Earth Geometry lesson 2 - Distance between two points on great circle
updated
The first few somber smithing stones were quite easy to get. However after upgrading the weapons a few times, the requirement for rarer somber smithing stones means they are not as easy to find.
Somber smithing stone 7 in particular, is hidden in Leyndell Royal Capital in the Subterranean Shunning-Grounds. Even though you can clearly see this location on the interactive map, to actually get to it is quite difficult.
The whole Leyndell Royal Capital is like a maze with multiple levels. To actually get into an area there are very specific entrances that you have to find. In this case, lots of ladders, stairs, dropping down into specific objects (e.g. pipes) and trying to survive ambushes.
Eventually you will see how I get to Somber Smithing Stone 7. Enjoy upgrading your weapon!
This boss is insanely difficult initially. You have to try a lot of things and do a lot of research. After doing the homework, it does get a lot easier. Firstly, at the start of the fight, he will summon two knights to help him. These knights do a lot of damage, so you have to get rid of the knights first before tackling the boss.
One of the knights will run at you (the one that is dual weilding). This is good because that means you get a bit of time to kill him before the other two bosses reach you as well. Use a carian greatsword spell to quickly finish the first knight.
If the second knight charges at you, use a carian greatsword to finish him off too. If he doesn't, run far away from both the knight and commander Niall, and use a ranged spell (in my case I am using Comet Azur) to finish the second knight.
When Niall is the only one left standing, that's when I summoned my spirit to help. Mimic Tear will create an identical version of yourself. In this case since I have only equipped two spells, the mimic tear should shoot Comet Azur at commander Niall a few times. This will help a little bit but not too much.
The only way to defeat Niall is to know when to dodge, so his attacks don't touch you. If you get used to his attacks, you basically know when to dodge (at the last split second when he charges at you).
After you master the dodging, it'll simply be a case of standing as far away from him as possible, drink your mana potions and fire the Comet Azur. Hold down the comet Azur spell button so it will damage him as much as possible per shot.
Hope you can see how I defeated him and do the same!
1. Mimic Tear - this is a spirit summon that creates a clone of yourself. It will have the exact same equipment that you're wearing and use the exact same spells that you've learned.
2. Ancient Death Rancor - this is a spell that staggers enemies constantly. When you equip this spell on the Mimic tear, it will basically constantly stagger whoever you're fighting against.
So while your Mimic Tear is almost freezing all your enemies for you, I'm using the Sword of Night and Flame to deal instane amounts of damage, by using the Comet Azur skill of the sword, I basically one or two shot most enemies in this area I'm in.
The area in this video is called Fort Faroth. I found it would give me about 20k runes if I cleared it, and I do it very easily as you can see in this video. I basically gained about 20 levels here just by clearning it over and over again, from about level 50 to 70.
The area also contains a very useful item - Radagon's Soreseal, which gives you insane stats boosts, at the cost of taking a bit more damage. You get this item right at the end after killing some giant rats. As you can see I have this equipped.
The problem is, even with this huge perk, Radahn still kicked my ass the first few times I tried. He is simply too strong.
Looking at this problem logically - how did I die every time? Basically because on Youtube I watched a very strong mage (level 90) defeat him with the rock sling spell. In order to land rock sling on him, you had to be within a certain distance. Unfortunately, that distance was too close. Once he sees you and chases after you, it's pretty much instant death.
So I found another spell. Loretta's Greatbow. With this spell, you can basically stand so far away that if he starts running at you, you can run away with your house and he will never catch up. Using this spell, killing him was almost too easy. He barely landed any hits on me.
Enjoy the video!
As a mage, it is insanely difficult to clear the area, and you don't need to. You just need to know how to run from the starting site of grace to the second site of grace, which is right in front of the boss. It sound easy, but if you don't know where to go, you will die, a lot.
So this is a video showing you exactly how to run, from the "Impassable Greatbridge" site of grace to "Chamber Outside the Plaza" site of grace. You will not need to kill anyone, so you should survive no matter what level you are. Enjoy the video!
