This is a store tour of the famous and beloved Northridge, CA location. This store is located at 8425 Reseda Boulevard and opened in September of 1981, making it 4th oldest location in California and the 7th oldest location in the company as a whole. They opened with a balcony stage and later converted to a C-Stage. In 1993 they received the phase 3 remodel with the 2-stage, and since then, the location has remained almost completely unchanged. This location’s claim to fame was being the most outdated Chuck E. Cheese’s restaurant, with them still having had the record posters, showroom signage, showroom shelves, showroom walls, balcony seating, checkered tiling, and a number of retro posters and artifacts throughout the restaurant. Their 2-stage was also in excellent condition, with all the characters in working order and Chuck E. retaining his “Cool Chuck” outfit (minus the cap). As of the night of July 23rd, the Northridge location has began the 2.0 remodel, which will change the location in many ways. They will be receiving a new video wall, dance floor, artwork, paint job, and exterior signage. It is a shame that the pure essence of phase 3 will be gone forever, but Northridge will live on through videos and memories made there.

Filmed on 6/27/21Chuck E. Cheese’s Visalia, CA Store TourCEC California2023-04-03 | This is a store tour of the Chuck E. Cheese’s location in Visalia, CA. Located at 4345 W Noble Ave, this store opened on 5/2/1983 as a Showbiz Pizza Place. This store is pretty famous for being the last location in California (and one of the last locations overall) to have the 3-Stage show setup. Despite this, the show has been in a state of disrepair for years and the animatronics barely move. They have phase 4 but are rumored to receive the 2.0 remodel very soon, so if you want to see the last 3-Stage in California, you should do it as soon as possible.
(P.S. sorry if this tour seems a little all over the place, I haven’t filmed a tour in a long time and there was a lot of people there so it made it a little harder to film in a linear path.)

This was the final song performed by the Studio C animatronic at the Elk Grove, CA location. Starting today (September 19th) CEC has implemented a new show system that is not compatible with Studio C stages and they will no longer receive signals. This means that there will be no more lights and no more programming for the animatronic. When a song plays in future show tapes, the animatronic will remain in random mode, rather than interacting and singing along. I decided to not dub in audio just to capture the pure essence of the performance before he never opens his mouth again. Rest In Peace Studio C (1997-2022).

Filmed on 7/23/22Chuck E. Cheese Fairfield, CA Store Tour (Grand Reopening/2.0)CEC California2022-07-24 | Today we have a store tour of the recently reopened Fairfield, CA store! Originally this store opened in 1983 as a franchised Chuck E. Cheese’s Pizza Time Theatre with a Balcony stage. Around the late 80’s they received a C-Stage, and in the 90’s they got a 2-Stage. From what I’ve heard, the stage used to be on the right side of the restaurant in the area where most of the little kid games are and it goes back a little bit. In 1997 they moved the stage to the left side of the building, to the right of the kitchen, and the SkyTubes were put in the former showroom area (those were removed from this location in the early 2010’s). The stage was in disrepair for years and Fairfield was notorious for having one of the worst-conditioned Cyberamic stages in the company.
Back in winter 2020, rumors started circulating that Fairfield was going to close assumingely due to leasing or franchising issues. Unfortunately, they closed for good on 1/5/21, leaving only 2 other franchised locations in California, being Redding and San Jose. They shortly thereafter opened as “GameX Pizza & Arcade” which was a family entertainment center that was practically the same thing that it already was, just without the Chuck E. Cheese branding or animatronics. They reused all the same games, took down all Chuck E. Cheese artwork, and replaced the animatronics for a projector screen. GameX didn’t last long though as you could tell.
On 7/21/22, Chuck E. Cheese finally made his official reappearance in Fairfield and they had their grand opening (they had a soft-reopening on 7/12/22 prior). The store is now a company-owned 2.0 store with a dance floor and a large screen that plays the show. They have mostly new games, with a few old ones from before, and pretty much the same layout. Unfortunately there were a few issues since it was their first weekend officially open such as games not working properly and slow food service, but I’m sure with time they’ll be on top of everything. I actually ran into my old manager from Sacramento at the Fairfield store who was helping out with the stores grand reopening, and I had a chat with her about everything, so that was cool. Anyways, its great to have Fairfield back and if you’re ever in the area, you should stop on by.
Filmed on 7/23/22Chuck E. Cheese Fairfield, CA Remodel/Reopening ProgressCEC California2022-06-30 | Here is a look at the remodel/reopening progress of the Fairfield Chuck E. Cheese. Around the end of 2020, they permanently closed due to franchising issues I believe as this was one of three franchised stores in California. They reopened as an arcade called "GameX Pizza & Arcade" but clearly that did not last a while. They have began (and are almost completely done) re-opening as a remodeled 2.0 store. Unfortunately they no longer will have animatronics but it's cool that they are reopening as CEC nonetheless. I may come back when they officially reopen.

