Proof is in the Pudding is an IRL series of whiteboard sessions hosted by zkSecurity Co-founder and Archetype Research Advisor, David Wong.
Each session, David gives a 201-level lecture about the in’s and out’s of cryptography and ZK, followed by a group discussion.
In Session 07, David explores offchain public keys, a realm he refers to as “the other dark forest.” David starts by explaining zkLogin, where he touches on an issue he will keep coming back to—unlinkability in privacy protocols. He then gets into client-side proving, explains other uses like ZK Email and ZKPassport, and closes this session out with an overview of signature verification, selective disclosure, and why replacing verifications of signatures with ZKPs might yield the most interesting ZK products.
