It's true.
Problem with New Bundles is they don't show all the items in a bundle. This means you must stop, pause, then check the bundle to see if you can scroll to retrieve an item. This is bad as it takes more time then simply dumping all the items and checking.
Since you can no longer dump all the items on the ground as of 24w36a, this means even if you know that the item is in the bundle but can't scoll to it, it is still slower (by virtual of it being more clicks to use) than the old bundle method.
