Bluey - Naughty (Matilda) Ro994 2023-01-03 | I DO NOT OWN ANYTHING! (Oh my gosh, it's been such a long time since I last wrote that phrase)Hello, YouTube, and Happy New Year! Bet you forgot about me. Not only has it been forever since I last uploaded something (other than that one short), but it's been an even LONGER time since I last did an AMV of any kind (I think nowadays they're called fancams, but eh, mine don't have fancy effects or a vertical/square format, so I'll keep calling them AMVs).I hadn't felt inspiration to actually sit down and edit one of these in a long time. And I don't mean that lightly, you can check it out on my channel. The last one I did was over three years ago. So what changed? Well, this little video here was born from the inspiration I felt from two little things:The first of which, of course, is the wonderful show that is Bluey. I wouldn't be surprised if the majority of you have already watched it considering what a boom in popularity it has gotten. What else can I say about it that hasn't been said a hundred times before? It really is such a charming and clever show that truly anyone can enjoy. I've grown to love these characters so much, the writing is great and relatable, the animation and background designs/palettes are beautiful, AAAAAAHHH it's all just so good! It's definitely become my new MLP. (Sorry G5, you're cool for what you are, but I just haven't been able to get into you like I wished)And the second is, as you can probably, the new Matilda the Musical movie. Even if I still prefer the 1996 version when it comes to characters and pacing, I was in awe of the musical elements of the new one! I didn't know much about the original Matilda musical other than a couple of songs from it, but watching this new movie really made me feel like I was watching a play, right from the opening number to the finale. I'm definitely gonna be listening to the songs on loop for a while (and probably also check out the OG musical's soundtrack to so I can hear those missing songs).So yes, as soon as I heard this fun song, I couldn't help but start visualizing a Bluey AMV set to it. For a moment, I considered making Bingo Matilda in this, since she's the more sensitive and intellectual of the sisters, and also would probably relate more to the struggles of being little, since she's the youngest. But since this was an independent AMV and not a set, I ultimately decided that Bluey was the better choice, because of her scenes with books, using magic (Matilda's telekinesis), and being naughty (or cheeky, as she would say 😉). Plus, on top of everyone, this voice just sounds a lot like Bluey. Is it just me?I can't tell you guys if I'm going to keep making BMVs (that's definitely not the name LOL) on a semi-regular bases or not, since real life, art, and work often tend to keep my quite preocuppied. But I gotta say that making this turned out to be quite fun, so I wouldn't be at all opposed to doing more in the near future! Feel free to leave your ideas and suggestions in the comments. I do kinda have an idea for which I even did a whole cast list (HINT: It's another movie based on a book that involves a lot of child characters and magic), but that one's not a musical, so I may or may not do something like a trailer or a couple of movie scenes. Aladdin Fan-Made End Credits (Animated Tribute to Disneys 1992 Classic) Ro994 2021-07-30 | I OWN NOTHING BUT MY ARTWORK! All characters, music, and logos are property of Disney.So, remember a few months back when I uploaded that Strange Magic tribute I did for my Motion Graphics class? Well, this is the final exam for that class :DBasically, my teacher gave us freedom to do whatever we wanted for the final, the only condition is that the video had to be over one minute long, and all illustrations (if we used them) had to be made by ourselves.Since I've been watching a lot of Marvel movies and shows lately, I've become kind of obsessed with their end (and, rarely, opening) credits sequences and how each has a unique style that matches the movie. And it's not just Marvel, I think stylized and eye-catching credits are becoming more and more common practice in movies nowadays, which I love.But then I thought of the Disney Reinassance movies, arguably some of the company's best and most famous animated products. But sadly the end credits they have don't really do them justice, they're just letters in front of a black screen, boring! So, I thought I'd fix that for my second favorite 90s Disney movie, Aladdin! (I was gonna do my favorite, Lion King, but someone else had already picked that movie for their final project so I thought I'd do a different one.) I know a lot of these appear in the opening