Solo Taniks in Monument of Triumph but Extremely Unethical Risoryx 2026-08-12 | The basic idea is that swapping loadouts this quickly essentially overloads the game with equipment and weapon-state changes faster than it can properly update everything. It isn't about limiting or slowing down the game, and there isn't any third-party software modifying Destiny, injecting anything, or changing damage values. You're forcing the game to process its own loadout system extremely quickly, which can cause weapon states to get mixed together. In this case, Duality's pellets can effectively inherit behavior from Lorentz, resulting in an absolutely ridiculous amount of damage. It can also create a weird state where the weapon isn't necessarily considered fully "yours" by the game in the normal sense, which is important for getting damage onto enemies that would otherwise require a specific buff or condition.The important distinction is that everything is still being accomplished through Destiny's own loadout and equipment systems. Nothing is being injected into the game or directly modifying how the weapons work. You're essentially overwhelming Destiny's own state-management with extremely fast swaps and taking advantage of the resulting state before everything catches back up. This type of tech isn't completely unprecedented either; similar loadout/state-manipulation tech has been used in high-level challenge runs, including tech NAPainter used for Solo Epoptes, and this general type of technique has been allowed by the speedrun panel.The more loadout swaps you do, the more time you have to shoot duality. I saw I was running out of time midway and I started doing 3 loadout swaps because it lets you shoot quicker but is also more risky.I've heard this took people a lot of hours to do because of the shots registering having some rng to it but I luckily managed to clear in about 30-40 minutes. Solo FLAWLESS Vault of Glass (Renegades) Risoryx 2026-06-03 | You think you’re the most calm and collected person until you pull Mars on a flawless run.I did not expect to be doing another solo flawless raid and definitely not this soon but here we are lol (I still have 0 flawless dungeons)Shoutout to all my awesome friends (Kristian, Xeno, Ambi, Smiley, Jynxed, Aestus) who were in vc for a lot of my runs and without whom I probably would have given up a long time ago.I was actually supposed to run for Duo Flawless with Toccata in December of last year but she ended up quitting the game (sadge) and to be frank I gave up on the idea of ever getting the duo flawless tag on this raid.But then killshot happened and suddenly gatekeeper went from being one of the hardest solo encounters in the game to probably being one of the more easier encounters in this raid which says a lot. Took me around 2 hours to clear Gatekeeper with zero prior knowledge of how to solo it and then it was onto Atheon. Atheon sucked to learn and it took me about 10 hours over a couple days to clear it for the first time but after that, it turned out to be a super consistent encounter not accounting for Mars RNG (just not on flawless attempts as it would turn out).My first full took me about 2 hrs and I did another one afterwards and then started doing flaw attempts. Overall I got about 20 solo clears before I got flawless.Thought I would do a little breakdown of each encounter:Confluxes: Pretty standard, easy encounter.Oracles: Nothing to be said here, I already had a lot of reps doing solo oracles in 6 mans and trios/duos so I had this down pat.Templar: I had not killed templar solo before I sat down to do this challenge but I got the strat down pretty quickly and with infinite cleanse it's pretty hard to mess this one up. I did not attempt doing challenge in flaw runs since I had no prior experience doing it.Gatekeeper: I cleared this quickly initially but I lost quite a few flaw runs to not understanding the encounter properly which turned out to be a simple fix after analyzing the wipes and taking measures to prevent that from happening.Atheon: Atheon atheon atheon, where do i start? We got teleport desync, rockets hitting walls and not tracking (this one's on me honestly), grenade regen being slow so most of my Psi aeterna shots didn't have weaken applied, Atheon refusing to die and overall just nerves. Solo FLAWLESS Root of Nightmares in 47 Minutes (Ash and Iron) Risoryx 2026-06-03 | An explicator wipe and a couple power outages later.This was quite the journey. Going from wondering if I could even solo cataclysm to flawlessing the entire raid by myself in under 15 hours of playtime.Huge shoutout to my very good friends Toccata and Sys. Wouldn't have done this without you guys and thank you for being there to answer all my questions (even the really stupid ones without being condescending).I thought I would do a little breakdown of how each encounter went for me when I was learning.Cataclysm - I had basically little to no experience running Root of Nightmares in general and so I wasn't even used to running in a normal 6 man team. Thanks again to Toccata for taking me under her wing and teaching me the gist of the whole encounter and then how to solo it. I got this done within 45 minutes.Scission - By far the most boring encounter of this solo. Got it 2nd try (got to 3rd floor on 1st try and got bullied and eviscerated by a barrier champion before I could even finish saying "he knows who I am, obviously targeting me smh".Explicator - Now this is where me not playing anything outside of raids came back to bite me.I did not possess anything optimal when it came to damage for this encounter. Also didn't even have a shoot to loot scout either. So had to wait for Banshee and spent 200 cores rolling Stoccato s only for him to sell the very roll I needed the next day 😔. Also didn't have a decent mint roll until Zavala came in clutch and sold a tier 4 mint (rewind rounds + bait and switch).In addition I didn't own auger s either and tried various other options that Sys helped me come up with and those didn't do too hot either.The grenade stat increasing turret damage update was huge and made it easily clearable and getting Finality's Auger (thanks once again Sys!) made it even more so. I would even go as far to say that this was much easier of an encounter than Cataclysm.Nezarec - Simple encounter that took me about 30 mins to learn and damage was a non issue with my build which made this and Explicator my two most consistent encounters (I don't really count scission as an encounter).Clearing the whole raid solo in one sitting took me only an 1 hour and 18 minutes and I got my flawless not much longer after.Granted, I am not really proud of this run being the run I got flawless because my movement and aim aren't usually this mediocre and I feel this run doesn't leave a good impression of me in the eyes of the viewer lol.If you've never attempted a solo raid before, this is the best time to do so. Solo Atheon (Renegades) Risoryx 2026-04-07 | Yeah screw this encounter.Finisher felt like rng, relic dropping behind me felt like rng, even damage felt like rng with me leaving Atheon at what practically felt like less than 1 hp even with my rotation seemingly better than what some people had cleared with.This clear in itself was not even the cleanest oracles nor dps and Atheon went immune and somehow still died but I will happily take the clear. Flawless seems to be quite the journey from here.Shoutout to all my awesome friends (especially Lil Kristian) for being in vc when I was running this and helping me not lose my sanity. We had a little inside tournament where we were trying to see if my friends could trio flaw gos before I cleared and they won but I cleared not much later. Solo Witness w/o Shinies (Renegades) Risoryx 2026-02-03 | I hate subjugator movement.Witness has gone from being one of the harder solo challenges in the game to something that I would recommend someone new to solos to try.Also one of my favourite lowmans.I would say it took me around 2.5 hours to clear. Really should have cleared an hour earlier but I ended up panicking on my first final stand and then choked again in the next attempt which was yet another final stand.Was really late to finishing the Renegades campaign so I had neither a shiny handcannon nor a shiny sniper. Probably could have 2 phased if I had those?
