Eggfur | New! Java & Bedrock Item Sorter - overflow proof with only 2 filter items per slice @Eggfur | Uploaded August 2020 | Updated October 2024, 15 hours ago.
This is my new stackable item sorter. It has a number of improvements over the widely used ImpulseSV sorter. It requires fewer items to be stuck in your filter hoppers (only 2-5 instead of 42!), whilst still being completely overflow proof. It's also over twice as fast at ingesting from a water stream.
It supports single and double hopper speed sorting - and unlike Ilmango's double speed sorter doesn't need any extra filter items to make it work.
The downside is that it's a bit more complex since it's alternating tileable, and you have to treat 16 stackable items just a bit differently. You also need more iron per slice.
This works on both Java and Bedrock Edition of Minecraft.
