Lake Missoula Flood: A Message of Catastrophe NW Creation Network 2024-01-26 | A little-known two-day flood event during the ice age carved canyons in solid basalt in in eastern Washington, forming the Grand Coulee (Banks Lake), Dry Falls (three times larger than Niagara Falls), destroying thousands of square miles of fertile land (the Scablands), changing the course of the Palouse River and forming the spectacular Palouse Falls, deepening and widening the Columbia River Gorge and depositing fertile eastern Washington soil in the Willamette Valley. The scale of the destruction is much more significant than the eruption of Mt. St. Helens. It doesn’t take millions of years to change the geology. Does this have a bearing on how features like the Grand Canyon formed? Does it take millions of years to significantly alter the surface of the earth? A Critique of William Lane Craigs Quest for the Historical Adam NW Creation Network 2023-02-28 | Many of the world’s leading scientists believe that the world is billions of years old. Dr. Fernandes shows that this contradicts the clear teaching of the Bible. Christian leaders throughout the history of the church have literally interpreted the first eleven chapters of Genesis. The Witness of Fossils: Evolution or the Flood? NW Creation Network 2022-06-23 | Secular geologists have rejected Biblical history and assert that there has been no global flood as described in Genesis. But vast quantities of fossils and sedimentary rock provide a monumental testimony to this historical event and God's recent judgment. Sexual Reproduction: Evolution’s Decisive Downfall – God’s Decisive Design NW Creation Network 2022-04-07 | Plant and animal sexual reproduction scientifically it defies logic - how it could have "spontaneously" arisen. Do we Have a Climate Crisis? We will see that scientific bias against catastrophism in recent years has caused erroneous interpretations of obvious geologic features. In addition, numerous examples of fossils are provided that defy interpretation in support of the theory of evolution. Formerly, Chris was a biology research technician specialized in plant tissue culture and genetic transformation technology. He was employed at the Cotton Fiber Production Laboratory at Texas Tech University and the Plant Transformation Facility at Oklahoma State University, and lastly was the Plant Transformation Specialist for EDEN Bioscience in Bothell Washington.He obtained a Bachelor of Science in biology from Wayland Baptist University in 1989, a Master of Science in biology from Texas Tech University in 1996, a Master of Education from the University of Washington in 2008, and a Master is Teaching Math and Science from Seattle Pacific University in 2012.Chris moved from research science into the teaching profession to serve God in Christian education. His decision was motivated by the impact that secular science is having on people of faith. Today, close to 50% of Christian students lose their belief in God while attending secular schools. This tendency could be lessened if the Church was better equipped to defend the authority of Biblical teachings (1 Peter 3:15).
