This is my #81st #shorts video featuring the legendary Nokia N97 Mini.
Nokia N97 Mini released in 2009 is the smaller modified version of the legendary Nokia N97. This device ironed out all the kinks that the original N97 had such as 256mb of ram up from 128mb, redesigned more tactile keyboard, better reception, removal of the camera cover to solve the scraping issue and many more. It however had a slightly smaller form factor and less battery life and considerably less storage at only 8gb from 32gb on the N97.
The Nokia N97 Mini is a somewhat rare Nokia phone from 2009. The Nokia N97 being an N-Series device is loaded with features such as a multimedia mode, hours of battery life, 2 Camera's and a lot of other stuff. The original Nokia N97 was also marketed as an iPhone killer but that slogan was quickly dismissed considering it was easily one of Nokia's most flawed devices ever. The Nokia N91 was plagued with software issues and a lack of enough ram as well as a design flaw in the camera cover and so on. Some people even argue that the Nokia N97 was directly responsible for Nokia's eventual downfall. However, this is an exaggeration considering the Nokia N8 sold really well in 2010. The N97 was certainly a disappointment but wasn't the end of Nokia as they did eventually release the Nokia N97 Mini which fixed all the issues. I personally love the Nokia N97 as its unmistakably Nokia with its sleek design, solid build quality and everything else you'd expect from a Nokia N-Series phone. The N97 Mini attempted to re establish the name of the N97 but did not do too well in that regard.

These phones are no Android 14 or Android 15 powerhouses and It also ain't no iPhone 16 Pro Max, Google Pixel 9, Google Pixel 9a, Lumia 950Xl, Lumia 1520, Lumia 1020, Google Pixel 9 Pro, Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, Motorola Edge S or OnePlus 13 Pro but are definitely interesting phones on their own!
