November 11, 2013 - London bass-music producer Ωhmtrix has released his debut album Measure Of Resistance through boutique label SectionZ. A collection of tracks ranging from deep and cinematic to hard and dark, and with a fusion of electronic and acoustic instruments, Measure of Resistance relates to the determination to get somewhere and the frustration at doing shit jobs I didnt ever want to do (Ωhmtrix). While dark and crushing enough for high energy dubstep/dnb dancefloors, the arrangements and production quality make for great home & headphone listening as well.
With his Measures of Resistance album, Ohmtrix emerges with a huge warning shot at the underground. The album features a supreme selection of tracks with aggressive mid-range assaults and even fiercer basslines. His signature sound is woven throughout the album and cannot be avoided - or ignored. Ohmtrix has shown his next-level capabilities with this compilation; proving himself again as a worthy choice as one of our up and coming producers to watch in 2014.
