This song was written by Gene Cotton and recorded by William "Oliver" Swofford in 1981 and was released along with another Christmas song titled "The 184th Crossing" on a 45 record. The songs were never released on an LP and therefore were not widely distributed. This is a beautiful song of peace at Christmastime.
