Guess what's back eh? Yep. We're back. Street Fighter VI is back and today marks the day that the year 2 DLC is here.

Thanks to CAPCOM, I got my hands on the Year 2 pass and up first is the leader of Shadaloo himself... or is he really? Well either way this is M. Bison.

According to his story, it seems that this Bison isn't who he seems. He looks like him, acts like him but something feels very off. I don't know the reason but I will say this. He is still just as dangerous. Even without knowing who he is, Bison is still a dangerous force to be reckoned with. He still is. If you know his moves, you know that's him. Hopefully this will mean that the story is far from done.

Next we meet, we're playing with the hungry wolf, Terry Bogard.

Post Game | Finale - Whacka's Revenge

We've covered everything that we've done thus far in this playthrough & post game. There's just one thing left... Whacka.

Now before you even get a chance to face off against him. You need to do a plethora of requirements. Let's list them down.

Step 1: You need to complete the Pit of 100 Trials.
Step 2: Head to Keelhaul Key and hit Whacka with your hammer.
Step 3: Repeat this 7 more times. If you already hit him back in chapter 5, you only need to do it 6 times.
Step 4: Wait 30 minutes of in-game time and then return to Rogueport.

If you follow all these steps, you'll receive an e-mail stating that something has arrived at the Pit of 100 Trials. At the very bottom, no less. There's an easy way to get three. Speak to the Mover before entering and spend 300 coins. This will let you start at the 51st floor. Then find any and all movers so that you can reach the bottom flooor.

At the bottom, you'll find a Whacka. Not just any Whacka but the same one you whacked. Now he wants a fight.

Whacka is the second super boss added for this remake. He has 108 HP and an attack of 10. What makes him annoying is his various attacks. He uses Whacka Bumps to attack you so you will need to time your Superguards to completely avoid the damage. Also you need to limit your attacks to one hit each. Because every hit you deliver to Whacka gives him another attack. This is important. My advice, have an ally that can deliver a one-hit shot. That's all you'll need. Vivian can work as her Feint ability can help you avoid his attacks. If a Red bump is dropped, you MUST Superguard it. That deals 30 damage. I forgot to mention that he can use Whacka Bumps to heal himself. He'll heal 25 HP (or 75 if it's Red).

This fight will require a lot of timing. A lot of patience and a lot of luck. I did a bit better than most others but hey, how you go about it is up to you. Beating Whacka will net you a Gold Whacka Bump. You can't eat it sadly. Of course you can rematch him to get more Whacka Bumps.

The Pit of 100 Trials is done. But is it really the end? No.

Under normal circumstances, this is where it ends. But not here. Because this is a remake of the 2004 Gamecube version, our work is NOT done.

We return to the Glitz Pit. It's here you can face off in an Exhibition Match. If you remember, Prince Mush offers to challenge us to a match. Let's grant his request.

It's Champion vs. Champion. We have the third champion, The Great Gonzales taking on the very first champion, Prince Mush. It's going to be a hell of a fight.

Prince Mush has 96 HP & an attack and defense of 6. In order to even deal damage, you need to break his stance. When the fight begins, he will switch between two stances. His side stance lets him dodge jump attacks and his hop stance dodges ground attacks. After you attack, he will respond with a powerful strike. You MUST use Superguard. If you do so, his stance is broken and his defense drops to 0. That's when you can unleash your strongest attacks. You'll need your strongest for this.

As his health drops, he starts to power up by charging his attack power. It can happen multiple times. Not to mention once his health goes below himself, that's when hell starts coming in. He'll power up so much that his attacks will HURT. He can do a five hit combo that can really screw you or your partner over. Using a Superguard stops that so if you do that, then bring in the pain. Also if you fail to Superguard, he'll enter a stance where he'll use illusions and can't be harmed. You need an AOE attack to rid the copies.

My advice for you is to plan accordingly if you want to win & especially time your Superguards. They are a lifesaver. Once Prince Mush falls, the fight's over. You've become the true champion and afterwards Prince Mush will give you his belt as a sign of friendship. If you're wondering, I took him on twice. First time I use my own techniques to win and the second is where I use no Special Moves. Just pure attacks.

