So I brought this as my first project to see how much easier it is for me to make some of my own USTs from scratch. It worked well!

This is the Vietnamese version of the well known song Scarborough Fair. Its interesting that the Vietnamese version actually uses the French version's lyrics in its song rather than their own lyrics.

【RVC Cover】Gunjou no Tani (Acoustic Version) - Takara Asune RVC AI

Roze Asune 2023-06-26 | Hi everyone, sorry for being out of commission for so long. This project was a project that I've been working on for a while originally with DIFF-SVC but unfortunately, that didn't work for me then I discovered RVC and this did wonders. This voice model is based on some acapella samples from Takara which I then placed inside the RVC program.

I also made a voice model based on all the recording samples I have of Takara from NORM to Juunen but I felt like having Takara's voice data from OPENUtau would sound more "Takara-like". Funny enough they both sounded almost the same.

Anyway here is Takara singing Gunjou no Tani (Acoustic Version) with the vocal data from alan. Hope you also like the updated drawing of Takara. I will show his full body look in the future.

【OpenUTAU Cover】Nỗi Buồn Chim Sáo – Jami Kyoufuri CVVC VIET (Vietnamese UTAU)

Roze Asune 2022-01-09 | Hi everyone!! Long time no see! I hope you are all doing well despite what is happening around the world. Today I would like to share with you one of my first usages of OpenUTAU with a traditional Vietnamese Song titled "Noi Buon Chim Sao". I used Utagoe and VocalShifter for the vocal data pitch bends before putting them into UTAU first and then to OpenUTAU which was a whole trial and error process. In the end, I am proud of it, even if it isn’t my best work. This is also the first instance of using a Vietnamese UTAU which was actually quite easier than I anticipated thanks to @janitran's spectacular work.

Another reason why I’ve decided to do this song is in tribute to the original singer of this instrumental named Phi Nhung who contracted COVID-19 while doing some charity work in Vietnam and passed away due to complications from the virus.
This project started in October and it took until January for me to feel content with the whole end-product. I hope you enjoy it.

Đây là lần đầu tiên Roze dùng OpenUTAU và cũng là lần đầu tiên mình dùng VB bằng Tiếng Việt (Cám ơn Jani rất nhiều nhé). Roze dùng giọng nói của cố ca sĩ Phi Nhung để làm UST này vì mình không có học nhạc nên không biết cách đọc nốt.

Lý do mình làm clip này là để mình có thể tưởng nhớ cố ca sĩ Phi Nhung. Gia Đình mình rất ái mộ công lao của “Hai” và rất thích giọng hát của “Hai” cho nên sự mất mát của ca sĩ Phi Nhung rất lớn đối với GĐ mình và các fan trên toàn thế giới.

Song Notes:
This song uses a variety of metaphors. The myna bird (or starlings as a whole) is often used in Vietnamese songs as a symbol of Vietnamese women under feudal rites at the time. Starlings are often kept in cages and through time get used to living in them losing their own instinctive reflexes. So when they fly off, they tend to fly back into their cages because they are not used to their natural habitat.

Myna birds/starlings in Vietnamese music accompany with lyrics mentioning rivers and cages as a symbol of women getting married with the implication of not being satisfied or against their expectations. Hence, crossing the river or a bridge is a metaphor for someone getting married based on Vietnamese rituals in the past.

Human Beryl - Speed Draw

The motif of the photo is Beryl in her Human form surrounded by the flames of Queen Metalia. Beryl stands looking at the Earth's citizens to find a way to infiltrate the moon.

Roze Asune 2014-07-26 | Hi guys, I have decided to release Takara's NORM bank. However since I've been extremely busy... there is no new official character art. orz. Thanks to all the users of Takara and the overall UTAU/VOCALOID community for making the community what it is today.

Anyway here is the new voicebank.

VB Commentary: Well the original Re:Act Voicebank was actually HIGH but I decided to include NORM into the Re:Act series too.
The name Re:Act was inspired by the famous VOCALOID song. The word comes from the word "react" but its meaning is of a combination of the prefix 're (again)' and the word ACT which is famously used in the Vocaloid and UTAU fandom nowadays.

What is NORM you may ask? Well basically NORM is "Normal" in short. The original tone of recording although he sounds a lot stronger. I've added more sounds than his original bank and my golly he sounds great with end breathes.

Translation Notes:
So-La is obviously a Japinglish version of Sora (空) meaning Sky.
戸惑い (Tomadoi) means Confusion but it can also mean "Lost at sea"... It is indeed a play on words.
大空 (Ouzora) can mean Heaven or Sky, I used Sky since it makes more sense for something to be soaring there. But in a sense, there is a play on words with that.
