Gameboy Color fidget keyring Facelesstech 2023-10-22 | I had seen Werry (sudomods) had made some DMG style fidget keyrings, I had the idea but to have the buttons light up when pressed. I set out and designed some but styled on the GBC because i wanted them to be different and also had a lot of GBC stuff left over. I designed a PCB that takes a CR2032 battery and two 0603 LED's, The LED's light up when the button membranes complete the circuit. I used GBC tri-wing screws to hold it all together. Gameboy Macro Flush GBA Port Facelesstech 2022-10-15 | Someone asked the question if anyone could make a Gameboy macro with a flush GBA port. My first reaction was no but I couldn't shake off the idea so I went all in. 2 months later and I was finally happy with how it came out. I removed the DS slot, Battery post and DS crystal, I made a custom flex PCB that had the new footprint for the GBA port and also a footprint for the DS crystal. I had to have a hard wired battery and a 3d printed shell to accommodate the extra height because the GBA port now sat on top of the DS board.