An Ash of War is something you can attach to a weapon so that when you have the weapon equipped, you can activate the Ash Of War by pressing LT. This particular Ash Of War will make four blue swords float around you, and if you run at an enemy the swords will automatically shoot themselves at the enemy causing damage.
The crazy thing about this particular Ash of War is that the swords not only cause damage, but also staggers the enemy. This means that for a split second, the enemy won't move and you can critical damage them by doing a backstab or a visceral attack.
I basically used this Ash of War to clear a whole area. Firstly I activate the Glintblade Phalanx, then I run at an enemy to stagger them, then I stab them with an Rapier to cause critical damage. I also summon spirit wolves in case anything bad happens, but then again you don't have to be a mage to summon spirits.
So really, I don't have to be a mage at all to do any of this. There are so many options in Elden Ring - it's such an interesting game.
Firstly, I am wearing the Astrologer set of armor. Even though I have gone through the trouble of obtaining the Spell Blade set by completing the Rogier quests, other than being lighter than astrologer set I didn't see too many benefits.
Then, I made sure that I had an equal balance of health and mana potions. Normally i would have a lot more mana potions than health, but for this particular boss fight you would need to replenish your health a lot as it is a very long fight, and you don't use a lot of mana at all especially in the first stage (the boss consists of 2 stages).
I upgraded my Wolf Spirit Ash to +5. This is because in order to win against the boss in stage 2, you have to have wolves the whole way who will distract them. If your wolf spirits are weak and die straight away, you have no chance of staying alive in the fight.
I put bleed on my main weapon, which meant that I needed a different sword to the glintstone sword I talked about in my previous video, because the glintstone sword could not be customised by another Ash of War. I ended up using the "Miséricorde" dagger. I also upgraded it to plus 6.
Last but not least, I had a wonderous flask that replenishes HP slowly and negates damage. This saved me from dying at the end as I had totally run out of HP flasks. Because during stage 2 of the boss fight, you can hang back while the boss is busy with the wolves, you have time for HP to slowly replenish.
To actually take down the boss in stage 2, make sure you have the meteorite staff and rock sling spell. This is because even though the boss is resistant to magic damage, the rock sling spell deals physical damage. I was quite surprised how much the rock sling damaged the boss in stage 2 as it didn't appear to do much in stage 1. But trust me the rock sling will finish her off for you.
Hope you enjoyed watching the very close fight!
So it turns out that I have to kill this huge boss called "Root Monster" before the bloodstain before I touch it. Unfortunately this boss is incredibly hard to kill - you cannot summon anyone to help you, the area is super confined so you get cornered easily with nowhere to run, and the boss is huge while dealing insane damage.
So the only way to kill the root monster is basically by going to a high ground where he can't touch you and shoot things down at him. In this video you will see how to do that as well. Once you have defeated him, touching the bloodstain and then going back to Rogier will get you the next dialogue option.
After I chose Bat girl, I wondered how I would switch to another character. There didn't seem to be a place / option to change characters in your bat computer, and running around the Belfry I couldn't find anything either. I then discovered that after you complete a few starting missions, a location with all four character's costumes in the Belfry will allow you to switch characters.
So far it seems pretty cool that all four characters use unique weapons (both melee and range are unique), different fighting styles, have different interactions with the story and enemy characters (e.g. Harley Quinn) so I'm pretty impressed with how thought out the story line is and how much effort they put in. Would you consider buying this game? For me the capped frame rate is the only downside (but you won't feel it in the recordings because it seems like the recordings are 60FPS).
So it turns out you have got to look at where the blue line coming from the security cameras. You can see when you press down our all the blue lines point to somewhere on the left, so that is where you need to go. There is a shortcut to get there without going through any of the policemen, so that's the route I took in the video.
I'm really enjoying the story of this game - none of the bad guys (e.g. Freeze, Penguin) take us seriously because we're not Batman. I'm sure you've come across similar situations in your life where people don't take you seriously because you're not someone.. On another note, strangely I'm discovering that while I experience a slower frame rate when I'm playing the game, the video recording actually comes out at 60fps.. So it looks super smooth for you! Enjoy the video!