Berserk Boy
Playthrough | Finale: The Final Showdown Awaits

It comes to this but you're wondering what's going on right? Well allow me to explain.

Thanks to someone on Twitter, I found out that in order to get the true ending, you need to find 50 Berserk Medals in all 15 stages. Once you at least hit 50, you'll get access to a restricted area where a special core can be found. Once you get that, return back to Dizzy who then reveals the location of Genos. This is where the true final battle begins.

This level is basically a boss rush where you face off against every boss in the game. Your skills will be tested but if you're like me, this is no issue. At the end you face off against Genos. This is a 2-phase fight. The first fight isn't difficult. It's the second fight that will test you. Genos uses a power that strips Kei of the Berserk Orbs he collected, infusing them into his body. It's then we learn that there was another Berserk Orb.

We learn that there was a seventh orb, the Life Orb. It was used to revitalize Fiore, who once died. Turns out Genos explains that without the Berserk Orbs, humanity had stagnated in their war against the Dark Energy. He needs the Life Orb to fulfill his mission. But Fiore has plans of his own. He offers Kei to fuse with the Life Orb, gaining a brand new form. Think of this as a Super Sonic like form.

For the second fight, you need to watch out for Genos' attacks. Not only that but you can deflect his missiles back at him. It can be a tough fight but not impossible. You just need to watch out for Genos' attacks. Afterwards, Genos is defeated and the two fall onto the ground below. Genos is impressed by Kei who was able to defeat him. Not once but twice. Kei wants Genos to surrender but he
refuses and departs.

Kei collapses but is then hit awake thanks to Dr. Quinn. Kei also reunites with Dizzie as the world is saved. Thus ends Berserk Boy.

Berserk Boy is a really fun game. A challenging one at that if you want to get the true ending. But it's also more challenging if you want to tackle the EX levels. They will push you to your limits.

NOTE: Due to the overall length, at roughly 2 hours, this is split into two parts. This ain't like the original GC version that's for sure.

And here's the conclusion of the Pit of 100 Trials. As you progress further down, things start getting very tough. You will be dealing with foes that are exclusive to the Pit of 100 Trials. You may need to rely on some very unorthodox tactics in order for you to survive the bottom flowers especially the 90th floors. Sometimes you will find two Amazee Dayzees. Taking them down will net you a buttload of experience. Enough for a level up. If I were you, I make sure I do that you hear?

At the bottom, you will face off against Bonetail. Bonetail is the older sister of Hooktail and Gloomtail. And she is very old. She has 200 HP, an attack of 8 and a defense of 2. Unlike in the GC version where you can use Power Bounce to deal a multitude of damage, you'll have to rely on other means. Of course if you're like me, you will have a plethora of tactics that can assure you can deal the most amount of damage. Don't take my word for it you know. Watch my original run then this and you'll get the idea.

With Bonetail defeated, we complete the Pit of 100 Trials and obtain the Return Postage badge. Are we done? Nope. Something to note that if you spend 300 coins, a Mover can warp you down to floor 50 saving you a LOT of time. I recommend you take the time to prepare.

Under normal circumstances, this is where my run ends. But it isn't. No way. Part 6 is where we face off with the first of two fights, exclusive to this version. It's Champion vs. Champion.

Berserk Boy
Playthrough | Part 6: Stop the Mad Doctor Genos

With the power of all six Berserk Orbs, the time has come to face off against Genos.

Genos' lab is filled with many tricks and traps but in the end, they aren't much. You just need to survive. But if you're thinking this is the end of the game, you thought wrong. It's not over.

Apparently I found out that to get to the True Ending, you need to collect 50 Badges. Finding them is needed to access the true final area of the game. Luckily I took the time to finding them offscreen and if you're wondering, trying to find them requires you to rescue the resistance members. If you rescue all of them in a stage, you access the EX version. It's basically time trials.

Part 7 is the finale where we stop Genos once and for all.

Back when I did the Gamecube version, this was to be the final episode of the post game playthrough. But this is the 2024 remake. There's more that you need to do.

In the meantime this is the Pit of 100 Trials. Basically this is the post-game dungeon where you must trek through 100 floors. Each floor gets more difficult as you progress but every 10 floors, you will get a nifty item. At Floor 50, you get the Strange Sack which will let you hold 5 more items. Honestly they should have doubled it to 30. If they did that, it would have made the game even more easier.

