Pairing Attempt: When you try to pair AirPods with a PS5 via Bluetooth, the PS5 will recognize the AirPods as a device, but it typically won't connect to them properly. This is because the PS5's Bluetooth profile is optimized for connecting to controllers and certain audio devices, often specific gaming headsets.
Limited Functionality: Even if the PS5 recognizes the AirPods and allows pairing, you may encounter limited functionality. For example, the microphone on the AirPods might not work, or the audio quality may not be optimal.
Alternative Solutions: To get audio from your PS5 to your AirPods, you would generally need to use a Bluetooth transmitter that connects to the PS5's audio output and then pairs with your AirPods. This setup can allow you to transmit game audio to your AirPods wirelessly.
Considerations: Using third-party Bluetooth transmitters may introduce slight delays in audio, which can impact gaming performance, especially for fast-paced games.
