I edited a video with music in itEric Wolff (Airic)2026-09-24 | I edited a video with music in itPlant ParkourEric Wolff (Airic)2023-03-01 | Movement forms, especially animal forms have long been an occurrence in the world of kung fu, dance and parkour. Maybe unsurprisingly I’ve never come across anyone training a plant style before. When the question of how would plants do parkour popped into my head over ten years ago, I first envisioned it as a handstand form. Images of someone in a one arm handstand, strong and steady slowing moving their legs as if caught in a breeze. I still think this is somewhat applicable as a “tree” style of movement but it didn’t feel like it was the plant parkour style I was envisioning. Years later while watching an Attenborough documentary a timelapse segment was shown, vines were slowly overtaking the land, working their way up and through the enviroment. It finally clicked, this is how I had imagined plant pk. What you’re about to watch are my first attempts to explore the style, each piece was filmed using timelapse at 30fps with a frame taken every second real world time. Through these experiments I found a few things, firstly strength and flexibility were key components when you’re moving this slowly and secondly this is a great way to practice mindfulness. I’m excited to see how my understanding of the style evolves, thanks for joining me on this journey. One of my favorite bail/saves I’ve had recently #ukemiEric Wolff (Airic)2022-12-03 | ...Little gibbon swing buildering project from tonightEric Wolff (Airic)2022-12-01 | ...To postEric Wolff (Airic)2022-05-29 | Hey, it’s been awhile.
I broke my phone 3 months ago, lost my contacts and took it as an opportunity to step away from social media and messengers. I took a semester of school and now I’m back to training daily. I’ll find my way back to social media eventually, the disconnect from the community has been interesting but it’s been peaceful to just move.Bat hang challengeEric Wolff (Airic)2021-06-07 | ...Instagram parkour compilation Jan. 20th- Apr. 30thEric Wolff (Airic)2021-04-30 | The rise of the vertical video format

Leading up to the event I increased my training load outside of PK massively. Lots of running, jumping and conditioning. Sprints, long distance runs and bike rides. It made me more fit for the event but wasn't very focused specifically to WCT. This feels like some of the purest parkour training I’ve ever done, a lot of it thanks to the inspiration from endurance parkour and the constant questioning wether any of us ever actually do parkour or are just training to do parkour (We do but I feel it’s just those moments where you save yourself from falling/slipping or when you move without thought to save someone or even jumping around, etc...)
At least 90-95% of these runs were unplanned and what I filmed was the first and only try.
Running has become one of my go to forms of training and conditioning outside of parkour. I didn’t understand it when I was younger, there was no joy to be had. But after my time spent living in the jungles of Hawaii I came to see running as this beautiful form of movement, as a way to get from A to B. In the right environments, like those jungles it almost feels like you can fly.

The little bit of movement the gate had added an extra challenge to it. While I was editing this I had some many ideas for things to try when I go back. A lot more top rail and middle rail movements that aren't just circular flow movements.

Drilling a little of everything and pushing boundaries again. It's been great having new spots and Richard from Hawaii parkour to train with.Simple Spots Ep.10Eric Wolff (Airic)2016-03-22 | After a year and a half I've reached episode 10 of simple spots. It started as kind of a joke to those who would always use the excuse that they have no good spots to train at and I would always say I could train for days in just a parking space.
For the past couple of weeks I've been crashing at Richard's and using this table for fairly standard purposes. But last night as I was moving it out of the way to stretch I felt the urge to play with it and the empty spaces instead.
It gets harder the more I train this style to keep it unique to the object. Eventually a vocabulary of movement develops to interact with simple spots. Basics arise just as the basics arose for more complex spots(vaults, tacs, cat leaps, laches, under bars, etc...)
It always comes back to connecting with the object and seeing the possibilities that are only available with it and the nothingness that surrounds it.Movements of the day 391-400Eric Wolff (Airic)2016-03-06 | Movements of the day 391-400 it's been a crazy couple of weeks.
