No wave was a short lived subgenre used to describe music from the New York underground of the late 70s to early 80s, mixing various influences of funk, jazz, disco and avant-garde noise with the high energy of punk rock. Expect weird, expect strange, expect disco beats, expect to not know who almost anyone on this thing is lol

This month was the 45th anniversary of the Brian Eno produced compilation album "No New York", which was a very important part of no wave, as it was one of the most popular releases of the subgenre, and it featured some of the only studio recordings by the bands that started the whole scene. This song pack is a selection of 20 songs from bands of the original movement, a few contemporaries from the New York underground, some late stage no wave bands and a few no wave revival bands.

All charts are full band! With the exception of the solo medleys and songs that only had 2 instruments (ie, both Suicide songs and the Theoretical Girls one)

If you don't know exactly where to start, following the tracking order when you sort by playlist is recommended, as it is roughly chronological.
