I guess this is due to the combination of this premium look and the low price.There’s nothing special about this box, or its contents. Unfortunately, it comes with a micro-USB cable instead of type-c connector. There is an audio cable, which can be nice if you run out of battery or wish to enjoy full audio quality.The build is robust, and the padding feels good.You will find all the buttons and the headphone jack on the right earcup.The dual microphone performance is acceptable, you can make phone calls with these but not in a too noisy environment.The plastic is flexible enough and doesn’t feel like it will break easily, in addition it sits pretty comfortable on the head.As usual for JBL, these can be compactly folded, which is a nice touch.The Bluetooth sound quality is good, but the wired sound quality is even better.There’s no active noise canceling in this pair, but the cushions do a good job isolating your ears from the world.The battery life is very good and it charges quickly. It’s a budget model by JBL.According to the package-text, this wireless headset features JBL’s signature sound, Bluetooth multipoint, a built-in microphone, and voice assistant integration all for under $50 USD. But it is not without flaws.I find the headset to be pretty uncomfortable, since the ear pads rest on the ears rather than around them. This also makes it unpleasant to wear with glasses. The ear cups are surrounded by a wrinkly fabric that makes sounds if I move, which can detract from the listening experience.This pair of JBL headphones houses controls on the right ear cup. There are volume controls, identified with plus and minus icons.The headset also has integrated support for voice assistants like Siri or Google, you can activate the assistant by pressing the multi-function button twice.The microphone performed surprisingly well, both in quiet and in a noisy environment.The JBL Tune 510BT, connects using Bluetooth 5. As such, it comes in a premium package.Inside the large cardboard box, we get this very nice plastic box and a snugly fitted another small box with our local version power cable.The Plastic box is slick like a suitcase and contains the laptop, some papers, and the 65-Watt, type-c charger.So far this is the prettiest package I have seen from Dell, and I have unboxed many laptops in my days. The graphite-carbon finish is smooth and pleasant, and it has this beautiful metallic shine all around.On the right side we get a single USB type A port and air vent. On the back there’s nothing but two small air grills. And on the left-side we got the headset jack, SD card slot, 2 thunderbolt 4 ports, HDMI port and a lock hole. Thus far everything is modest and standard for a business Ultrabook. On the bottom side, there’s just the fan grill and a smooth plate. By the sides of the standard backlit dell keyboard, we get nice stereo speakers with very good audio quality for a laptop.On the top of the screen we have windows-hello compatible camera without a shutter, and an impressive microphone array.There is a fingerprint reader built-in the power button. The keyboard is soft and pleasant, and the keys are conveniently spaced.The touchpad is large and responsive, but as usual with dell, you need some practice to be able to right-click properly.Since this is a 2-in-1 laptop, this QHD glossy screen can be turned around and used in a kind of perverted tablet mode. As you can see, the screen is highly reflective and it was hard to get a good filming angle for you, but it responds well to the touch, and you can also buy the optional bulky Dell Active Pen which can magnetically snap to the left side of the laptop for you to feel even cooler. This laptop can be easily opened by loosening 8 screws on the back, but you will probably get disappointed when you realize how limited your upgrade options are.It comes with intel Core i7-1265U cpu, 32 Gigabytes of soldered LPDDR5 ram.While it supports the Gen4 NVME speeds, it comes with Gen3 1TB class 35 drive. The rubber strap is flexible and the buckle is great to ensure this will not fall from your hand, like it often happened with other mi band models.The magnetic charging cable can only connect in one way and will not let you to connect it wrongly.The charging speed is relatively quick.This global version band, has many popular languages, including Russian and Hebrew.The AMOLED screen is bright and crisp, and the user interface is responsive and looks colorful and pretty. According to the specs, this band has built-in GPS, Alexa digital assistant and NFC payment feature.The sport tracking features work fine and there are many watch faces to choose from. And how do I know it?Look how the touchpad is raised and the bottom cover has this little gap and does not fully close any more. You can just feel the battery pushing at the plastic.I got a new battery from amazon, and it’s a 5-minute job to replace it.First, unscrew these 8 screws.Oh look at this fatty… It looks like its ready to pop.Right. Lets detach the power cable and unscrew 2 screws and take it out.And here’s my brand new 60Watt battery. Its important to say that dell have this dirty trick, they never supply this little cable with the new battery, so you have to keep your old cable, and not throw it out by mistake. It’s the last year’s Dell Latitude 7420 with 11th generation intel core i7 processor!It’s a plain cardboard box. Inside we only get this travel charger, the laptop and some papers.This pc feels well-made and robust, and the carbon cover looks sleek.On the right side we have the sim tray, SD card slot, USB type-c port, single usb type-a, HDMI and a lock hole.On the rear side we only have this air vent and these nice hinges.On the left side