SnuggglesHere's a write-up of how to do this Glitch. It's split into three Parts, the first one being how to get the Stored Menu up, the second one how to 'Prime' the Characters (Give them a Negative Number in Vitality, and 99 in all other Stats,) and the third one being how to Overflow/Underflow. To be able to do this, you need your Character to have at least 2 Attribute Points that aren't spent yet, but the more you have (Up to 99, because over 99 makes it a little bit awkward,) the better.
Part 1: Getting Stored Menu -Open the Flag Menu and the Expedition Menu at the same time. Consoles can do this easily by holding Start and pressing Cross/Square. This will have both Menu's on screen at the Same Time. -In the Flag Menu, go into the Attributes Menu, then Back out of it to the Flag Menu again. -Go into the Attributes Menu a second time, but keep pressing Back Out immediately after selecting it. This will give you a Dark Screen -Interact with the Flag again, and Close the Menu -Open the Flag Menu and the Expedition Menu at the same time again. This will bring up an Attributes Menu in the Background, and the Flag Menu in the Foreground. I'll refer to the Background one as Stored Menu
Part 2: Priming the Characters -Go into the Flag Menu's Attributes Screen -Back out of the Attributes Menu, then Back out of the Flag Menu. This will have the Stored Menu on Screen, where you can move around and also change stats and Characters. You want the Stored Menu to be on the Character you want to Overflow, before you confirm any Points -Interact with the Flag, and go into the Attributes Menu -Go to the Character that you want to Prime, spend all Points from top to bottom, so Max out Vitality, then Might, then Agility, and Confirm -Back out of the Attributes Menu, then Back out of the Flag Menu -In the Stored Menu, we need to temporarily spend all Points. So starting from Luck, Max it out, then Max Defense, then Agility. Vitality and Might will both show 0, but Might won't have any Arrows next to it. -Go up to Vitality, and press Left. This will change it to -99. Now, pressing Left or Right on it will decrease it by 99 each time! Change that to at least -400 -Then you can change all the other Stats to 99
Once you have a Character Primed, you don't have to do the Glitch again to change the numbers, which is why I recommend doing it for Everyone in one go. After changing the first Character's Stats to 99, just swap the Stored Menu to a different Character, interact with the Flag again, and start the steps from spending all your Points in the Flag by Maxing out Vitality, Might, and Agility
When you have a Negative number, and all other stats at 99, if you press Left on the Negative number, it changes it to 0, and you have negative Points Available. This is what allows you to Overflow. When in this state, pressing Right on any Stat that has more than 1 Point in will Overflow it, and pressing Left on any Stat that has more than 1 Point in will Underflow it. Always start with completing all Overflows before you do Underflows, otherwise it will mess it up. If you make a mistake at this point, Swapping Characters and Swapping back will reset it to the Prime values, making this like a Checkpoint. The Goal now is to Overflow what we want, and Underflow a Stat above that which we don't need to balance it out
Part 3: Going with the 'Flow -If Might is what you want to Overflow, we have to Move the Negative, which I will explain after this Part. This is going off the Assumption you want to Max Luck, and Negative Defense -Press Left on Vitality, which will change it to 0. This gives us Negative Points Available -Press Right on Luck to start Overflowing it. Get this to as high as you want, in this example it is to +30,000 -Press Left on Defense to start Underflowing it. This has to at least match what we have done in the Overflows beneath it, so in this case, it'll be set to -30,000. Going a bit further in the Underflow is always a good idea, as it lets you change things around after, so I'll do -31,000 -Confirm, and it will set those Stats!
All Stats that are above all Negative Numbers can only use however many Points you actually have, which is your Character's Level multiplied by 3. This means that it's not possible to Overflow Vitality, and Might can only Overflow if you Underflow Vitality.
Part Extra: I Like To Move It Move It -From Prime position, we have Negative in Vitality, but if we want to Overflow Might, we have to start with the Negative elsewhere first. We also have to be at least Level 2. -Press Left on Vitality to set it to 0, then Left on Agility to Underflow it, and set it to -500 -Confirm -We have to do some maths now. Level multiplied 3 gives us Actual Points. Put half of that into Vitality, and half into Might -Confirm -Press Left on Agility to set it to 0 -Press Right on Might to Overflow it. Set it to what you want -Press Left on Vitality to Underflow it. Match what you set Might to, plus 300 -Confirm

I'm unsure if this prevents any progression at all within the game, so it might not be possible to complete it after doing this.
Step 1: Make sure you have a save file stored within Lumiere, with Sophie unlocked, I do this by refusing the Harbor Cutscene, then Loading that Save. Step 2: Get to an Expedition Flag. It doesn't matter which one you use, but I use the first one available. Step 3: Stand next to the Expedition Flag, and Load the Save file that is in Lumiere. As the screen fades to black, activate the Flag, to Save the game. Then you can Load the top Save Game file to warp back to that Flag, and you will be Gustave and Sophie!Expedition 33: Old Lumiere Skip [Null Warp]Snugggles2025-05-15 | ...Expedition 33: Forgotten Battlefield SkipSnugggles2025-05-15 | ...Final Confrontation - 1:01 [Star Wars Bounty Hunter]Snugggles2025-04-16 | Easily 59-able, if you have decent skills at the gameNWFJ 3-1 Guardian 33.877 [0 Jumps].mp4Snugggles2025-04-08 | ...Leap Year TAS - 1:22.58Snugggles2025-03-27 | Rerecord Count: 864 Not a complex game, which makes it perfect for me to test my TASScript tools out on

It doesn't disable the controller inputs, though, so we are still able to swap to another character. Doing so lets the menu's load in properly and lets us interact with them. Keep in mind that we can't normally access the menu for someone who is Insight Level 1, so for the first person you Dupe Gifts on, you have to cycle back to them. Entering a menu and then backing out to the Journal lets us leave the Journal screen early, counting the Insight that the Gift gives that person, but not taking the Gift away. This does lock this save file out from unlocking anything that is below the final Insight Level that you trigger, however, so don't do this on for a Casual Save File. If you want to do this in 100% runs, then here is how many Gifts you have to give each person, along with a suggested level to grab the Gifts in: Red - 30 - Pummel (6 seconds) Yellow - 25 - Bounce (10 seconds) Violet - 30 - Elevate (8 seconds) and Gunner (9 seconds) Raz - 14 - Sequence (4 seconds) Mikey - 14 - Bubble (9 seconds) Green - 4 - Holy Ground : (28 seconds + 49 seconds in Sheol)
The reason you want two for Violet is because she is one shoulder-button input away from Red and Yellow, making her the easiest to reach for those two. The strat is to Duplicate Violet once then actually give her a Gift to unlock her first Sidequest, then when you're doing the Duping, you want to enter her Sidequest menu, then back out of it twice. This takes you back to the area where the Character you just gave a Gift to is in, rather than to White's Room, saving a bunch of time for menuing and waiting for areas to be navigable. With 107 Gifts to give, this time adds up, and is very much worth unlocking a Sidequest to save.
