The software being used for this demonstration is Patternmaster version 5 by Wild Ginger Software. I chose this software because it is very robust and affordable to the home sewer at about $225. If you will be developing and printing your own patterns for your own home (or workroom) use, this is a very affordable option. The more commercial counterpart to Patternmaster is Cameo. Cameo is "commercial" in that it can import/export industry standard .dxf format (which is compatible with the other industry programs) and also has modules for grading, markers, yields, etc. Cameo is still a very affordable option as a commercial level software starting at only $950 for the main Pattern Design module.
