I know this video probably exists already on YouTube, but if a big event like this happens expect multiple people to record it at once. Anyways I decided to record this continuity in specific since it was before the 60 Songs special in celebration for BBC Two’s 60th. Feels odd seeing these old idents in a post-2018 world, especially with the 2021 branding, but it’s nice to see them return even if they stick around for only one day. BBC Prime - IPP Test (April 5th 2024)

M43TR1X 2024-04-06 | This is a small test video for one of my BBC Prime templates. This is an IPP (in-program pointer), which is similar to an ECP but more compact and without a voiceover. This is a real template for some BBC channels, however from what I’ve seen this rarely ever shows up, I’ve only seen it once on BBC Three. I decided to use it for BBC Prime, and it actually looks good so far. This IPP was during The Mentalist, and pointed to Peaky Blinders, the following program. I hope you enjoy this small video.

BBC Prime - Unusual Continuity (April 1st 2024)

M43TR1X 2024-04-01 | Okay, so today I went to see what was happening on BBC Prime, and when I turned it on I was greeted with this very unnerving presentation. BBC Prime looked, very different to say the least. Quite a hot makeover if I must say so myself, that logo is looking as fine as ever. But to my surprise, this was the doing of aliens! And they planned to play something on BBC Prime that could easily obliterate my YouTube channel in just one frame. But then, the normal BBC Prime breakdown slide appeared, at a suspiciously perfect time. Also, if you are wondering, this was staged and no aliens actually hijacked BBC Prime. It’s April 1st, what do you expect? Anyways, with that out of the way, that is my April Fools video of 2024, hope you enjoyed it!

M43TR1X 2024-03-31 | Here it is guys, the 2024 Easter special. Some of you liked the short video I uploaded last time, showcasing CBeebies on the BBC Prime channel. So, I decided to extend on that with a longer continuity of both CBeebies and CBBC on BBC Prime. It’s been almost 2 years since my BBC Replay project, another premiere video I did back showcasing the 2021 BBC graphics, so this is somewhat of a callback to that video in time for Easter. BBC Prime - Startup (March 24th 2024)

I’m sure you’re all aware of the BBC Prime showcase video I uploaded at the end of January, but this is my first continuity video from this channel. BBC Prime leads out of the BBC News channel (in other words, the closedown) and starts itself up again into the Sunday CBeebies block. A short, simple continuity to start off the BBC Prime series. BBC Prime - Relaunch Concept

I was originally going to post a full day’s continuity of this channel, however I scrapped it in favor of shorter continuities to come soon. Anyways, this is the new BBC Prime channel (or rather, the relaunch of BBC Prime)! I thought that BBC Replay was a fun concept to work on back in April 2022, so I decided to work on another fanmade BBC channel. Heavily based on the original BBC Prime channel that existed from 1995 to 2009, this is supposed to be an international BBC channel that isn’t news-related. I had worked on template remasters from the BBC Chameleon branding back in June 2023, which I also used in the BBC America video, making this project a lot cleaner than BBC Replay visually.

The original BBC Prime channel in Europe shut down in 2009, leaving BBC Entertainment to take it’s place. Although BBC Entertainment is essentially the same thing as the former BBC Prime, the main reason I took up this project is to use the Chameleon branding on an international BBC channel. Basically an excuse to make a worldwide version of BBC One. As said earlier, this is mostly based on the original BBC Prime channel from 1995 to 2009, however I also took inspiration from BBC One in terms of it’s schedule and programming.

The new BBC Prime uses a wide variety of 2021 branding, and there are over 20+ dynamic idents shown on Prime alone. BBC Prime is avaliable to broadcast worldwide (although only Europe is mentioned in this video) except for the Americas, where BBC America is broadcast instead, and except for the United Kingdom (naturally) which already has a wide range of BBC channels. Although, routers can be modified so that BBC Prime can air in the UK. BBC Prime broadcasts in English by default, but there are broadcasts of BBC Prime in many different languages, as showcased in this video.

And now, for the fun part. BBC Learning is an educational block running from 1pm to 2pm on weekdays only. Partially based on the original BBC Learning from the original BBC Prime channel, this block is mostly based on BBC Two schools and CBBC Class TV. Speaking of, CBBC on BBC Prime also makes a return, running from 3:30pm to 5:15pm on weekdays, 7:00am to 12:00pm on Saturday and 7:00am to 10:00am on Sunday. The weekday version is based on CBBC on BBC One, while the weekend version is based on CBBC on BBC Two. We also have CBeebies on BBC Prime, running from 3:00pm to 3:30pm on weekdays, 6:00am to 7:00am on weekends and additionally 10:00am to 12:00pm on Sunday.

