We may very well see a more darker toned Zelda for the Wii U. In addition the gameplay mechanics of Zelda Wii U will most likely revolve around the gamepad. Will motion controls be absent? Is hyrule warriors a way to get motion controls out for the Wii U? Only time will tell.

We might be seeing more information about Nintendo's latest Zelda installment at E3 2014.

However I stand by my theory that the next zelda wii u will be released 2015-2016, not 2014 as some suggest.

Now that its been quite some time that the Wii U has been launched, zelda fans wait patiently for the latest original adventure on the console. Perhaps Zelda Wii U may be dropping on 2015 or 2016 only time will tell however.
