Step two to bringing my new pressed flower earrings to life. We’re making the silicone mold to pour the resin in. The process is pretty similar to pouring resin. We measure the two parts, mix them, and then pour. Once it cures, we can use the mold for resin to make our pressed flower earrings.
I make almost all of my molds and it’s a lot more work since I’m making them from scratch with my laser and acrylic (check out my previous video for that process if you missed it). But I really enjoy the process of bringing something new to life, just seeing it all come together as I go through each step. I also love being able to have unique designs in my shop and you do notice it, too, so it’s all worth it.
We’re finally ready to pour into this mold so next time we’ll make some pressed flower earrings together!
