“One of the most mysterious legends the IceWings have is their legend of the Great Ice Dragon. For some, its memory is clearer, but for most, it's identity has been lost to time despite remaining a dominant mythical figure in their folklore. Every year, the IceWings celebrate the Great Ice Dragon with gifts and celebrations. Some say they were a mysterious figure that appeared one day. Some say they were the very first animus who made the IceWings what they are. They say that the Great Ice Dragon’s gift was to protect and keep the IceWings safe and that they give each other gifts to honour the gift that the Great Ice Dragon had given them.”

RULES:
1. THIS IS A THEMED MAP. The MAP is centred around the Great Ice Dragon, but not exclusively. Centre it around IceWings and the Ice Kingdom and that's really it. The Great Ice Dragon is up to interpretation at the moment, so go nuts. There will be more of an emphasis on environments, atmosphere, and set pieces rather than characters.
2. OCS ARE ALLOWED. OCs are allowed for this MAP as long as they're IceWings. I'm flexible on this, so it can be something like an IceWing explaining a tradition to a non-IceWing. As long as it fits within the theme.
3. THIS MAP IS NOT FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE. I will be expecting some examples of your art and animation capabilities, and then once I see them, I'll decide if you get the part or not.
4. MAXIMUM TWO PARTS EACH. Ideally, I would like one part per person, but if you’re feeling particularly ambitious, I will allow you to have two, depending on my assessment of your capabilities. But no more than two.

XxWindpawxX 2024-04-01 | Happy April Fools! Had this idea for a while, but I missed the deadline last year, so I did this in a haste to have it ready for this year, so here you go! Something fun and light-hearted for April.

RULES:
THIS IS A SPOOF MAP. This doesn't mean I'm not expecting effort to be put into it, but don't take it too seriously and try to just have fun with it. There isn't a specific script, but the setting is that Darkstalker and Clearsight are at dinner and Darkstalker realizes that she's actually the crazy one in the relationship. That's the basics of it, have fun with it.
THIS MAP IS NOT FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE. However, I will be a bit more beginner friendly with this one compared to some of my other MAPs, so hopefully this should be fun.

Unravel - Wings of Fire Clearsight MAP Call (2/31 OPEN)

1. MAP IS PRIMARILY A PMV, BUT SOME PARTS SHOULD BE ANIMATED. I’m not gonna be too harsh or picky with this, but it would be nice to see some people animate some parts. Primarily some parts that have to do with lip-syncing. It’s not a hard and fast rule, just something I would like and prefer seeing. But overall, just do your best with what you know you can do. All parts must be 1080x1920 pixels or 720x1280 pixels. No watermarks.
2. THIS MAP IS NOT FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE. I will be expecting some examples of your art and animation capabilities, and then once I see them, I’ll decide if you get the part or not. I’m going to be much pickier this time. There will also be a thumbnail contest for participants and spectators.
3. FOLLOW THE REFERENCES PROVIDED. Don’t follow them too exactly, especially if you’re animating them. Simplify the designs if you feel you need to, I completely understand. The colours and notes on the designs of significant characters should be followed pretty closely, but you don’t have to draw every single scale is my point. Saveable references can be found here. Simplify or complicate the designs to your comfort.
4. HAVE THE LYRICS CLEARLY VISIBLE IN YOUR MAP. It should all be the same font (Josefin Sans). Incorporate it into your part as cleanly as you can. Also, account for an extra second at the beginning and end of your part to make transitions and the editing easier on me.

Interlude IV - Wings of Fire COMPLETE Clearsight & Fathom 48 Hour Animatic MAP

XxWindpawxX 2022-11-18 | This is an AU where Fathom never discovers the secret text hidden in Darkstalker's scroll and never realizes the extents of what he's done. He never finds out what happened to Indigo and he blames Clearsight for what happened to Darkstalker and Pearl for his miserable life. So, after Clearsight and Fathom have a fight in the aftermath of Darkstalker's imprisonment, Fathom leaves her to usurp his sister, following in Darkstalker's footsteps out of anger and rage.