Since I've already tried playing a warrior and hero, I thought I'd try a spell caster class this time to experience something different. I can see my previous characters are still there but I chose to start brand new as I have pretty much forgotten how to play anyway.
This time I used a lot of guides to help me play rather than just figuring things out myself. I got my Meteorite Staff and the Rock Sling spell, which allows me to do an insane amount of damage and pretty much one or two shot kill most monsters. I have some trouble with bosses but standing far away with the rock sling spell means that I still kill them in relatively few tries.
Now back to the main point of the video - I was following a guide which wanted me to get the Lazuli Glintstone Sword. I was very excited about the sword from what I read and spent about 3 hours getting it. However, the sword that I got eventually wasn't that great, but what I did notice was that I was 20 levels higher by the time I got it.
The reason is because in order to get this sword, I had to kill the same thing over and over again until they dropped it. The monsters I had to kill were quite easy to kill and they gave insanely high amounts of runes. So by the time I got the sword, my level was in my thirties, when I started on about level 10.
Enjoy the video! The video was recorded using the Xbox Series X on the highest possible setting (4K HDR 60FPS)
Nowdays though, there is a reason. It seems like I can get the disc version cheaper than the downloaded version - in fact, about $20AUD cheaper - so I bought the game on disc instead of downloading it from the Microsoft store. I also had a JB Hi-fi voucher to use so I thought why not.
The graphics is really cool on this game - you start off with an awesome Batman vs Ra's al Ghul intro movie that takes like 15 - 20 minutes. I really enjoyed the fight and also enjoy the story. The game play was quite similar to Assassin's Creed which I've been playing, so it is a familiar feel.
I was pretty impressed with the game but I do have to say the frame rate is a little slow - it doesn't feel as smooth as Assassin's Creed Odyssey but I guess the better graphics slightly makes up for it. Would you buy this game? One downside to buying physical discs, which I was reminded of today, was that you can't take out the disc and play it - you have to put in the disc.
Unfortunately I forgot to change the phone camera to 4K 60fps before I took the videos. So this is definitely not the best quality that Pixel 7 is capable of doing. Another thing that I didn't do is I didn't zoom in when I was filming, because my hands had to be absolutely still otherwise the kangaroos would run away. The zooming was done later on through Premiere Pro.
Hope you enjoy the video!
As you can see from the video, I have not finished all the main storyline quests yet, but I can actually start playing the DLC straight away. According to wikipedia you can start the DLC as soon as you've finished Episode 7 and are at least level 29. 3 new combat abilities were added - I particularly love the "Fury of the Bloodline" warrior ability as you deal 6 attacks at 150% Warrior damage and get 4 Adrenaline points back, as well as the "Rapid Fire" Hunter ability which allows you to basically use your bow as a machine gun (you will shoot successive arrows that quickly).
In terms of the story, a new questline comes up where you just have to go to the dock at Macedonia to start it. You will meet Darius and his son Natakas, which according to many becomes your future husband but I am not up to that. You basically fight alongside Darius who is some sort of legendary assassin against the "Order of the Ancients". You can see how I play in this video as I basically complete quests for the majority of the time. Enjoy the video!
As you probably know, bear is the largest animal with the most health, so it will be very hard for the enemy to kill if you know how to look after it. Which is why I recommend bears as pets. However, doesn't matter how strong the pet is, you never know when your last battle is with it, so look after and cherish it for as long as you can.
Back to how to tame it. You need to be a level 3 in the beast master ability, because in level 1 and 2 you can only tame other less powerful animals such as boars and wolves. This means your level will be relatively high as it's not easy to get to level 3 in an ability. You'll also need to be able to craft paralysing arrows so make sure you learn that ability.
At this particular bear den, there are some other bears which are not elites. You can tell by the symbol above their character, the one with the crown is the alpha / elite animal. Once you get their health down to just below half, it's better to play safe and start shooting paralysing arrows, otherwise you may end up killing them accidentally.
