KiAme To those who were waiting for this cover, sorry it took so long! This may not have been what you expected, but I'm super happy with how it turned out! I think a lot of you were probably expecting a more sad and piano focused composition, but I tend to get bored quickly when I have to write in the same style/feel for a long time and I only had 3 different melodies to work with, so I had to create some variety.

I chose to end it with the part I wrote for the animation because I felt like that one works so well as an ending. I hope you guys enjoy this!

This is one of my favorite songs by Ado and I've been wanting to sing it since I first heard it, but I wasn't confident enough with my voice back then. I really love the way Ado sings, so I took this song as a challenge to make all the little expressions and vibratos as close to the original as possible. I learned a lot through doing this and I hope y'all ejoy!!

I ended up just using the original instrumental for this one. This also lets me get covers out twice a fast because I can record vocals for a song while making the arrangement for another.

This is the instrumental for Will Stetson's cover. This was definitely one of the most challenging instrumental's I've ever done. The busy piano parts, crazy slap bass, and the constantly changing arrangement definitely gave me a run for my money but I'm pretty happy with how it turned out in the end. Spirited Away was the very first Ghibli movie I've ever seen, and it's also my favorite. This overall melody is probably my favorite theme out of any Ghibli scores. So I've been chillin in the vtuber rabbit hole for quite a while. Ever since I saw that clip of Rushia screaming her head off playing smash, I just couldn't stop lol
I was eventually inspired by how genuinely talented all the idols are in what they do and I loved all the content they put out (if only I knew Japanese, sadge). I had heard a few songs from different Hololive idols at the time, and while all of them are incredible, Ghost really stood out to me. Partially because of my bias towards rock music but also because it felt really genuine, like Suisei really poured her heart into this song, so I knew I wanted to make a cover of it. I was a really big fan of Seven Deadly Sins during season 1 and 2, but then after seeing all the clips of the awful animation from season 3, I kind of dropped it. I didn't know about this song until Matteo commissioned me to make an instrumental for him (I'll link his video when it goes up). I ended up really liking the song and decided to make my own cover of it. If the newer seasons turn out to be good, then I'll consider picking it up again!

Since this was a commission for Matteo, I pretty much tried to recreate the original arrangement as close as possible. I'm a big fan of Hiroyuki Sawano, so I really enjoyed remaking his work. This was overall not too hard of a song to cover, but I had a lot of fun with it. I hope you guys enjoy!

This was one of the first songs I've ever heard by Aimer and it got me into her music right away. Aside from her unique soothing voice, I also absolutely love the melodies that she writes.

I stuck pretty close to the original arrangement for this one. I added bass, some extra acoustic guitars, and changed up the guitar solo a bit, but everything else is kind of the same. The vocals were in a bit of a difficult range, but I think I've gotten much more used to it, so I'm quite happy with how it turned out. I included the backing vocals in what was supposed to be the instrumental because I felt like they're so essential to the arrangement.

Japanese Lyrics - 桃茶/Táo chá

I found this song through a Japanese cover of it made by a YouTube musician named Kano, which is kind of ironic because I'm Chinese myself lol. I really liked the melody and the lyrics and found the original Chinese version.

The song is quite simple in terms of arrangement so I wanted to make it a bit more exciting. I approached it as a sort of mix between TK and RADWIMPS. The vocals are also in a good range for me so I had a lot of fun singing this.

Sorry it took so long to get the instrumental out for this cover. I usually include it in the same video as the full version but I wanted to get the video out in time for the instagram event (which I ended up missing anyways).

This arrangement was hugely inspired by Polyphia and I had a lot of fun writing the riffs. I haven't had much experience writing hip hop so the trap beats took me a while to get right, but I'm quite happy with how it turned out!

I don't think I've ever seen an anime that made me feel so ass as Re:Zero did, but it's also my favorite isekai of all time. It's so unique and so different from all the power fantasy isekai's out there that have been beaten to death. So ngl, at the time of uploading this, I haven't actually seen season 2 lol I usually wait til a season finishes airing and then binge watch it so I don't have to wait. I'm super excited to see where the story is going.

This song was one of the most vocally challenging songs I've ever covered. The only other contender is Unravel. But I think I've improved drastically since my cover of Unravel and I have a much better feel of how to sing in the super high ass blast range, so I'm honestly pretty happy with how this turned out. Arrangement-wise, I didn't stray too far from the original. There were only two parts where I wrote new parts. One is the riff at 1:48, and the other at the very end. Anyways, hope you enjoy!
