little to make the loop more interesting ^^ The I also reversed the loop in the outro :3
I unfortunately needed to render this a second time after I was done with it past 2 AM bc 15 seconds away from finishing the render I noticed a mistake at the end ;w; But in that case I decided to add some more little things to the edit to make it less boring for myself, bc I noticed how the vibe here is kinda similar to a YGO edit that I made early last year, and I wasn't very fond of the fact that it ended up being similar owo'' Afterwards tho I just left this rendering overnight bc I really wanted to sleep owo
Welp, I suppose that's the main of what I wanted to say, so I hope y'all enjoy this, and also have a very good day/night :3

Program: Vegas Pro 14
Layers: 18
Time taken: 3 hours - 3 and a half hours
Media: Sk8 the Infinity
So here it is, y'all can have it ^^
Also, it sounds better with headphones due to one part switching between audio channels.
My idea included basically doing masks, some animations, and basically creating a 3D camera-like space, in Vegas.
Uuuuhh, I suppose I don't have much to say about this one. Just kinda wanted to make this visualization simple and fitting to the song, color-wise ^^ The song's title is ''Pink wine''. The image is sort of a leftover of my idea, bc I wanted the main focus of the video to be pretty scenery and flower fields! Yellow flower fields.
Well then, I hope y'all enjoy this simple thing, and I wish you all a good day/night ^^
Right then, I'm getting really tired, so I'll be off to bed.
If y'all could credit me if you use this, that would be appreciated ^^
You can download this with a YouTube to mp3 converter.
Media / characters: Hunter x Hunter (2011) / Gon, Killua, Alluka
The song is in the title.
This is the second video in this series of uploads.
I'm pretty sure this one was fun to make even if it took a long time, and coming back to this in late 2019, I tried to not half-ass it as much, I suppose. There were some ideas I had that I wanted to do here, that I still hadn't done by that point, but I honestly wasn't about to put That kind of effort into this anymore.
Making the text in this one was also fun and interesting ^^
Glad I could end up finishing this one, bc I'm pretty happy with my editing here.
I still really like this song tho :3
Also, I don't know if y'all remember, but when I did the editing pack for 200 subs on my channel, one of the colorings I included was actually this one :3 Don't remember if I edited it or not there, but yeah, the base of it was this one ^^
Now if I recall correctly, this was also the project I was working on at the same time as when I uploaded my ''Kafa Denim'' edit. Oof.
Feels wild to think back to this sajdkhdsajsa
Anyways, I think that's the main of what I wanted to say. I hope y'all enjoy this, and I wish you all a good day/night ^^

