Fun and short precision level. It all comes down to the last jump where you have to fall in between the two spikes. These spike gaps are really unforgiving in MM2. I died at least 10 times there...
8-3 Puzzle Castle (1P Only) [XQR-4CY-4NG]
Big metroidvania like level where you have to go back to various parts multiple times getting and bringing different items. Looking at it in the level viewer I found cheese which skipped using the ON/OFF switch and getting a fire flower by just killing the plants you were supposed to kill with the flower with the drybones shell instead.
The Lost "10 coin" coins [NY1-JJS-NXG]
Just like the last level it is also a big level built with a maze like structure. However once I figured out the route with the level viewer it wasn't really hard.
The 4-Coin Mansion [68J-0R0-MGF]
Guess what, another maze level. I actually find it quite interesting to look at these types of levels in the level viewer and route them. In this one I was able to cheese one red coin by shelljumping up to it. Everything else felt intended to me.

They have created some Excel Sheets which contain the oldest uncleared levels that still exist in Mario Maker 2. Searching for some challenging levels I could try I came across these two:
"Ryu's Ghost Tower - Chaos Theory" (56H-477-X1G) [clear rate 1/1789]
A pretty chaotic level with constantly changing on/off switches. However at least the level creator gives you Yoshi and also a shellmet at the beginning which makes it a lot easier as you can stand on spikes. When I reached the checkpoint I was so happy to finally make it there that I didn't bother that I lost Yoshi. Luckily the part after that was not that long anymore, however now since I didn't have Yoshi anymore it still took me quite some more attempts to finally finish it. After I figured out the Yoshi + Shellmet strat I'd say it took me about an hour to finish it.
"★ Up And Down ↑↓ Insane Mode" (RVW-8TT-YXG) [clear rate 1/4788]
Took me way longer than the first level. None of the sections in this level are very difficult on their own, however the level is over 4 minutes long so you have to stay focused quite some time. Luckily I first-tried everything from the point on where you get the last 10-coin. I'm not exactly sure how long it took me to clear the level as I split up the grind over several days / weeks and I don't have any combined timer or anything running, but I'd say it was still less than 10 hours. However it was probably the longest I've ever grinded a single level.

While for most challenges I sadly had to use Yoshi one bit of hope is that a lot of times it is only one jump that is impossible for normal characters. So if there will ever be some advanced tech for gaining extra height a lot of these might actually become viable.

I used a new video editor for the first time today and as it turns out, I still have to get used to it. I actually thought I deleted every video part after my voice recording was over, because I initially recorded more gameplay as I wasn't sure how long I would talk, but it seems like I either forgot something, or the editor didn't recognize the end and exported too much video length. And I didn't want to reexport it again with fixed length, as the original export already took multiple hours...
Also please excuse, if there are weird cuts or anything throughout the video. I'm also still getting used to the cutting with the new editor. I hope the video is still interesting to watch.

Recently Carl played a troll level by a creator named Tutajkk which I really liked for its simple, yet effective trolls. So I looked what other levels that maker created and found a series of cool puzzle levels.
The idea behind all of them is that the level that looks normal when you first play it, but has actually a clever puzzle hidden inside of it. Here are four of these levels, but he has a lot more.