we have another type-c port, an air grill and a headphone jack.Pretty modest I would say.And this is the standard type-c 65 watts travel charger. Not much to say about it.As I open the lid, we see that the screen bezels are pleasantly slim. The keyboard is nicely sized and soft and comfortable to use. The touchpad looks nice and big but the right click and left click are not great, and you will need some practice to learn how to press it properly.There’s nothing of interest on the plastic back cover. Removing it is easy, just unscrew these 8 standard Philips screws, and it opens. No need to scratch the laptop with prying tools, like with Lenovo for example.Inside we got this large, 4-cell, 63 watt lithium battery. If you keep the laptop on constant power, this will almost certainly swell up pretty quickly.Just like with all the other recent latitude models, this one also disappoints with built-in, soldered, non-upgradable ram.Its nice that you can still upgrade the NVME storage and, perhaps, add a cellular modem. But that sums up all your upgrade options. By default this comes with windows 10 pro and it takes only a few minutes to get it working.Its very nice to see this infra-red proximity camera with Windows hello support and the nifty privacy shutter.In total, the laptop is well built and looks good. How to replace fans on Sapphire Vapor X AMD Radeon R9 280x and most GPUs techgurl 2022-05-21 | So I found this old Radeon R9 280x VaporX edition GPU. This used to be one of the best video cards on the market, and I mined a nice amount of bitcoin back in the jolly 2013...It still works great but one of the fans stopped spinning. I ordered replacement fans and I am now going to show you how to install them.First unscrew these 4 screws on the back. Then, unscrew the 2 small screws on the back panel.Remove the fans power plug and then separate the cooling unit from the main board.Wipe the old thermal paste with dry paper first, then wipe it some more with alcohol until its spit-shine clean.Unscrew 4 more screws to separate the fans from the radiator.One of these fans powers the led-logo, so unfortunately it will have to go.Notice how the fans are installed and wired, you will need to install the new fans exactly the same way.Unplug the cables and unscrew the old fans. Microsoft Modern USB C Speaker versus Jabra Speak 510 Which speaker is best techgurl 2022-05-05 | So here is the brand new, Modern USB-C speaker.Just like the rest of these modern accessories, so is this speaker very nicely packed in this hard nifty box.On the package it say that this speaker has:- Mute button with indicator light- Noise reduction microphone- voice-optimized sound- compact design with cable management- MS Teams certified.It comes with this lovely, tight-fit, hard case with Microsoft logo in the center.Oh look how it rises when you open the box. That’s a cool packaging gimmick, I like it.So the speaker is small indeed. It has 5 buttons of different sizes. I would prefer they make the answer-calls button large instead of the teams button, but maybe I am missing something here.The cable is hidden underneath this rubber bottom. It is longer than I expected.Its nice that this bottom part gets a good grip of your desk, effectively improving the sound resonance.But on the other hand, it catches dust like crazy.When it comes to sound, It works great for voice, but to test music performance I decided to compare it with 2 other speakers.This is the sound we get from the default Lenovo ThinkPad X270 speakers.Pretty lame I would say.Now lets check how it sounds with the modern speaker.Much better no doubt.And now lets hear this same track with the Jabra Speake 510.It’s definitely better than the default speaker, but not as good as the modern speaker.I am impressed.Let’s try them again side-by-side.Clearly Microsoft is a better choice for music between these two. Compared to Jabra, the modern speaker sound smoother and more pleasant.So to summarize, Microsoft has done a good job here,The speaker is small, it has a nice case, the sound quality is good and the buttons are convenient.But it has no battery and no Bluetooth.Why can’t Microsoft just do a perfect product for a change, which has everything?Why every item they make, has some sort of a compromise? It means that teams software will prioritize this headset over any other connected audio device. In addition, it has the teams buttons which helps you quickly control the teams-software.Inside this lovely package besides the headset, we also get the USB dongle and the type-c charging cable. Unfortunately, you cannot use the cable to transmit audio and turn these into a wired headphones.The headband is adjustable and the padding is comfortable on the ears, like any other decent headset.You can pair this set with up to 2 Bluetooth devices and with your computer using the usb-dongle, all simultaneously. The switching between the devices sometimes happens quick, and sometimes it takes a few seconds to switch.These earphones are very pretty and feel high quality.On the right side we got the volume control, which is completely smooth to the touch. According to official specs, It takes approximately 2 hours for this headset to charge and it can deliver up to 50 hours of music or 30 hours of talk-time. While this headset is very elegant and pretty, unfortunately, the sound quality is simply bad when it comes to listening to music. The microphone quality is not very good either. So if these things are important to you I would suggest buying something else. For comparison, the wired-modern headset microphone quality is better than these.But if you talking on teams all day and wish to look cool while doing it, these are perfect!