Watch the video to see how I successfully tame one! Hope you enjoy the video and see you next time :)
At the start of the video we are in a dangerous area in front of the enemy castle. Once you're in this castle with your pet and you get discovered, your pet is pretty much going to get ambushed straight away. It's very hard to save your pet because even if you confront the enemies who are attacking your pet, somehow they focus on your pet even if you're right next to them.
If you try to run, you can see that your pet stays behind and fights, which seems quite stupid. It took me a while to figure out how to get my pet out safely. Watch the video to find out!
If you consider how much effort they put in modelling ancient greece, the characters, the story, how big the map is, how many quests and side quests there are, the combat system, so on and so forth. There's just so much in the game and it simply should not be free.
Secondly, the $50 AUD comes with Assassin's Creed 3 remastered, two DLCs (Legacy of the First Blade and The Fate of Atlantis), various other perks, as well as being able to keep this game forever. Essentially I'm paying the $50 for Assassin's Creed 3 and the two DLCs, which are not part of the Xbox Game Pass.
Also, you never know how long a game will stay on the game pass - every month there are games leaving. By paying the $50 you are guaranteed to have Odyssey forever, as well as all the DLCs and Assassin's Creed 3. I have heard really good things about Assassin's Creed 3, so I'm wanting to give it a go too, and the remastered version should have pretty decent graphics.
In summary, it is about $160 dollars worth of games for $50. So yes, that's why I paid $50 for it :) Do you think I made the right call?
It turned out that Pankration was the sport that Kassandra was asked to participate in. I looked up on Google and Pankration was actually introduced into the Greek Olympic Games in 648 BC, so it makes sense! Learning a bit of history while playing this game for sure. This sport was very similar to MMA, as you were allowed to use a mixture of boxing and wrestling techniques.
During the event I noticed that all of my equipment and swords was taken away, so I had to use just my fist and dodge. Interesting I was still allowed to parry (with my fists) so with some good timing it was quite easy to win. You can see at the end of the video Kassandra was crowned Olympic champion.
Sometime during completing the game, I discovered that you can get a second ability wheel by pressing LB+Down arrow. This shocked me as it made combat so easy. How did I get this ability wheel? I found out it was from upgrading my spear, which I start the game with.
So how do you upgrade your spear? Firstly you need to collect enough "fragments" which you gain from defeating cultists. Once you have enough fragments, you can take them to a special futuristic area where you can use the fragments to upgrade your spear. All explained in the video!
Link to game: play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.supercell.brawlstars&hl=en_AU&gl=US
So how do you own a ship? All you have to do is follow the main line quest, and when it comes time to leave the island you grew up on, you will get a free large ship with heaps of crew already. Once you have a ship, if a mercenary comes after you, you can simply finish him off with a kick (not a sword), and when he is lying on the ground you can choose the recruit function.
In the video I show you the whole process and I also show you in the end that he is definitely recruited as you can see the recruited mercenary on your ship!
In this video we will do a bit of a summary as well as a show and tell of how to complete quests. Starting from where to get a new quest, to how to track quests, how to find where the tracked quest is on the map, and how to track an area on the map so you can reach that area quicker.
Basically, watch this video if anything about questing is confusing you in this game.
In this video we're going to explain how to make that message disappear so you can finish your mission without that message showing up the whole way until you finish your quest!
Another cool thing about Land-io is that not only can you play with people in the same voice channel as you, if you want you can also join a Public game, so people in your channel can VS people in other channels that might not even be on your discord server. This is cool because even if you don't have friends to play with, you can simply just start the game in a voice channel and then join a public server to play.
So about the actual strategies. In this game, the objective is to create an enclosure with your snake-like character, so that the space enclosed becomes your land. The more land you have at the end of the game, the higher your rank is. When you are running around trying to take more land, you need to be careful that nobody runs into the path you're creating, because then you get cut off and lose all your land to that person.
