Picked up the package deal from Besthobbymall.com
which is frame, 4 12A ESCs, and 4 EMAX 2280kv motors
for $102. Added Naze 32 controller, Hyperion 3S 1600 battery
pack and a Surveilzone 600TVL mini metal cased camera.
Strapped Mobius on the included anti-vibe mount on top. Both cameras angled up 10-15 degrees or so because I like to fly fast all the time and still see where I'm going.
On my previous mini I'd been running 5x3 props and it was flyable but extremely anemic at my altitude, a mile above sea level. With these HQ 6x4.5's it is a beast. It feels like it always has more than enough power and allows for ultra precise placement. The only thing limiting its forward speed is my inability to see where I'm going when it's leaned forward.
The frame is a carbon/glass hybrid (they offer an all-carbon version $20 more) but seems virtually indestructible, for anything
short of pounding it straight into a rock, or pavement.
