International visitors planning on visiting a US national park in 2026.....
There’s been a lot of confusion about new park fees, so here’s the clear version straight from the National Park Service:
Non-U.S. residents:
The America the Beautiful Non-Resident Annual Pass costs $250, is valid for one year, and covers:
• One vehicle (or two motorcycles)
• OR the passholder + 3 additional adults at per-person parks
Free entrance days do not apply to nonresidents unless you have this pass.
Parks with an additional $100 nonresident fee
At these parks, nonresidents age 16+ must pay a $100 per-person fee in addition to the regular entrance fee, unless using an America the Beautiful Non-Resident Annual Pass:
Acadia • Bryce Canyon • Everglades • Glacier • Grand Canyon • Grand Teton • Rocky Mountain • Sequoia & Kings Canyon • Yellowstone • Yosemite • Zion
This also applies to commercial tour groups unless the Non-Resident Annual Pass is used.
If you’re visiting a park not on this list, you can usually just pay the standard weekly entrance fee at the gate (typically $35 or less).
