On the night of Sunday, December 1st, 2024, a huge snowstorm was hammering the Buffalo area. This would have an effect on some Norfolk Southern train traffic. It was decided to run two high-priority intermodal trains, 264 and 265 over the former Delaware & Hudson Sunbury Line to avoid further delays from the storm. We managed to catch both of these trains within a few hours of each other just outside of the Hudson Model Railroad Club at Milepost 686 on the former D&H.