Jabra Stealth Talk 45 from AliExpress WATCH BEFORE YOU BUY! techgurl 2022-04-17 | Take a look at this Jabra Stealth Talk 45 Bluetooth headset.I got it from AliExpress for a suspiciously low price.This earpiece is available in two colors, all-black and this, silver one.I like the slim design and the light-weight, it feels pretty solid and robust.This metal-lookin part looks cool too.Its unfortunate it still uses micro-USB port instead of type-C.Looking closer, we got the power switch and two more buttons.According to product page this headset supposed to deliver superior comfort, HD quality sound and a noise canceling microphone. In addition, it should activate Siri and Google Now by tapping a dedicated button directly on the headset.But unfortunately, after some testing, none of these promises seem to be true.While the sound is exceptionally loud, the quality is not HD at all. I have cheaper headsets which sound much better. The microphone quality is not great either and if there is some noise canceling here, its not so noticeable.The dedicated google assistant button, does not launch any assistant feature, instead it just reduces the volume or something unclear. Not useful at all.When it comes to comfort, its also not so great. The speaker is very wide and may hurt some smaller ears. The optional ear hook is hard plastic and may be ok for small ears, but it just hurt mine and totally unusable.Overall, this earpiece is good if you want to look cool without paying much while listening to some youtube. Its unfortunate it still uses micro USB cable instead of type-C. You can make regular phone-calls either via the built-in speaker or with a Bluetooth headsetAlthough the user manual is in English, its not always easy to understand.The watch is thicker than I expected but its not too thick. There are 2 similar models of this watch, the H1 and the W5. They look slightly different but according to seller, the functionality is identical.There are 2 cameras, which seem to have disappointing identical quality.The 1080 mili-amps battery can be easily replaced if needed. Underneath the battery we got the sim and the SD card slots.This watch supports many different languages, including Hebrew, just like any regular android would. The keyboard on this watch is so tiny, that I had to pair a Bluetooth mouse to operate it without cursing all the time. I have no idea how to easily control media volume here, so if you have a clue please write it in the comment bellow. The google play store works fine and you can download and install almost any app.Google Photos and google maps work well, including location sharing. But the GPS accuracy is not so great. Whatsap works well too, but I was not able to use it with whatsap web because the tiny screen cannot seem to render the QR code page properly.Youtube also works not bad here and the video playback is smooth.The cameras are pretty bad, and while the seller claims its HD quality, the images are small and nowhere near HD quality.The mobile companion app is not very good either. It comes in this beautiful hard blue box. There’s not a single word in English on this box. Just Chinese.The kit is very elegantly packed. Here we got this metal stand, the shaver itself, a usb type-c cable and a small cleaning brush. Disappointingly, the user-manual is entirely in Chinese as well. I look at the pictures and try to guess what they mean…The shaver is very well built, it feels solid and high quality. There are two charging ports, one for travel and another for the stand. The blades look very nice and adjustable to your face.Here we got the power button and the mode button, to chose one of the 3 available modes.I guess these are low, medium and high. Can’t say for sure with that Chinese user-manual.This is my first ever electric shaver so I have nothing to compare it with. But I would say its relatively quiet and it shaves OK. Its nowhere near a regular razor but its good enough.Unfortunately there’s no corner cutter blade. But with some practice you can do without.Its fun to snap-on and off the magnetic cover. Basically it’s a wifi power controller for the water boiler.The main difference between V4 and the previous versions, is that this one need to be installed under the “tiah”. I like the flat slick design, it does look nicer than the older models.On the back, We still got 2 inns and 2 outs. But the order is not the same as in Switcher V2, so pay attention here, if you unsure how to do it, just get an electrician.The screws look nice and golden. Will this prevent rust? We shall see in a few years…This is dual-polar, wifi-controlled power switch and its very good for the “dud”.It looks very simple under the touch panel.I like this minimalistic design, but I think that for this relatively high price they could have added a nice LCD screen with maybe some basic informations.This device only supports wifi 2.4 band and not wifi 5.The application pairing process was quick and easy.With the app you can set a work-schedule or see history. This app can also measure the electricity usage and produce monthly report.This can also be controlled by google home or alexa!Overall, I love this thing. Its a very nice product.