But hey, this is only the first part of this. Part 5 is where we will finish things and reach the bottom.

Berserk Boy
Playthrough | Part 5: Strike the Earth from Above

We obtain the power of the Soaring Wind. Now it's time to find the last orb.

But before we do we got to take care of Dr. Genos' aerial forces. This also introduces us a new section. Yep. We got a flying shooter section similar to Gradius. Not that I have anything wrong with it but it does add some variety to a very interesting game. And yeah, Soaring Wind is just busted. It really is. It makes much of this game very trivial especially in the earlier stages.

As for the boss, he's no pushover. He will whack you so you will need to go all in on the offensive and use Soaring Wind's abilities to reflect his projectiles. Trust me, it'll help. We do get the Earth Berserk Orb but now we must take the fight to Genos himself.

That's happening in Part 6. No, the finale isn't until Part 7.

The cold foe has been dealt with. Now we face our next foe who wields the power of the wind itself.

Of course trying to reach this became a pain in the butt. I had a lot of trial and error especially when your skills will be tested. It's nuts. The battle against Soaring Wind was a bigger pain that you need to time your attacks without getting whacked. I had 3 game overs cause of that. Fortunately once I beat it, that's all I need. Hopefully I'll get better that's a fact.

Part 5 has us heading to the skies to find the last berserk orb.

If you are wondering, I'll take care of the remaining Star Pieces off screen. I'm only missing one anyway so there's no big deal here. So anyway, it's time for us to continue with the Trouble Center.

There are still more people that we need to help and that's exactly what I plan to do. Oh and we actually took down an Amazee Dayzee. These guys are like the Audinos except more dangerous in terms of their attacks. Taking these guys down will net you so much experience it's not funny. I was lucky to take one down but just wait till we do the Pit of 100 Trials, it's going to get much worse.

At least we get a lot done and meet with Bow. I only wish the other characters from the previous game make appearances. It would have been good.

Part 3 will finish things in the Trouble Center.

Berserk Boy
Playthrough | Part 3: Face Off with A Frigid Cold

We dealt with the Flame Drill. Now we got to head to the Frigid Cold.

We arrive at the Frozen Temple. We face off against new enemies while having to complete specific objectives. It's here we learn about Flame Drill's ability. Flame Drill can go underground to reach new areas. Not to mention on certain platforms, you need to spin like the Tasmanian devil to move it about. Expect to do this a lot. Sadly it has no lock on but it does have a multi-hit claw attack.

As for the boss, she is fast and relies on ice attacks. Don't be afraid to bring the shock or the burn to do it. Believe me. It may take a while but she isn't an impossible foe. Once she's beaten, you get the Ice Berserk Orb.

Part 4 has us heading to seek out the Soaring Wind.

We've beaten the game but our work is NOT done yet. Far from it. Welcome to the Post Game for Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door.

In this part, we focus on finding the remaining Star Pieces. There are 100 in all and finding them all will help you unlock concept art in the art gallery. But if you've found everything by this point then it's no big deal. You need to trade them all in to get your hands on some new badges. That's pretty much it.

If you are wondering, I was able to get what I missed in Creepy Steeple off screen. Meaning I only am missing one Star Piece. It's in Glitzville and it's in Jolene's office. We'll have to take care of that much later, when the Great Gonzales makes his return.

Part 2 will have us going through the Trouble Center and there are plenty to do of course.

We're still continuing our time in New Hope City. And if you're wondering, to fully explore the area and then some, you need to find all five Berserk Orbs. I know. It is one of these kinds of games. But at least the boss isn't that punishing. Even on Retro, with the right timing and all, you should manage you know.

Once we beat Flame Drill, we acquire his Berserk Orb and lets us turn into him. Trust me. He's going to be very useful as we proceed. See you in Part 3.

Now it all comes down to this. Time for us to put an end to it all.

