Captured on June 12, 2026, this full‑show recording preserves the last moments of the current version of Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress before it goes dark to prepare for its next evolution.
Disney has confirmed:
“To prepare for the next version of this ever‑progressing attraction, Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress will be temporarily unavailable beginning on July 6, 2026. We expect the attraction to reopen in 2027.”
That makes this video a true time capsule — the final chance to experience the classic rotating theater, the family’s journey through the decades, and the beloved Sherman Brothers anthem “There’s a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow.”
A heartfelt farewell to a show Walt personally guided from concept to completion. 💡💙
