We Predator 670 swapped our King Midget and figured to drive it 300 miles to the beach for a 4th of July Parade and to do fireworks on the beach! What we didn't consider is that just because we increased the horsepower with a Predator 670 to keep up with traffic doesn't mean that the rest of the King Midget is ready! These old micro cars are desirable these days because they're golf cart sized cars that are treated just like regular cars in the eyes of the law! That means they can be driven on public roads at highway speeds. Behold, the 1969 King Midget. The King Midget, built by Midget Motors in Ohio was built from 1949 to 1969. They produced about 5,000 units, and 1,000 are believed to be left in existence. The vintage mini bike revealed usual amounts of jank while we were going over it- hose clamps on the brake cables, a jerry rigged throttle assembly, and chunky oil, but the real issue was when we started it up! The mini bike hadn't run in 20 years, and we think we know why it was parked. When we started up this vintage Tecumseh HS50, it made the worst knocking noise! We rode it anyway, and we cruised and raced it with two other vintage mini bikes. The ride ended... badly. This Triumph 955cc mini rear engine drag rail is going to be fast, and we're building a chassis and front end with a good alignment. For the first time ever, we had to start a chassis over! Triumph 955cc Mini Sand Rail Build (Pt. 1) CarsandCameras 2023-01-30 | Our Triumph 955cc go kart is a bit too sketchy to ride it as is, so we're building a new mini dragster! This motorcycle powered drag rail will be primarily used on the dirt and sand, with the option to change the ride height to run it on the asphalt as well. Us vs. the WORST Go Kart Ever Made | Will our Twin Engine Go Kart Survive a Full Send? CarsandCameras 2023-01-23 | Our twin engine go kart is a monstrosity! We mated two built Honda clone engines to a 5 speed 4 wheeler transmission with reverse, high/low, and 4WD, and it vibrates so badly that we can't keep it running! The original engine/transmission was balanced to minimize vibration, and when we cut the jug and rod out of the crankshaft and then mounted two Honda clones on the transmission, it became a huge mess of vibration.