We finally catch up with Grodus who has already opened the casket. Inside is a dark force that envelops Rogueport and every area around it. It turns out to be none other than the Shadow Queen. Grodus offers Peach as a vessel to house her body. She takes it but as Grodus orders her to destroy Mario & the others, she refuses. The Shadow Queen in turn destroys Grodus. She then offers Mario the chance to serve her. WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT SAY YES. That's an instant game over. Say no.

Mario and his gang refuse so they have no choice but to fight. The Shadow Queen is a 2-phase boss fight. She has 150 HP and has a lot of attacks that can deal major damage. Focus on working to get her health down to about half. What follows is her basically taking you down quick. Don't worry. This is scripted. Eventually the Crystal Stars appear, scattering to various areas around the world. It's then that all the people that Mario and their allies encountered offer words of encouragement. This bewilders the Shadow Queen. In turn, Mario and his allies are fully healed. Peach in turn offers up what little energy she has to give Mario the chance to take her down.

Now begins the second phase and the Shadow Queen will not play around. She has 150 HP so focus on your usual tactics: Power Lift then make sure you have one of your allies that can deal AoE attacks. She's also vulnerable to status effects so feel free to use Vivian to give her the burn. Trust me. It'll help. You can't just rely on Power Bounce because the game basically nerfed it by making the fourth jump be 1 frame. So you'll have to rely on using other methods. Thankfully by this point, you have a plethora of strategies that can help guarantee you victory. It's reason enough why this game is so replayable. The possibilities are endless. For me, I make sure to bring in the Vivian so that she be the one to deliver the final blow. Like with Watt in Paper Mario.

With the Shadow Queen defeated, she expels herself from Peach and is then sealed back in the coffin. With the threat finally over, Rogueport and the world is saved. We also find Frankly who has found something. As night falls on Rogueport, Mario along with Peach and Toadsworth gear up to head home. All of Mario's allies say their farewells assuring them that they are always welcome. As the ship arrives, the three head off as Rogueport enters a new dawn... the dawn of a new day.

We also see an epilogue detailing what happened since then and things have gone well. Very well. Is my time with this series over? No way. Not even close. The post game begins now and thankfully there isn't much. At all. See you then.

Berserk Boy
Playthrough | Part 1: A Shocking Awakening

This is a game I promised that I would do and I'm making good on my word right now. A nice change of pace is what we need. Welcome to Berserk Boy.

Berserk Boy centers on an individual named Kei. Kei and Dizzie are outside as she's trying to find any reading about a Berserk Orb. But things go to hell real fast when dark forces start showing up to cause havoc in New Hope City. At the same time, a bird with flames shows up. Kei wants to find his friend but the bird, named Fiore, wants him to get out of there. It's then that we learn the one responsible: Genos. Genos wants to rule the world using the power of dark energy called Shades.

But in order to fight back against them, Kei must tap into the Berserk orb and go Berserk! Yep. This game feels like Mega Man but it's not. Instead you got to rely on moving about, hitting enemies and then delivering a shock. It's not easy but needed if you want to keep your combo count high. Oh and for good measure, you can play this game either in Modern or Retro. Retro is actually much harder to let you know. I'm a sucker for this stuff so that's right up my alley. If you remember, I played Gravity Circuit. This however is interesting and unique.

We only cover the first part and that's only just the first part of Act 1. Part 2 will cover the rest.

Time to continue on.

After defeating Gloomtail, we can now enter the Tower of Shadow. It's here where we have to insert the Star Piece and then find 8 Tower Keys. We use these Tower Keys to open the way further down in the palace. But as we do, there will be many that will try to stop us and stand in our way.

Up first come the Shadow Sirens: Beldam, Marilyn & Doopliss. They aren't hard. Focus on Beldam first then Marilyn and finally Doopliss. For good measure, have Vivian be the ones to take them down since honestly, it's a long time coming. Afterwards you have to explore further into the Palace of Shadow. Not pretty because by this point, the enemies will get tougher. But you're strong enough to not have to worry about them.

Later on you will have two fights back-to-back. Up first is Sir Grodus, leader of the X-Nauts. He's a deadly foe since he has a plethora of magic attacks that can really hit hard. Also they ignore defense so keep this in mind. Also, Grodus has X-Yux that will protect him so you need to take them out before damaging him.