Time taken: 1 year and 1 month, or a few weeks, if I recall. (I started this in mid/late-November of 2018 and finished in mid-December of 2019.)
I can't recall if I've ever made an edit with a story (in general?), especially one that i write and then base the edit off of owo
This idea came to me simply when I was deciding what to do the next day, so I'm not left p much bored throughout the day. And suddenly, the thought of writing a story edit about Killua made me excited, and slowly it turned into a Killugon idea, and here we are :3
It's likely that I was inspired to make a story edit by both Mia Hikari and KaibaShadow :O I loved Mia's ''Arcade'' story edit, and I loved how much I was able to immerse myself into the story as I was watching, and I know that KaibaShadow loves making story edits in general :3
It took some time to find the sketches by one of the hxh animators, that I was looking for, and a couple parts of the video were some trial and error in terms of giving them a logical flow that goes with the story and also the lyrics in a way, but I managed!
I seem to be vibing with simple editing when it comes to longer videos like this one. I wanted the scenes to be understandable tho~
And I was making this, I could swear that I was adding some kind of symbolism into the effects that I wasn't fully aware of XD
One thing that was just something I did to differentiate clips - I made the ''visions'' and scenes that Killua sees in his head look more soft and dreamy ^^
I kinda increased the intensity of effects and changed them up as the video progressed, and all I know is that when I added them I was like ''this is supposed to mean something'' XD Take that as you will, maybe XD Maybe the changes can be seen as an ''increase an emotion'' in that sense, but I really don't know ^^
Right then, there's a little more I wanted to say about the effects, but the desc limit is angry, so I shall end this off owo
I hope that y'all enjoy this and have a very good day/night x3
A thank you to my girlfriend for giving me feedback on this project :3
Story:
Another day had passed, spending time together with Gon, and Killua found himself wide awake when he should be asleep. His best friend had long-since fallen asleep near him. Peacefully, and without any second thoughts. Meanwhile, Killua stared up at the ceiling, at nothing in particular, not being able to get the moments of true happiness that he had felt around the dark haired boy, out of his head. And not just that - he remembered the sad moments, the more intense moments, and simply the moments when he could be together with him, with a smile on his face or watch Gon relish in his own happiness. All he knew is that he had fun around him, and wanted to stay by his side, but another aspect felt missing. Killua couldn't quite pin it down, nor really understand what it is that he might be feeling. Before he knew it, the only thing on his mind was Gon, and the thought of simply being close to him, maybe even being able to hold his hand. By this point, the white haired boy's face was flushing bright red, and he could barely keep his composure. He was only glad that Gon wasn't awake to see this, but he still couldn't stand that he was blushing so much. From here, something occurred to him - if he were to tell Gon about this, how would he react? Would he reject these feelings that he seems to be feeling, would he push him away? That was one of the things he feared most. This anxiety dug into him, even more so not allowing him to sleep, but he decided to think more about this tomorrow.
The next day, as the two were out and about, Killua finally, while Gon wasn't fully paying attention, worked up the confidence to speak about the way he'd been feeling, and this feeling of wanting to be close to him. Killua was nearly in shambles as he confessed, and tears already started to flow down his cheeks - he was much too scared of what would happen next. However, to his shock, once Gon turned around to face him, he reached out a finger to him. Quickly taking his pinky finger into a pinky promise. The dark haired boy smiled, telling him that he accepts his feelings, and that if he ever wants to sometime, it's okay if he holds his hand or holds him close. Killua felt a moment of shock, before, in tears, beginning to smile. Needless to say, he felt relieved that the situation turned out this way. He shakily took his best friend's hand to bring it up to his cheek, wiping his tears. In this moment, he understood - the emotion he might be feeling is, love. And, as if flowing into him like a gentle stream in a river, he felt this next thought come to him so naturally, as he looked at his smiling friend - ''Even when we fade away eventually to nothing, you will always be my favorite form of loving''.
I suppose we can imagine that Killua is the one getting his tears wiped at 0:49 ^^

Kind of reuploads, too.
Basically, I won't be making new edits with Final Fantasy media, or Kingdom Hearts media, or any media by Square Enix. I haven't been making any since late 2019. However, I did decide to finish 3 videos in which I really liked my editing, and I didn't want to drop them for that reason. This is the first that I finished of those videos.
I believe for this project, it had also transformed into something of a vent, a project that I came back to every now and then when I felt bad, but not solely for that reason.
I accidentally used the same clip twice here, but oh well.
I don't remember much of what I had to say about this on Vlare, buuut, yes, I knew I wanted to finish this one.
I think it was fun to make at most points? The points which didn't involve me feeling bad.
Eeeerrmmm??? I really don't have much else to say, so!! I hope that y'all enjoy this thing, and also have a good day/night.
I feel scared to say much in regards to this new year.
Last year was terrible and, I believe that things won't immediately become better upon the start of this year, but I do hope that with time, things will be able to heal and improve.
Still, I do wish you all a happy new year!

Song: Riverkinn - Vacancy

This year has been a mess, and it's been horrible.
Whether this audio could provide a brief moment of relaxation, I'm not sure, but I do want to say that I, personally, really like the result of this one.
Honestly this audio got me through some stress in the first half the year, as well as helped me keep my focus on school work. I had it on loop at certain points, and it really set a calming vibe when I needed it.
Also earlier this year, I made and uploaded this to Vlare! And I suppose, the quality of it, video and sound-wise, could be better here ^^
This is my favorite version of the song, and I was really curious to know what it would sound like when slowed and with reverb added, and honestly? It sounds rather ethereal, imo ^^ I decided to accompany it with this clip because I feel like something of it gives off a floaty, dreamy, and also calming vibe, just like the song ^^
I suppose that's the main of what I wanted to say?
So I hope that y'all enjoy this thing, and I wish you all a very good day/night!
(Jeez I'm just going about writing these videos up and making them public late at night now owo'')
(Oooh and random fact but my favorite part of the song is 2:49-3:14 :3)
Also also!! Thank you all sooooo much for 300+ subs!! Thank you all for your support, I really appreciate it and it means a lot :3
I was extremely low on ideas for what to do once I reach 300 subs (like what kind of video I could even make for y'all as a thank you), but still! I do really appreciate y'all sticking around and checking out the things I make and giving your thoughts ^^
