James Bangura and Om Unit’s Rushing 1621 campaign comes to a close with another pair of remixes – again leaning on their hometowns of Bristol and the DMV area.
Amy Kisnorbo’s releases on Pineapple have been some of our favourite club records of late, drawing from electro, ghetto-tech, booty-house and more with FUN permanently at the forefront. She – comparatively, anyway – slows things down on this one, with a stripped back but bouncy take on ‘The Page’.
On the other side, James Bangura’s Black Rave Culture teammate Amal takes on ‘Angles’, going deep and dubby in a way that gives us welcome flashbacks to the late-2000s' dubstep-techno crossover moment.
