And every year, we seem to pick a terrible Netflix movie because we keep trying to follow the trends. This year was no exception.Everyone was talking about Hot Frosty! And since we love Lacey Chabert (Mean Girls), we decided to give it a try. Wrong move. There was barely anything to chew on and nothing happened. But heck, we had fun making it. But that Stranger Things died in season 2.‘So what happened to Stranger Things between the beginning and the end of the show?’ you ask. Well, I don’t know about season 5 because it hasn’t come out yet. But I argue that, between season 1 and season 4, it was flanderized. Flanderization is often used as a derogatory term. It signals laziness on the part of the writers. And while I usually agree with that, like in the case of The Simpsons, I think it turned Stranger Things into the worst version of itself in season 3 but also led to its redemption in season 4.
