villian medley credits part 17 D0VEGUM 2025-08-01 | hiit’s been a while huh? sorry for that lol i don’t think ive actually finished anything for months, i have a looot of wips though so eventually it’ll happen. thing is im moving and starting college in like a week so i won’t have endless time to animate like i did from when i was 12 til now (ive animated for more than 7 years, jesus christ)i just took this part bcs i wanted to draw this mapleshade design again, so i asked for any part w her in it and got this one. bro had a plan. making this part was a fucking disaster.firstly, could not figure out how the shade the background because nothing looked good so eventually i gave up and just decided not to shade, secondly recently ive been trying to tween with less easing curves bcs it lowkey feels like cheating to me so ive had to kind of redo how i tweened at like, 13? when i first got callipeg? which has been an experience. thirdly the sun thingy in the top left corner was set as an add layer in ibispaint but apparently callipeg doesn’t have that blending mode like at all so i had to change color and opacity and change it to hard light which was annoying. fourthly callipeg is gonna be callipeg and so shit got really laggy and the file got huge so the ending fade was a huuuge problem because i can’t stand it when it’s a tweened rig and you can see the other pieces of it when it fades out, so i had to resort to shenanigans such as merging all the layers and turning them all into separate frames, which there were a lot of because i animate on 24 fps, and that made the file crash over and over but eventually i kind of got it to work. god. callipeg implement a joint fade option i begi animate on 24 fps using callipeg, assets were drawn in ibispaint. i cannot assure you guys i’ll post regularly after this ive been kinda down in the dumps ngl

dollhouse part 17 D0VEGUM 2023-09-10 | it’s actually really fun to just make kinda shittily tweened map parts instead of worrying about rigging all the time. i should do it more so: tawnypelt.. i love her.. my babygirl.. definitely my favorite warrior cat and she has been for a while. so i joined a map about her. yeah that’s itstarted the 22th of august and finished 9th of september. no idea the actual length it took to completetweened and sketched in callipeg. cleaned up in ibispaint. edited together in capcut

creative! part 23 D0VEGUM 2023-07-21 | trying to chew off some more map parts and i just got this one finished!! i really love dhmis so i couldn’t resist joining this map hehe..i had a generally chill time working on this, altogether it took maybe 8 hours spread out during the span of 16:23 july 19’th to 03:05 july 21’th my apple pencil broke in the middle of the process so most of this was made with my finger :( i use it a lot in my art to begin with but the tweening in particular was hell because my program doesn’t fully respond to moving stuff around if it isn’t my apple pencil.. but i managed!! i used callipeg for tweening/storyboard/everything else and ibispaint to line and color the assets bye 👍
twisted part 40 D0VEGUM 2023-05-22 | i took this map part mostly because it was in my comfort zone and i had a.. time for sure with it!nothing particular to say i feel like i’m going back to my cute cut pro 2020 roots, hopefully i’m not but that’s the vibe this part gave me.. banger map concept! i’ve been reading up on the broken code and i think it’s sick that bristlefrost can see ghosts in this au, also i love this song i know all the lyrics.. started: 18:26 the 18’th of may 2023finished: 00:32 the 23’rd of may 2023altogether: fuck! uh.. around 8 hours?i used callipeg for everything besides coloring the main assets which i did in ibispaint i animated a really nice chin animation for the lipsync but when it was time to green screen in the lippies the chin became a weird off color and i had to remove it :( it was a very good chin animation and it will always rest in peace ig 7 MORE MAPS TO GO BAYBEEEE (kill me)
