Hello there, welcome to another Rick Grimes tribute. I figured it would be fun to try and edit the sheriffs deputy with a sad song, rather than some rock music.
I was originally working on a father Gabriel edit, but that didnt quite work as well, Ill still finish it, but I just need some more time. Rick is still my favourite TWD character and its always a joy to make his tributes, I dont know what else I can type in this description honestly.
Ohhhh, apparently theres gonna be like 5 more episodes or something, so that should be interesting. Are you guys excited for that? I heard one of the episodes is called Heres Negan, or something similar. Im looking forward to that one, hopefully well get to see some nice background story to Negan, probably based on the graphic novel with the same name.
In this video I put a lot of focus on Hershel Greene, because he had such a key role in the transformation of Rick Grimes. I absolutely love Hershels character, beautifully portrayed by Scott Wilson, rest in peace.

Maggie Rhee has been an absolute badass this season. Ive been loving her darker sides a lot! Despite having created another Maggie tribute quite recently, I thought I should make another one with the new content from season 11 episode 9. Which gave a lot of screen time to Maggie.
While I absolutely adore the original Smells Like Teen Spirit, from Nirvana, I felt like the cover version suited Maggie better. Especially the editing style and tone I wanted to go with came out better with a slower version. Its actually the same version I used for my Beth Greene tribute.

Hello there, welcome to my second tribute to our favourite apocalyptic priest. Gabriel has had some amazing dark scenes in season 11 of The Walking Dead so far. Seth Gilliam is absolutely killing his role, amazing acting! Its great to see how far Father Gabriel has come from his introduction in season 5. Call me Gabriel. Loved it! Hey everyone, it took me a lot of effort to get this on YouTube. The site just didnt want this upload online, but I kept trying and it finally worked. So with that out of the way, lets talk about the actual edit. I really love Negans story arc in season 10, definitely the best one out of all the characters in my opinion. Which made me want to make another Negan tribute. I cant wait for when Negan gets his comic book moment in the mid season finale and does... well I wont spoil. In this tribute we focussed on not only Negans badass moments, but also the rise and fall of the leader of the Saviors. Negan has been one of the most interesting characters in the last few seasons, especially during the entire Whisperer War. Hey everyone, recently I went through some of my older edits and I stumbled upon this Daryl Dixon edit I made with the song Demons, I saw how much potential it had and was actually quite pleased with how the video was, considering how long ago I made it. However I felt like I should use the original song and not a cover and really utilise a song a bit more, so here we are: a remake.
Unlike before I purposefully re-used certain scenes in the same video, such as Beth holding Daryl and Beths blood on the ground. I did this to showcase the change throughout the video and how it sticks with him whilst Daryl tries to escape the faith of what will always happen.
As usual I tried to follow the lyrics the best I could and every scene has its reason to be right there. I did re-use a couple masks, because I thought what the hell, its just a couple seconds, but adds so much. Let me know what you think about re-using of certain effects.
On a completely different note. Some people love to pretend to be me. Im NOT on Instagram, whoever you see there is not the real me, but a fake person that steals my edits and claims to be me. Its best to just report that person.

I thought it would be fun to make a very simplistic video that also showcases the happier moments in TWD, rather than just always the grim and dark tones the show carries.
I edited it a bit here and there, but tried to not over-do it, hopefully the little texts dont take away from the video. Whenever a moment was funny enough on its own I tried to leave it as much as it was in the original. But I also thought I could make a couple moments that werent necessarily funny in the show into more comedic skits by adding thoughts to the characters. Hello there, ever since I did the Diary of Jane video (which in my opinion is my best video until today) Ive been wanting to use another Breaking Benjamin song. It took me a while to gather the courage to take on another one of those extremely difficult songs, but I think the end result is magnificent. I really hope I was able to live up to the expectations people had when they clicked on this video because I spent a LOT of time on this.
The song is dark, gritty and emotional at the same time which perfectly describes Officer Friendlys personality throughout The Walking Dead. Hes a man caught in a world filled with psychopaths and he has to decide how much of himself he allows to let go to survive. The more he lets go of his humanity, the more he becomes like the villains. In this video I tried to showcase that by not solely making him the devil, but him as well as negan and the governor and smaller villains. I wanted to end on a good note though and nothing fits that better than Rick sparing Negan for Carls dying wish.
In this video I expiremented a bit, I tried out a darker colouring (lets hope YouTube doesnt mess it up again). I added little black bars, not only does it give an extra feeling to the edit, it mainly functions as a place for me to put the subtitles. Which brings me to the biggest expirement that I tried on this video: subtitles. Do you like them, do you hate them? I thought they were pretty clever here, considering the music is loud and people do tend the mumble from time to time. You can just ignore the subtitles of course, since its mostly Rick talking and he speaks pretty clearly most of the time, but I thought it would be interesting to add the subtitles.