Afterwards Grodus threatens to kill Peach unless we surrender. Bowser then shows up to push Grodus aside. Literally. We then have to face both Bowser & Kamek. Focus on Kamek first as she'll likely buff Bowser and heal. Afterwards go all in on Bowser. Using Power Lift + multi-hit specials will help a lot. He goes down without much effort.

With Bowser beat, what happened to Peach? Yep. Grodus still has her. We got to go after him. See you in the finale for we finally put an end to things.

Ace Attorney Investigations Collection | Reveal Trailer

I didn't think CAPCOM would announce this but my god, they did. I'm just going to say this as bluntly as possible. I wanted CAPCOM to bring the Ace Attorney Investigations games onto modern consoles, including the second game that never came over. When they revealed this trailer in the Direct, I was just giddy. Absolutely giddy.

For those that don't know, the first game of the Ace Attorney Investigations series sold very poorly. So much so in fact that Capcom didn't bring the sequel over. The reasoning for it was very bs. But it didn't stop fans from working on a fan translation of the game. That was the game I covered (and basically had an involvement in its development) on YouTube. And now more than 10 years later, it's happening. Didn't think it would be sooner.

So this means yes, in September, I will be doing both of these games with commentary. This means my voice will most likely die out but it don't matter. I will get this done. I have to. Enjoy this trailer because my god, my body is ready.

Post Game | Part 2: A Platinum Restoration (Finale)

And now we reach the conclusion.

To even get the Platinum Trophy, you got to complete various challenges. It's not just trying to crack open all the safes. Many of the stages has you needing to do certain things. Plus one of the trophies require you to complete 10 Master Thief Sprints. Not so hard if you are that skilled. Believe me. Once you got much of these done, get to the last safe, open it and boom, you get your Platinum.

Here's my final thoughts on this. Sly 1 still holds up but I recommend playing it on the PS5. One advantage is the rewind where if you make a mistake, rewind. That's all there is. The PS4 version is 10% faster which can throw you off at times but it's worth it all the same. For $10, why not.

Let's hope that we get Sly 2: Band of Thieves. Thanks for watching.

Post Game | Part 1: Trophies & Sprints

We've beaten the game but our work is NOT finished. Remember what I said? I'm going to get my hands on that Platinum trophy for Sly Cooper & The Thievious Raccoonus.

Unlike the PS3 version, this version's trophy list is a little more challenging. In addition to finding all the vaults and unlocking them, you also need to do a plethora of challenges to get trophies. One of which is the Master Thief Sprint challenges. They require you to complete the level from start to finish by a certain time. There are 20 in all & you need 10 to get the trophy.

Not only that but you need to do certain things in specific levels. Some examples include: complete The Fire Down Below without grabbing any hooks or eliminate guards in a stage without getting detected. There's also one challenge where you need to do a risky shortcut without landing in the water. If you know what that is, you know. The video will show you what that is.

But yeah, that's what I mostly do in this part and believe me, it's needed. Part 2 will conclude the post game where we not only restore the Thievious Raccoonus but also get the Platinum too.

Still on the Moon in the X-Naut Fortress, Mario and his friends ultimately reach where the last Crystal Star is.

But guess who's waiting for us: Crump. Crump's not happy he's being reduced to guarding a fortress like this. So he decides to take it out on us with the Magnus von Grapple 2.0. The boss fight isn't a hard fight if you follow the proper strategy. Power Lift to ensure you have +4 attack/defense and then use your strongest attacks. That's the gist of it. Having Multibounce can deal with the drill arms as they can hurt. With the right tactic, Crump falls and blasts off again. We get the last Crystal Star and the last special Supernova. But we're not done yet. We reach sublevel four and meet with TEC. TEC wants us to save Peach and uses the last of his power to get us out of the X-Naut Fortress. He then tells Peach “thank you”. Man this game makes you feel for an AI.

But what about Bowser? Well it seems he's at Poshley Heights. He found a Crystal Star only to find out that it's a fake. He then gets word that Mario has all the Crystal Stars and is heading for the Thousand-Year Door. That's where we're heading.

We return to Fahr Outpost and after convincing the Conductor, we're all set to head for the Moon.