credits, but it was just for fun (and, you know, also for homework :'B).I obviously had a limited time to finish this, so both the illustrations and animation probably could've turned out a little better, but either way I'm pretty happy with the final result. Aside the gigantic forehead (which I didn't notice until it was far too late to fix), I'm pretty satisfied with the end result.So, the end of the semester approaches, and final projects are starting to drop. Which means I'll probably spend a few weeks without drawing anything (or at least not as much as I'd like), and I doubt I'll be able to record another speedpaint this month. I do know what my next one will be of though! Whats Up Danger - Mini Flash Sentry PMV Ro994 2019-09-05 | I DO NOT OWN ANYTHING!I hadn't really felt like editing anything the past few months.And then Flash Sentry got a song.AND BOY WAS I HAPPY.A friend of mine (you know who you are) suggested this to me when I said I wanted to make a short PMV with clips from "Cheer You On" (which, if you haven't watched and you consider yourself a Flash Sentry fan, GO SEARCH IT ON YOUTUBE NOW!!).I have two other longer ideas in mind, one involving SciFlash (if you're surprised you do not know me), and one Flash alone. They both involve heavy using of these clips, so I BETTER HOPE YOU WON'T GET TIRED OF SEEING THEM! /laughs maniacally/This helped me de-stress from college work a little bit. It's kind of a combination of lot of college work, a lot of art I've been making, and my health not being super duper excelent.I finished this a few hours ago and wanted to share with you guys! The Greatest Showman Medley- Equestria Girls and Miraculous Ladybug Crossover (10K!) WOW, THANKS EVERYONE! And since I know some of my subscribers are here for Equestria Girls videos and some are for Miraculous videos (some for both of course), I figured it was a good time to try out a crossover! T.) and becuase the song "Never Enough" felt right for her character, because of how I feel she feels pressure from her family to be the best at her craft, even if that's not necessarily what she really wants (that's my headcanon at least, I love Kagami don't @ me)Sci-Twi and Flash have their roles mostly because of how I feel "Rewrite the Stars" is the SciFlash icon, not gonna lie xD But come on, I can't have my 10K special video and not put my OTP in it! The topic is: "Your Own Story". I couldn't find any inspiration to make a short story with these two in fanfic or drawing form, but I've wanted to make this video since a long time ago. That's why I used the instrumental in my fanfic's trailer. But I couldn't stop there, the lyrics fit the scenario I had in mind TOO well! In short, it takes place a few months after Twilight and Flash broke up with Timber and Sunset, respectively. They have built a strong friendship during this time and realized that maybe there was something more between them. Their past relationships and break-ups weren't easy, so for the longest, they were afraid to move on and start out with someone new. But they both knew each other's hopes and fears, and made each other happy and better. Miraculous Ladybug AMV- So Close Ro994 2018-09-02 | I DO NOT OWN ANYTHING!Movie Maker ACTUALLY hates me. This took me twice the time to edit than it should've, BUT at least I got to finish it in time for the Miraculous anniversary, so HAPPY 3 YEARS OF MIRACULOUS!!I knew I wanted to use the dance scene in "Despair Bear" somehow. I re-watched "Enchanted" the other day, and I thought this would be PERFECT, especially considering that now our main characters have actual romantic rivals, being Kagami and Luka.The story in my mind is basically this:Marinette and Adrien encounter each other again after a few years of finding out their identidies, going their separate ways, and getting in a relationship with other people. They dance and reminence all their memories as Ladybug and Chat Noir, and realize that the spark between them is still there. However, they also realize it's probably a little too late, for they both have moved on and found happiness in someone else.I'm pretty sure that once "Frozer" somes out and we have more scenes of Kagami and Luka I'm gonna regret not having waited more to make this buuuuuut... here we are.I really hope you enjoyed this and I really hope I didn't make you cry! It's soooo beautiful! But be prepared for some SERIOUS feels. And some darkness too, since it's based more off the novel than the Disney movie. The fact that it didn't make it into Broadway is a SHAME.Anyways, a few weeks ago, I heard this song for like the 200th time, and I was like "Huh, that sort of fits canon Flash and canon Timberlight situation". And then my