I had a hard time letting go of a lot of the burnt and melted stuff. In fact I still have a lot of it in bags in the garage. Now I feel like I'm finally in the "right place" to start looking at a select few items from that awful time. Today we're going to look at a burnt cartridge from my old Colecovision collection. Sega's Carnival is actually one of my favourite games and I have fond memories of playing it back in the 1980s. Developed by Gremlin and licenced by Sega, a lot of the cabs in the UK arcades were made by UK company Alca, who in fact never licenced the game from anyone and ended up being sued by Sega.The Colecovision version is outstanding in my opinion and well deserving of rescue. I am ashamed of the console though. The specifications are great on paper, but is it any good? This is a real review and I take it through a process of inspecting the solder pads on the Amiga. DOES IT WORK?: A Fire and Water Damaged Commodore Amiga A600 Motherboard Mark Fixes Stuff 2022-12-26 | *** This video is kindly supported by https://www.PCBWay.com - my choice for for high quality PCB manufacturing, 3D printing and more! ***In what I must honestly describe as a poorly produced quick video, we try a Commodore Amiga A600 board that was pulled out of the fire wreckage.This board was on the racking right next to where the fire started and subsequently sat in mouldy water for two weeks after Hampshire Fire and Rescue defeated the blaze. 300 degrees C followed by a long bath.As I set out, I'm not expecting too much other than some easy content. Unfortunately I've had a lot of paperwork to fill out this month pertaining to a personal situtation.