Upon arriving, we find new enemies along with a base up ahead. Yep. Upon arriving, turns out it's home to the X-Naut Fortress. You're going to have your work cut out for you when dealing with the X-Nauts. You will have to move about and find four keycards as well as two elevator cards in order to fully explore the fortress. But one area is off limits until the end so keep this in mind. At least you'll have the opportunity to level yourself up. Plus the music for it absolutely slaps honestly.

Part 24 will finish Chapter 7 and will give us the last Crystal Star.

Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy

We're continuing on with more of Ace Attorney Theater. This time it centers on Apollo Justice Asinine Attorney. Unlike the previous one, this is actually pretty good.

Not only that but we get Klavier Gavin as prosecutor which we haven't seen since AA4. In my opinion, I only hope he returns for AA7, if it ever comes to it. Not only that but we get cameos with Athena, Jinxie, Trucy and Edgeworth. Honestly it's a nice change of pace and out of the two, this one is the best one.

Fitting that this ends with Apollo Justice at the helm. I have no issue with it honestly since it's a fitting yet fun way to end Ace Attorney Theater. With this, my time with the Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy.

I had a lot of fun doing this. To everyone who came to watch these, you have my sincerest thanks. Truly. If I ever do decide to return to Ace Attorney, you guys will be the first to know.

Now if only CAPCOM brought the Ace Attorney Theater onto the HD Ace Attorney Trilogy. Seriously.

Playthrough | Part 5: Fire in the Sky

Our next stop takes us to China. What for? The fourth member of the Fiendish Five, the Panda King. And if you are wondering, yes, we do see him again much later. If you saw my playthroughs, then you know.

Panda King was born poor but was fascinated with fireworks. He spent a decade learning the craft but when he went to show the noblemen, he was dismissed due to his status. So he chooses to use his pyrotechnic skills to seek revenge on those who shunned him. He joined The Fiendish Five as the team's demolitions expert. He hopes to show off some new technique. It's up to Sly and his gang to find out what's up.

Unlike the previous parts, this was annoying to find everything. And yes I did have a hard time with it for the most part. Like in Sunset Snake Eyes, there were two Murray segments and a Carmelita chase segment. But if you're wondering, I left one of the safes unopened. Why? Because Bentley states that this safe is in owl dialect. You need to beat the game to get access to the final safe. I'll save it for the post game.

As for the boss fight, Panda King is not hard. We beat him and get his section of the Thievius Raccoonus. Is it the end? Nope. Turns out we have one more place to go: the Krakov volcano in Russia.

Six crystal stars have been obtained. Now it's time we find the seventh one. It turns out its in the one place you never expect it: the Moon.

To even get there, we need to open the way to Fahr Outpost. There are new enemies abound and they all are Ice-based. Having Fire Drive would really be a benefit. Upon arriving at Fahr Outpost, it seems the mayor of the town doesn't know about a way to get to the Moon. But it was Bobbery that remind these Bob-ombs what's more important. So now we're on a quest to not only get permission to use the Fahr Outpost Cannon but also the Conductor as well. Getting permission is easy. Finding the Conductor is a bit more difficult. We do end up traveling the world only for us to return to Fahr Outpost.

Part 23 is where we finally head for the Moon and find much more than what we bargain for.

Welcome to Ace Attorney Theater where things here happen very differently compared to the main game. And if you are wondering, this is commentated. Besides, I want to do this because at least you get to see me do what I can. Of course watch as I try my damndest. Up first is Phoenix Wright and he's in Khura'in. What for? To try to stop a hostage situation from getting out of control. Not a pretty thing.

Playthrough | Part 4: Vicious Voodoo

We're at the halfway point now. Things are going to get quite icky. We now head for Haiti & with it, Vicious Voodoo. The third big bad is Mz. Ruby. Her backstory is tragic and yet using the powers of the undead to get revenge is just wrong. It just is.

It's also here we put the Raccoon Rail Walk & Rail Slide to work especially in levels where you really need to explore and find everything. This gave me a lot of trouble and it's obvious for a platformer this stuff happens. Once you get the blueprints for it, you can be able to find everything and get it done. It's going to be a doozy especially when you need to platinum the game.

