I happened to be called by Jan, the bass, when the baritone part was missing and therefore my part was recorded at that time, together with the video. From then on many multitrackers have attempted to record the missing parts and sometime, when they succeeded they retreated for some reason. Just recently Jan and me got to know Jonathan, the tenor who kindly accepted to be part of the project and after the very last surprise of the switching of the lead in the last weeks we finally made it thanks to Dan, my Swedish friend who learned his part at the speed of light. This song might not be perfect in quality and the singers not famous but it's the dream of an international collaboration on an amazing song coming true. (Julie is from the US, and Mirko from Italy, currently residing in Sweden.) The two have never met, but have become connected through the YouTube a cappella community.This is their version of MLK as sung by Vocal Spectrum. We have been putting down the four parts practically simultaneously but with some slight differences in few chords. I cannot compare the two results because of the evident differences between an amateur like me and "The Master Of Barbershop Multitracking on the Tube". Il Libro della Giungla-La canzone degli avvoltoi (Jungle Book-The vultures song) Mirko Conti (Mirk0) 2012-05-27 | Disney's animated film spread almost all over the world and each country has got his own version of famous dialogues and Soundtracks . "That's what friends are for", in the Italian version of the vultures song from the cartoon "Jungle Book" sounds more or less like : Siamo tuoi amici (We are your friends). I here propose an Italian four parts version from FRED's arrangement (the jungle book medley; pure barbershop with a classic tag). The video multitrack was inspired by the vultures choreography but is strictly connected to the meaning of the Italian lyrics.If I would literally translate the lyrics back to English it would go like this:We are here, here for you, we are the friends that are good for you.If you want someone with you, someone who pulls you up when you are downAnd when you are sad and eager to confide to someone, here we are!!And don't get desperate if you're bored, here we are!You will face the adversity because you know we are on your side, Friends like us no one can do without , we love every creature.Now you know, we are truly friends and you can remain in the jungle as long as you like, because we are here , with you.

An 1887edition for male quartet (TTBB) contains some possible hints of the crossover influences that were shaping the contours of close harmony at that time. How to Make a Video Multitrack Tag - The Big Rock Candy Mountains Mirko Conti (Mirk0) 2012-01-21 | This "Tutorial" was a funny video editing experience that my daughter Chiara and me wanted to share with all YouTubers.The original Tag "The Big Rock Candy Mountais" comes from the homonymous song first recorded by Harry McClintock in 1928, a song about a hobo's idea of paradise, a modern version of the medieval concept of Cockaigne. In 2000, the song was included in the popular soundtrack for the movie O Brother, Where Art Thou? The movie brought the song to a modern audience. The version in the film, sung by Harry McClintock, includes the original references to "cigarette trees," "streams of alcohol," and the lake of whiskey as well (Wikipedia). HP commercial inspired us for the video composition. The background music is "Blister in the Sun" featuring by "Nouvelle Vague". Have fun.

It is the song I sang for my audition to be accepted in a fantastic Swedish choir: The Entertainmen. I sang it as Baritone with 3 amazing singers of the choir and that's why, I guess, they took me in ; ) .