So the strategy is simply 2 things: 1. Don't get cut off and 2. Cut other people off. To avoid getting cut off, you have to basically be super aware of your surroundings and as soon as you see someone within your vincinity, play conservative and barely leave your land. While you are on your land, you are immue from being cut off at the tail. This will also help with cutting other people off, because if they try to steal your land, you have a huge advantage as you are invincible while you're on your land, so just stay on your land as much as possible if there are people around, and try to cut them off.
Hope this video helps with introducing you to the game and help you to start winning!
The car right now costs $67908 driveaway in Queensland, which is about $20,000 more than my BYD Atto 3 car which I have ordered. I guess this is a good experience for me see what a car that costs 40% more than my car looks like, so I know what to expect when I get my car. The car advertises a 551km range where as the Atto 3 is also 420km, so I expect the battery to last a lot longer in this car too.
The car looks super flash, the ride was very comfortable and smooth there was very little noise compared to a traditional petrol car. The only thing that has some noise is the aircon, which is a big change from listening to the loud engine noise.
There is a very big display screen in the middle of the car. I found it is really useful for reverse parking as you can see exactly how close the car is to the surrounding obstacles. I can also see that the GPS navigation map is actually appearing right behind the wheel so the driver can see without having to tilt their head, which is really cool.
After arriving at the King George Square carpark in the middle of Brisbane, not only can we park the car for $5 for 4 hours on a Saturday, the car can also get charged for free if there are any charging spots remaining. We charged the car from 11:26am to 12:18pm, and the percentage went up from 62% to 75%. (240km to 290km). So it charges at basically 1 minute for 1km, which is really good.
So yes, if you have the money, I have no hesitation in buying this car - except because I like to save money, I will still wait for my BYD Atto 3. Hope you enjoyed this video and I'll see you next time :)
The following video is filmed by my dad. Because I am in the back row, so he filmed from the side, and it actually looks pretty good. I did not forget any moves from beginning to end, and I did better than usual. The only thing I didn't do too well is I didn't smile a lot, only because I was concentrating on trying to remember the steps.
It's been 3 months since I returned to serious zouk lessons. You can see that I'm still mainly doing beginner moves such Passo Basico, Lateral, Prep Lunge, boomerang, reverse boomerang and so on. I did do a ragdoll which we learned properly in class recently so I'm still not doing it perfectly yet. I also threw in a few moves from the international zouk day routine such as a kombre and a body roll.
Are any of my viewers regular partner dancers? If so which types of dance do you do? Feel free to leave a comment and talk dancing to me! As you can see in the video, the style of dance I'm doing is Zouk. I really like the RnB style of music. Other than swing dancing this is definitely my favourite.
Now, if you get challenged, you'll have to beat the opponent to another spot on the map. It's quite hard to beat them because you have no idea where this spot is going to be, and if you're heading in the wrong direction to start off then your only chance to win is to hope that they run into some obstacle on the way there.
Now let's answer the question - how do you get into the same game with friends? You want to be able to see your friend in the same game because then you know who is better. In this case, I joined the same game with Monchdachonch and he nearly challenged me by accident because he didn't know it was me, haha.
Enjoy the video!
Basically now I can play multiplayer in this game and I have invited my gaming buddies Monchdachonch as well as PlasteredOwl who is joining us for the first time. This is a really fun game to play multiplayer with - it is similar to rocket league, but since it is golf, you don't need to rely on your team mates as much. If you have good skill, you should win.
In the video you will see how I invite people to play the game. Keeping in mind that I am playing on my PC and my friends are on Xbox, but we can still play and chat like normal, which is really cool. There is a strong emphasis in this game on aiming the shot. There is no use in driving fast if you can't hit the ball properly, because you'll have to go back to get the ball if you drive past it.
A cool feature is that if you do a flip in the air, it will recharge your boost. You should be finding ways to boost your car from start to finish, once you get good at the game. Don't try to do this if you can't aim where you want the ball to go yet. In fact, it is better to slow down, drive your car to a suitable position, then go towards the ball. This will get you a better placing to start off.
Enjoy this awesome game!