As for Mz. Ruby, it's Voodoo Simon Says. At least on the PS5 version, there are no issues. The PS4 version, let's just say that things are not in sync and I hope it can be fixed. Yes. I had to rewind just to go through it. Normally this wouldn't happen but if you die, you got to go through it all again. Annoying. At least we take her down and recover her section of the book.

Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door (Switch)
Playthrough | Part 21 - Chapter 6: 3 Days of Excess 3/3

After we were able to open the way, our ride in the Excess Express continues. Unfortunately, we now have to deal with a Smorg infestation. We got to head to the back of the train.

Along the way, we do rescue some of the crew but everyone else is still captured by the Smorg. And after we have to push our way through the Smorg, the infestation assumes a monstrous form. So we got to face it. The Smorg has 50 HP but it's three tentacles has 4HP. Having Multibounce on it can take them down faster. Once the tentacles are down, the core is exposed. Use Power Lift to boost your attack and defense then let it have it. Moves like Stampede are going to help out very much. Make sure to deal as much damage as possible so you can take it down. Once it goes, that's it.

Everyone is saved and we reach Poshley Heights. We enter the Sanctum to find Beldam and her group take the Crystal Star and depart. But it turns out that it's a fake. The real Crystal Star is somewhere within the Sanctum. So we got to do a bit of puzzle solving. Once we do that we get our hands on the sixth Crystal Star & the move Showstopper. They return to Rogueport.

Meanwhile, Peach meets with TEC once more who realizes that Peach needs to get out of there. He also reveals that she's on the moon. But before she's able to leave, Grodus appears. Peach is able to work on the message as Grodus' goons shut the computer down. The message is sent and Peach gets taken away. As for Bowser, he's still on the move only to end up meeting Rawk Hawk. It goes as you expect.

At Rogueport, we use the Spring Jump to get the Ultra Hammer. Heading back to the Door, it turns out the Map reveals where the last one is at... on the moon! Peach was right. We return to Professor Frankly but it seems he's trying to figure out a way. Fortunately, we use that time to get what we miss and we get a lot.

It's then Goombella tells us that we should return to Frankly. We're doing that in Part 22, starting Chapter 7.

One member of the Fiendish Five has fallen. Now it's time to move onto the second: Muggshot. The muscle of the Fiendish Five. What he lacked in brains made up for in brawn.

It's here where we're introduced to several mini-games. First off are the Murray segments. Sometimes you need to use a turret to protect Murray from enemies as he travels to get a key and other times you have to use the van to race to win a key. There's also the Carmelita segment where you have to move about while dodging Carmelita's shock pistol shots. Not hard if you know what you're doing.

Overall this adds a bit of variety to the game but if you know what you're doing, you'll be fine. Of course the boss fight with Muggshot isn't difficult. Your timing with jumps is important. Once he goes down, we get his portion of the book which gives us access to the Raccoon Rail Walk & Rail Slide.

Part 4 has us heading to Haiti for some Vicious Voodoo.

Time we hunt down the Fiendish Five, one by one. Up first is Sir Raleigh the Frog. We get his backstory and why he became part of the organization. A rich snob who got bored of his lifestyle turned to piracy to fill his desires. He joins the Fiendish Five as chief machinist.

Heading into the perilous Welsh triangle, Sly and his gang travel through there to seek his share of the Thievius Raccoonus. Because this is Sly 1, there are a few things you need to know. This is one of these games where if you get hit once, you die. The only way to be able to withstand more hits is by getting a lucky charm and you get that by collecting 100 coins. You can get two Charms max and any afterwards will give you extra lives. Thankfully the sequel changes that by giving you a health bar.

But anyway, your objective is to go to each stage and get your hands on treasure keys. There are seven in all. Not only that but you need to find all the clue bottles in order to unlock the vault. Unlocking the vault gives you a reward. Most cases it's a power-up that helps Sly and other times you get your hands on blueprints that will help you find any bottles you miss. Yes, you will have to look through every nook and cranny in order for you to find all the bottles. It's a lot of work but not impossible either. At the end you will face off against a boss and your skills will be tested. Raleigh isn't hard. You just need to learn the timing to do it.

With Sir Raleigh, we recover his section of the book and this will give us access to the Ninja Spire Jump. Our next stop is Mesa City. We're heading there in Part 3.
