After almost 2 hours of sitting through speakers, and people walking up and getting their diplomas, we were almost done until it was announced that we had one more speaker. Senator Chuck Schumer walked up to one hell of a mixed reaction - there was cheering and applause, but it felt like that was quickly overtaken by a blanket of boos. Between people being bored, and some people disliking his politics, I am not at all surprised. Note I am not commenting on whether I agree with the booing or not, I am just reporting what I witnessed.