brain had this idea. And I was like "NOOOOOOOOOO" but did it anyways.I kinda hate myself for this. AS IF MY BOY FLASH DIDN'T SUFFER ENOUGH, NOW I'M PUTTING HIM AS THIS MARTYR OF A CHARACTER! This is honestly the most painful PMV (or EqGMV) I've ever done, even though the end result does look good. Next time it'll be something more light-hearted for us Flashlight/SciFlash fans, I promise.And don't freak out, you all know this doesn't mean I like Timberlight. As much as a like Phoebus and Esmeralda (in the movie and musical, NOT in the novel), Timber and Twilight sort of fit this specific song, because how, for this moment at least, they only seem to care about each other even though there are lots of others (ESPECIALLY FLASH/QUASIMODO) suffering around them.And let me mention how FREAKING HARD the crowd parts were. Do you know how many sad crowd scenes there are in Equestria Girls? ZERO!! ONE, AT BEST! What is this, 2015??I told you my channel wasn't going to be as active as before, but I watched "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" a few days ago, and last night I got a sudden inspiration to edit this, and it was quite short and easy, so I went for it.It's been A WHILE since I've made a Miraculous AMV, I know. But the main reason is that I wanted to wait for the balcony scene episode. I had a feeling there would be some good romance scenes in that episode, and BOY HOWDY WAS I RIGHT! I think this song describes very well how Adrien/Chat Noir feels about Ladybug. I know he's THE POLAR OPPOSITE of hideous, but he does have a lack of affection in his life. He's with Sunset now, and even if he wasn't, he knows this Twilight isn't the same girl he met and fell in love with a year earlier.But still, he can't handle the fact that he broke a heart the same way someone broke his. But Spike the Dog had a much wider emotional range, and he DOES interact with Fluttershy. They're under a spell, anyway. Maybe the spell affected Chip more because he's a child? Idk, but you can't deny he turned out adorable.Had to throw some Princess Twilight here because... you know :(I hope it did look like he was giving her the library... too bad these two don't snowball fight! Equestria Girl and the Beast- Days in the Sun Ro994 2017-04-23 | I DO NOT OWN ANYTHING!*Sits down exhaustedly* Let me tell you a story, kids…In the last video, when I said I already had the cast done for the enchanted objects… that wasn’t completely true. I said that because I was SURE “Be Our Guest” would win. I didn’t expect AT ALL that you guys would prefer this song… I honestly hadn’t thought of a cast for Cadenza or Plumette, but I was sort of in a tight spot…I remade this video at least three times with different casts. I almost used Sunset as Cadenza and Lyra and Bonbon as Lumiére and Plumette. But then I realized that, for the sake of this video and the next one I’ll make, it was better for me to stick to the HuMain 6. Pinkie Pie was going to be Lumiére since the very beginning anyway, and since Applejack was already Cogsworth, the only other choice for Plumette was Sunset Shimmer. I admit it’s not my best casting, but who else could’ve been the wardrobe but Rarity? (out of the HuMain 6, that is)I ultimately decided that it was the best thing to double-cast Rainbow Dash. You know, like Hamilton. So she’s both Monsieur Jean AND Maestro Cadenza (too bad the latter couldn’t have been CADANCE, am I right?)Oh, and did I mention the lack of dying mother for FlashBeast? I had nothing very convincing to work with (without making it very awkward, that is) so… he’s just remembering the places he visited with his mother in his childhood? Equestria Girl and the Beast- Me Ro994 2017-04-13 | I DO NOT OWN ANYTHING!I told you guys I was going to sneak a song from the Broadway Musical of "Beauty and the Beast" into this semi-set.You see, I wanted to do something more with Gaston Timber (I'll call him Gastimber), but "Gaston" (the song) wouldn't have worked because the only person that praises Timber is himself, and "Kill the Beast" could only work with Gaia Gloriosa.This song, however, felt more right for Gastimber! I KNOW, I KNOW, Timber isn't a misogynist jerk like Gaston. Fine, I ADMIT Timber is way nicer than Gaston, BUT take into consideration that Gaston's proposal is a big love letter to himself, which isn't that far off from Timber's "flirting".Seriously, there are many things that trouble me about this ship, and one of them is: Sci-Twi being so smart, educated and somehow picky, HOW could she have fallen for someone as conceited and flirty as Timber, just because he was CUTE? She didn't even fall for Flash, who was the first person EVER, besides from Cadance, to show her ANY kindness!
