Hanli Prinsloo – Freediving and a Deeper Ocean Connection – Harvest Nature 2019
updated
Drawing on her work supporting women through all stages of life, Nikki unpacks common yet often overlooked issues such as prolapse and incontinence, reframing breath, movement and moments of solitude as powerful tools for restoring balance in the body.
She also shares why the pelvic floor should be understood as a web-like diaphragm that requires both release and engagement, not simply Kegels, and highlights the importance of pelvic health physiotherapy, biofeedback technology, and evidence-based care.
The conversation expands beyond women’s health to include men’s pelvic health, postpartum recovery, and the value of a whole-body approach to long-term wellbeing.
Listen now on the Harvest Series Podcast, available on Spotify, Apple and YouTube.
Her work celebrates the healing power of nature, joy and collective expression, bringing people together in song, movement and shared imagination.
We look forward to welcoming Sara this May in Kaplankaya!
Together, they unpack why so many women experience prolapse and incontinence and why we need to move beyond silence and stigma. Nikki explains how the pelvic floor functions as a dynamic diaphragm within the body, shaped by breath, posture, and movement, and why true strength comes from coordination and awareness rather than endless Kegels. An honest, science-led exploration of a topic that affects all women (and men!) and deserves far more attention than it is currently given.
Listen now on Spotify, Apple, YouTube, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Together, they unpack the myths around Kegels, the difference between tight and weak pelvic floors, and how shame and silence can delay care. The episode also reflects on aging, independence, sexuality, and the importance of restoring dignity and understanding to this essential aspect of health.

Satish shares a radically simple question: What if a beautiful life was one that everyone on Earth could afford to live?
If you’ve ever felt trapped between the pressure to “have more” and a quiet longing to live more simply and honestly, this episode is an invitation to slow down, listen deeply, and consider what true wealth might mean in your own life.
We can’t wait to welcome Satish as our honorary guest for Harvest Chapter 10 this May.
Justin shares how collaboration, vulnerability, and play sit at the heart of his creative process. He reflects on why he never wanted creativity to belong only to the “gifted,” and how treating art as a daily practice, rather than a destination, can change the way we move through our lives.
This conversation is an invitation to listen more closely: to the instincts in your body, the ideas that arrive when you’re not trying, and the surprising ways music can say what words cannot.

This week, our host Rose Claverie is joined –by the piano–by Justin Levine, an award-winning composer, arranger, and music supervisor whose work on Moulin Rouge! and The Outsiders has reimagined what musical storytelling can be.
From childhood days spent soaking up his parents’ piano playing, to late nights building Broadway scores, Justin reveals how creativity is born in small, imperfect moments.
Listen as Justin shares the family memories that shaped his musical ear, the courage it takes to collaborate without ego, and why he believes creativity should belong to everyone - not just those who are naturally gifted or professionals whose work requires them to tap into their creativity.
Through live performances and stories from the rehearsal room, this conversation is a powerful reminder that music, vulnerability, and play can shift how we move through the world.
The full episode is available now on Spotify, Apple, YouTube, or wherever you listen to podcasts.
Levine shares how creativity should exist beyond productivity, why vulnerability is essential in collaboration, and how major works like Moulin Rouge! are built through trust, humility, and collective vision. He also reflects on courage, leadership, and learning to let creativity exist without judgment.
What happens when we stop asking creativity to justify itself and allow it to simply be part of how we live?

A former professional hip-hop dancer, Gil’s journey evolved into an exploration of the dialogue between motion and the human psyche. Today, through Amenti, he invites people of all ages to rediscover what it means to inhabit their own form — through workshops, performances, and experiences that bridge emotion and embodiment.
We were deeply moved by Amenti’s daily workshops at Harvest Kaplankaya Chapter 9, which reminded us of the beauty in moving as one. This conversation offers a glimpse into the container Amenti so gracefully curates during live workshops.

We recently chatted with Schumacher College alumna Sarah Hawkins who shared reflections on a moment where she shared a speech by systems thinker Donella Meadows,.
“In her 1994 Down to Earth speech, Donella Meadows invited listeners to imagine a sustainable world—not just how it works, but how it feels. In a corporate setting, she dared to speak from the heart.
Recently, I played that same speech to a room of professionals and asked them to imagine a sustainable city. Visions poured out - from South London as a rainforest to communities led by matriarchal wisdom. The ideas were bold and beautiful, but what struck me most was the energy in the room: electric, alive, and connected.
For a brief moment, we created space to breathe, to dream, and to reconnect—with each other, and with the world we want to build. It was a glimpse of what's possible when imagination meets shared values.”

Why does this matter? Because the story of social media offers a mirror for what’s unfolding with AI. Just as we allowed platforms such as Instagram to become as much part of our lives as brushing our teeth in the morning, we now stand at a similar crossroads with technology that learns, predicts, and creates alongside us.

This week, our host Rose Claverie sits down for an intimate conversation with poet Rupi Kaur, a luminous voice who has brought global attention to themes that are too often left unspoken, from menstruation and aging to female infanticide and immigration.
Rupi, the internationally bestselling author and illustrator of four feminist poetry collections, reflects on her journey from rising to fame at a young age through her early poems, navigating the weight of comparison, and how she channeled those challenges into a source of creative power.
Born in Punjab, India, and raised in Canada, she has become a voice for those who have felt the ache of displacement and the search for belonging. In this interview, Rupi’s experiences are felt beyond her words.
