A quick video I made when I got the Shiny Charm in Let's Go Eevee! Meet my starter Eevee, Eden!
Filling a PokeDex that only has 150 Pokemon in it seems so easy today, but I remember back in Red & Blue it seemed awfully hard! I remember many trips back to the Safari Zone to catch Kangaskhan, Chansey, and Tauros! But today you even have Pokemon GO to transfer Pokemon from, so it is very easy to get some of the exclusives like Oddish.
Once you've caught'em all, go visit Prof. Oak! He will give you the Shiny Charm which increases the rate that shiny Pokemon will appear. To be honest I was a bit disappointed as he did not have much to say. I also pay a visit to the GAME FREAK office in Celadon City to get that sweet certificate! ... and a FRESH WATER!
This was before I got my direct feed recording device, otherwise everything would look much nicer.
