In this video and the previous one, SRM is used to edit the "spawn parameter" of actors. This is a general variable that all actors have, chests happen to use it to store what item is inside and so by editing the spawn parameter we change the chest contents.
In general, due to the technicalities of the trick, it seemed for a while that in order to edit the spawn parameter, there had to be at least 2 of that actor in the current room. I recently discovered that we can bypass this check by loading the room with the actors we're editing on the same frame we catch the boomerang. So here I'm doing exactly that.
This actually opens up a lot more possibilities. The coordinates in this tunnel line up nicely so that the items we can get from the chest here are:
-Red potion
-Green potion
-Blue potion
-Bottled fairy
-Lon Lon milk
-Ruto's Letter
-Magic bean
-Skull Mask
-Spooky Mask
This also means we can perform GIM on those chest items, since luckily for us there is water in ice cavern. From GIM, we can get:
-Deku Stick
-Fire arrow
-Zelda's Letter
-Pocket Egg
Here is a slightly outdated document about using SRM to move stuff around (rather than change chest contents) by Fig, it's gonna get updated later tonight (or soonish at some point) to include the new stuff

I used a different cutscene this time! This is a bit quicker than the last one :) Blue Potion Bottle in Zoras Domain [Take Two]](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/K6eUYQ2zANA/mqdefault.jpg)

![[TAS] Task 6 - Swamp Spiders
This was my entry to task 6 of Eumeuss TAS competition. The goal was to enter the swamp spiderhouse and collect 8 skulltulas. I took 2nd place with this time of 33.33 seconds.
To setup, I get to 1 heart and get stored SoT. I also get bomb crap which is the same concept in the following video, but with bombs: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C9x0XQG5ZiY - this allows me to keep bombs after using song of time.
I then enter the spiderhouse and leave it, to set my spawn there. I hover just above the edge of the plane of water. I turn goron and pull the powder keg just as he touches water. This causes him to drown but the powder keg never actually touches the water. As a result, I respawn outside the spiderhouse as human with a keg. From that point onwards, I just have to wait for the fuse to nearly run out, and then I can go in for my instant recoil flip.
The rest should be relatively understandable. I use damage to interrupt the hookshot on a token in the 2nd room, allowing it to be collected instantly. I also use song of time to heal after killing myself in the 3rd room. This gives me timestop so that I can roll into both pots and stack the cutscenes to save time. The timestop mechanic can be seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hh_pzGBPpXM

[Documentation of the action swap double shot]
Read description v
Heyy, so Eumeus uploaded a video of him melting the goron elder for 100%, where he shoots two action swap lit arrows: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3T1i5gVE5Ro&t=0s
In his video he does a bunch of pause buffering to get the two shots, but there is a non-documented quirk with action swap where if you do a Z-targeted attack after shooting an action swap arrow, it will shoot a second one.
I show you two, firstly a regular stick slash one, and then a sidehop jumpslash one.
The sidehop jumpslash one is almost certainly better! with the normal slash, you can sometimes accidentally slash the stick without shooting which just fucks everything up. The jumpslash one is 100% safe!
To do it, you charge up an arrow, hold Ztarget, let go of the arrow and then do the attack (with the sidehop method you can just charge the arrow, Ztarget, sidehop and then mash the stick button and its always consistent) Action Swap the Goron Elder (Eumeus idea) with Double Arrow Shot](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/LW513yppfiM/mqdefault.jpg)