I’m glad to have shortened this project, otherwise I’d probably still be working on it and y’all would still be waiting, although I mainly did this for my mental health as I didn’t want to be working on something for months on end. I did just finish a 3+ hour video in November, which already took a bit over a month to do. But anyways, it’s finally out albeit shortened, and I don’t have anything else important to work on, so I might do a continuity video on this soon. Until then, I’ll see you later.

BBC Two [CBBC] - Switchover (September 25th 2010)

M43TR1X 2024-01-22 | Apologies for the lack of uploads recently, with my last video being over 2 weeks old. This isn’t a huge jump, but it feels odd since now I have a bit more free time that it’s been a while since my last upload. I am still working on the project, although progress has been harder than I thought it would be, so it might be delayed until February. Here’s a short continuity from CBBC on BBC Two, during the early days of the 3D rebrand. The SML Show aired every Friday at 4:00 on the CBBC channel at this time, however BBC Two also showed repeats of the previous episode every Saturday at 11:30. This also contains the rare phenomena of BBC Switch during the 3D era (BBC Switch ceased to exist on December 18th 2010). Anyways, I hope you enjoy the video.

CBBC [BBC One] - The SML Shorts (How Black Yoshi Saved Christmas)

M43TR1X 2023-12-25 | Here it is, the 2023 Christmas special video! Before I get into the video itself, I just wanted to say that 2023 has been a pretty good year. It wasn’t as good as 2021 or 2019, both of which are goated years in my opinion, but it was better than 2022 and definitely better than 2020. Unfortunately, throughout most of 2022 and 2023, I had been busy for a good while so the total annual quantity of my videos has noticeably decreased. Again, I don’t really have much of a schedule, I just upload at my own will, although admittedly I was very active on YouTube on 2021, and I had the same quantity problem in 2020 as well. But other than that, I did get to enjoy what I could do, and there wasn’t anything (as far as I’m aware of) that stopped me from doing so. Anyways, I hope you enjoy this video.

Windows: The Ultimate Sound Collection

M43TR1X 2023-11-11 | It’s finally here. A video that took well over a month in the making. A video that used a lot of research, and is over 2 hours and 50 minutes long. This is Windows: The Ultimate Sound Collection.

I started this project in late September 2023, and finished it in late October 2023. At first I didn’t think I would finish this project, let alone try to continue along with it, but then I got invested into the research. This was no longer a simple video project, but a test to see how much effort I could put into a video, and how long I could make it. The end result is a 2 hour 50 minute mini-documentary of every single sound for the Windows operating systems. I’ve had an interest in Windows sounds since at least 2014, and I had made 3 videos prior, all titled “It is now safe to turn off your computer.” as a reference to Windows 95’s safe screen. I’m hoping that this video will be seen as “the penultimate” when it comes to Windows Startup and Shutdown Sounds type videos. This includes more than just startups and shutdowns, it also includes other system sounds and even sound themes. There might be a sound you had never heard if in this video. Heck, a few of these sounds I had only first heard in the last month or so, when making this video. So yeah, that was my personal experience making this video.

Now, this is obviously the longest video on my channel so far, by quite a longshot, so if there are any errors in this video, they will be put into the description of this video, since I do not want to go through another 1 month struggle of making this kind of video. And to think that it ISN’T a TV related video is even crazier. You can definitely expect more genre videos other than the TV ones, albeit way shorter than this video.

iOS 17 - New Ringtones and Alerts

M43TR1X 2023-09-23 | First time I’ve uploaded a non-TV related video in a while. And to be honest, I kind of want to make it a regular thing, where I might upload a TV video or two, and then upload a non TV related video, or something like that. Since my channel’s basically been feeding on TV videos, I thought I might vary it up for the forseeable future, if that’s alright with yall. Anyways, this video is about some of the new iOS / iPadOS ringtones and alerts for iOS 17. These new sounds debuted on the iOS 17 Release Candidate, which released on September 12th 2023, 6 days before the public release on September 18th 2023. This is the first time since the debut of the Reflection ringtone for the iPhone X on iOS 11, that we’ve gotten new default ringtones for iOS. And, I actually do quite like these new sounds, as they take a more “modern” approach. They replace the iOS 7 ringtones, which are 10 years old as of now, as the default ringtones, however the iOS 7 ringtones, along with the original ringtones, can still be found in the “Classic” ringtones section. BBC Two [CBBC] - Rebrand Launch (September 3rd 2007)

M43TR1X 2023-09-03 | On this day, 16 years ago in 2007, one of the most well known rebrands of CBBC had launched, known as the “Stylish” era. Lasting up until 2016 (at least with the logo), this was also the longest branding of CBBC, lasting for almost 9 years.

