Playing as Nanman Soldier in Dynasty Warriors 3: Xtreme Legends on Very Hard difficulty. Full gameplay showcasing the Nanman Soldier moveset, combat flow, and enemy pressure in Xtreme Legends.
*My Comments:* Well, this one turned out better than expected. Surprisingly, the peon’s halberd moveset is quite fun to use. Granted, it has a very slow normal attack speed, but the wide swings actually help a lot with filling the Musou bar. Pair it with the short Musou bar strategy (where you don’t max the Musou bar and leave it at its default length), and you can get a moderate Musou filler. I usually stop after the 3rd regular attack because the thrust on his last hit leaves him vulnerable to attacks, as can be clearly seen in this video.
Also... the true Musou of this moveset is grounded *even* when activating true Musou. Moreover.. its Musou deals a lot of damage! even on Very Hard difficulty *AND* while using the short Musou strategy. Most generics would fall in about 3 Musous (considering the short Musou bar), err... which is kind of crazy. Using a maxed-out Musou bar would definitely result in a two-Musou KO, which is outstanding damage output on Very Hard difficulty, where player damage output tends to be quite low even with a maxed attack stat.