There are many reasons. Number 1, I'm buying it as a gift for my mother, who doesn't require the latest phone to play games or take photos or make videos. She is mainly using it for work (e.g. email, teams, phone calls, texting etc) and she has been using a Galaxy S10e with battery issues. Please note I'm not saying all Galaxy S10e have battery issues - this particular one however, the battery runs out very quickly.
The A32 on the other hand has a much higher battery capacity, so the battery lasts much much longer. Mum has reported back saying that she used to charge her S10e phone every day but now with the Galaxy A32 she only has to charge it once every 3 days (note: she is not a heavy phone user).
Another reason is because A32 suddenly dropped in price by over 50% across Australia. I will discuss the rest of the details in the video - but we basically bought it for a very, very cheap price.
The way to do this is basically to convert the points into gift cards. You can see that I only have enough points for a $5 gift card. That is one reason why I stopped doing quests - I found that the time that I spent to accrue the points is probably worth more than the actual dollar value I received from the points. But still, if you make points from playing games, you might as well do it anyway because it's relaxing and enjoyable :)
I ended up using the points towards Elden Ring. It was pretty expensive when I bought it so $5 didn't help too much. I did spend a fair amount of time in the game so it was worth it. What did you buy with your points?
That's exactly what happened to me. I imported a screen cast video into Premiere Pro, and then when I'm playing the video inside Premiere Pro for editing, half of the frames are greyed out and glitching as I play the video. You can see it in the first couple of minutes of this video for what it looks like.
The way to fix this, however, is quite simple. I just had to export it first in Premiere Pro using certain settings, then re-import the previously exported video, and it worked. What is the reason for this? It could be that the export process re-encodes the video better into a format that the in-program video player can better process, so it doesn't get glitched out. Hope this helps!
I then saw another player building a hut (I assume to protect themselves from me). However, because I have the nimbus cloud, I can use it to fly up in the air, and then shoot down with the Kamehameha, again eliminating the enemy.
I transformed into Supersayin (simply by using an emote) and then again used the nimbus to fly behind someone. It is much easier to go around an enemy with the nimbus as you're in the air and travelling much faster than on the ground. Then I eliminated them from behind, which is again very hard to guard against.
Enjoy the video and see some rare sightings of me playing well at this game!

I hadn't danced Zouk for a while so initially I wasn't too sure about my ability to actually do this routine. But after 2 training sessions I think I am picking it up. We have a one hour per week training for six weeks and then it's the big day performing in front of a huge crowd in the middle of Brisbane. You can see compared to the first video, we have added quite a few new moves.
I guess what I find difficult is towards the end the footwork is quite complex. I couldn't match it up with the music very well so I'm just stepping without worrying too much about it. I also find it quite hard to turn the follower under my elbow because I have been dealing with a shoulder injury for a while. Either way, you probably wouldn't have noticed if I didn't point it out :) Enjoy the video!
I'm quite lucky that one of the rock climbers I know is also a dancer, so we can practice together. Daya is always keen to practice dance as well as climb. She is a great dancer as well as rock climber so I hope to be able to video her climb one day as well, maybe she will be glad to appear on this channel as a climber too.
The moves in this video have Portuguese names. This is the list of moves which appear in the video in order of appearance. I led all the moves without telling daya beforehand, so this is completely lead and follow and not choreographed.
Passo Basico (Basic Step)
Lateral
Prep Lunge
Neck Wrap
Simple Turn
Elástico (Half Rag Doll)
J Turn
Boomerang
Reverse Boomerang
Viradinha (turning while doing basic step)
After immigrating to Australia, I lived next to a tennis court, so I played with my neighbours everyday. I also played throughout university and won two tennis trophies for the pennat reserve grade fixtures run by the Brisbane Hardcourt Tennis Association.
Now, my dad (66 years of age) casually walks on the court, wearing jeans and a long sleeve check shirt, completely destroyed me 6-2. Why is he this good? A long time ago my grandpa managed a tennis club so my dad started when he was very young. He had a chance to play professional, but he chose to focus on studying and became one of the first MBAs in Taiwan.
Even though I can't beat my dad, I can still beat most people I play with, thanks to playing him since I was young. Enjoy the video!