The new look actually debuted on BBC Two, around a minute earlier than it did on the CBBC channel itself. It leads out of CBeebies with a promo, with the tag “The new CBBC has landed.” and an ident into Arthur. The clock appears as well, however it is in an unusual position, and the clock displays one hour behind. Obviously the clock wasn’t prepared enough for the refresh. This would be fixed the next day, however.

BBC America - New Trailer (2023)

M43TR1X 2023-08-28 | First non-CBBC video in ages. Anyways, in the early hours of August 28th of 2023, just before Star Trek: The Next Generation, a new trailer for BBC America debuted, showing off some new programs, and also using the “Chameleon” branding from most of the UK channels. As we just had the rebrands for CBBC and CBeebies in March 2023, it’s likely this promo is a precursor to a BBC America rebrand, along with a US version of the CBBC rebrand. Anyways, I hope you enjoy this video.

CBBC - The SML Show (Season 2, Episode 4)

M43TR1X 2023-07-31 | To celebrate my birthday this year, I will be uploading three special videos, one of which is a recreation of an older video!

Here it is guys. Of the three videos I uploaded today, I consider this to be the official birthday special. It is a full recreation of this video I uploaded in April 2021: youtube.com/watch?v=EmyxADPHQNI, which is an airing of The SML Show on CBBC.
There are a few problems in the original video that have been fixed in this video, alongside the overall quality being improved (especially with the screen DOG). Also for some reason the original is bass boosted, which has also been fixed in this remake.
Toad touches Black Yoshi’s Call of Duty, which becomes his biggest mistake yet. That Toad keeps screwing up, do you think Black Yoshi over-reacted?

CBBC Primetime - Continuity (September 11th 2010)

M43TR1X 2023-07-11 | I was originally requested this on Discord around July of 2021. Based on an idea I pitched in June that same year, CBBC Primetime is a weekend strand from 7pm to 9pm consisting of more adult-oriented programming. Sort of like Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim, but keeps the CBBC branding. The strand debuted on September 11th 2010, a day after the 3D refresh debut, and ended sometime in 2014, presumably September. I really liked the idea that I made on Discord, hence why I chose this to be the Grand Return request video. It took around 3 days to finalize this, so I’m surprised I didn’t finish this the time prior, but I’m better late than never. Anyways, I hope y’all enjoy this video since it’s my first requested video in a long time!

CBBC & CBeebies - Rebrand (2023)

M43TR1X 2023-04-03 | On March 15th 2023, the CBBC and CBeebies channels had rebranded, about a year and a half after the original corporate rebrand. Prior to the rebrand, as far back as at least December 2021, a promo for CBeebies with the updated logo had broadcast along the main BBC channels, provoking thought on when the children’s channels would be rebranded. During March of last year, I made prediction videos of the two channels getting rebranded. I took the branding that was used at the time, and modernified it to match with the 2021 style of presentation. Surprisingly, at the end of 2022, there was still no rebrand for either channels. However, during late February of this year, new test websites for both channels appeared, featuring updated logos using a rounded version of BBC Reith. Many people speculated this was an official precursor to a full on rebrand. And, a while later, it actually happened. March 15th 2023 marks the day where both channels have finally rebranded after painfully not doing so. And, while it doesn’t really meet my expectations, it’s nice to finally see that the BBC still kinda cares for these two channels.

CBBC gets hijacked by trolls… AGAIN? (September 25th 2015)

M43TR1X 2023-04-01 | After their original attack on the CBBC channel all the way back in July 2012, the trolls have stuck again, this time, three years later on the same channel. They played a clip of an adult animated film titled “Axel in Harlem” made by Animan Studios. Thankfully, the clip cuts off right before anything “not very CBBC appropriate” happens. Those damn trolls, when will they learn?

BBC 100 Years - Ident (Clean)

M43TR1X 2022-12-04 | This took quite a while to make, as I had to compile a bunch of audio files to make this clean soundtrack of the 100 Years Ident, but I did it. The idents, introduced on October 18th, appeared on numerous BBC channels to celebrate the centenary of the company. Anyways, I hope you enjoy this video.

BBC One - Christmas Idents (2022)

M43TR1X 2022-12-03 | It’s that time of year again, and now comes a new branding of Christmas idents. This year, BBC One has decided to go with The Boy, The Mole, The Fox and The Horse. Similar to last year’s roundup, which had Shaun the Sheep, this ident package comes in three variants: Day, Evening and Night. However, instead of the same setting for those three variants, the idents have completely different settings, from walking on an icy lake to gathering up at the tree. Aside from these idents, BBC One uses the same Christmas presentation before, with the same added snow on the trailers as last year.