However, I saw something on Epic Games which changed my mind. You can play as Goku in Fortnite now? Also fly around in with the cloud (Flying Nimbus) and fire the Kamehameha (fireball thing)? That is just too cool not to try.
However, as I got into the game, I noticed that I still have my old stormtrooper skin. In order to use the Goku skin, you need to go to the shop to buy it with Vbucks. Since I have 0 vbucks, I had to buy vbucks using real money ($30 AUD) to buy the dragon ball pack, which includes Goku and Beerus. If you want Vegeta you would have to spend more money.
Considering that Epic games gives people free games every week, I think spending $30 AUD to support them is more than justified. You want them to continue existing so we can get more free games! Speaking of which, I am about to get Doom 64 this week for free :)
Enjoy the video!

There are many things I can never beat my dad in. It was Chinese chess, then tennis, and then table tennis. I discovered I couldn't beat him at a very young age. I used to get a bit frustrated and thought that if I kept practising, then one day I can beat him after a few years. I kept thinking that the whole way throughout my teenage years, my twenties, and then my thirties.
Now that I'm in my late thirties and my dad is in his mid 60s, he can still convincingly beat me, in all three things. My way of thinking, however, unlike my skill, has matured. I now celebrate the fact that he can beat me. I am proud that he is able to still be this good after this whole time. I'm not stupid and I'm pretty athletic, but he is just at another level. I'm proud of him just like he may be proud of me sometimes.
Enjoy the match!!
#tabletennis #pingpong
I started playing since quite young. I mainly played tennis growing up and I've only had a ping pong table at home for a few years in my life, so I'm not very good, but I guess I can beat most people who don't play.
My mum played even less, and you can see she's very unfamiliar with the bat. She is also a bit older now so she can't see the ball very well. She's had surgery on her eyes before, plus the ping pong ball moves way too quickly. It was also getting dark.
Taking all of this into consideration, however, you can see she still managed to hit a few rallies. If you have any tips for her, feel free to comment here, I'll make sure she gets the message. You can see her smiling after a few rallies, so I'm sure she secretly enjoys the game!
In Brisbane we have 6 practice sessions of 1 hr and 15 mins each before we have to perform a flash mob in Queen Street right in the middle of the city. My friend Daya and I decided to sign up together and apart from attending the group practice sessions, we decided to practice on our own as well so we don't fall behind.
We are actually practicing in a yoga room inside our local climbing gym, which has a lot of space and is nice and quiet. Very lucky that nobody else is using it! Hope you enjoy the video.
Superman's grabbing special attack while he is in the air doesn't work very well against Finn either. When he is flying towards me to grab me, I simply press Forward + special which will not only avoid his attack but knock him back. So superman basically has nothing he can do against me, while I am standard attacking him and taking coins.
After collecting coins, spending them on items (speed boost, projectile armour), it's now just a matter of continuing to beat on superman until he runs out of chances to stay in the game each time I land a knock out attack. You can see throughout the whole match Superman hasn't knocked me out once. Enjoy the video!
So here is the strategy. With Finn, I'm going to be focussing on staying at ground level and using my basic attack to extract coins out of enemies and deal a huge amount of damage. Once they drop some coin, I'm going to use it to buy the speed and shield items, which will power up both me and my team mate (superman). This means both of us will be moving around the map super quick and be shielded from projectiles when we're charging.
As I use my basic attacks with Finn dealing a huge amount of damage, superman's job will be to fly around in the air, pick up anyone I launch from the ground up and throw them even further off the map. You can see in this video that Monch does this really well. We both choose the triple jump perk so both of us can jump 3 times and not fall off the map. Watch us dominate!
My friends then said for me to leave the group and try the game on my own. I tried to start a multiplayer match myself but it still said the same thing - Waiting for QOS results. My friends however were able to play with each other. So it was obviously my problem.
Since then I've tried restarting my Xbox, changing region settings, mucking around with my router settings, changing my internet from Fibre to 4G, so on and so forth. Nothing worked except this.. Which is not really a fix, but it is the only way I can play multiplayer right now.