Cheeses Garden Grove, CA (Summer 2021)CEC California2022-06-27 | Today we have a UCAP of the 2-Stage in Garden Grove, CA from my trip in June 2021. These are PTT bots and some of them retain old PTT movements and masks (looking at you Pasqually). Also this stage was heavily decorated for the Summer of Fun promotion last year (which they are also doing this year although I don't know if this store decorated again) with the characters having leis on and other outfits and decorations. The stage isn't in totally the best condition but it's still pretty decent and it has very nice cosmetics.
Filmed on 6/27/21Chuck E. Cheeses Garden Grove, CA Store Tour (Summer 2021)CEC California2022-06-23 | Even though I am pretty much a completely inactive member of the Chuck E. Cheese community at this point, I will attempt to honor my word and upload my unreleased summer 2021 videos throughout the summer of 2022.
Today we have a store tour of the beautiful Garden Grove, CA location. Located on the same street Disneyland is off of, at 13101 Harbor Blvd, this store is approximately just 2 miles away from the much larger, animatronic infested rat house. This store opened up sometime in 1981 as "Chuck E. Cheese's Pizza Time Theatre" which was the same year as another Garden Grove location, however that one closed in 1984. Originally they had a Balcony Stage until 1989 when they replaced it with a C-Stage. The C-Stage lasted until 1993 when it was replaced with the 2-Stage, which is the stage that is currently still there.
For store design, they are phase 4 with some phase 3 posters like usual. They have a unique layout with extremely high ceilings. There were a ton of decorations for the Summer of Fun promotion that they did last year (which they are doing again this year), which included beach balls hanging from the ceiling, other hanging decorations, leis and costumes for the animatronics, decorations for the stage props, and a banner that spanned across the whole left side of the store. I also decided to throw in a clip that I filmed of the backstage/party room that is normally not accessible to guests but they left it open so I got a quick video of that.
The background music for this video is from segments 3 and 10 from “Harmony Howlette’s Wild West Show”, which I assume played here when this store first opened or at least not long after. Credit to Matt The Franchise on the audio for those. Overall this is an incredible store with a great stage and a nice feel. If you're ever on a trip to Disneyland, you might as well come here too because it's quite literally down the street from the park.

This is a pretty cool and unique stage.
Filmed on 6/26/21Chuck E. Cheeses Huntington Beach, CA Store TourCEC California2021-07-01 | This is a store tour of the very historic Huntington Beach, CA location. This store is located on 15511 Edwards Street and is very notable for many things. Currently, this is the oldest operating location in the company, opening up on 10/6/1979, also being the only location still open from the 70's. They were the first location to open up in Southern California and 5th overall in the company.
When they first opened up as a Pizza Time Theatre, they had a portrait show with cyberamic figures. In the cabaret lounge, they had the very rare cabaret Helen Henny, the first location to feature her. Later on they converted to a C-Stage, skipping the Balcony Stage all-together, and after that they received a 2-Stage, which they still have although the bots are in somewhat of disrepair. The bots that are on stage are the same ones featured on the Portrait Show nearly 42 years ago. Safe to say these are the oldest cyberamics still in store, possibly the oldest surviving ones in the world.
In terms of store design, they have phase 4, but kept a few phase 3 items per usual for most locations. They have a unique layout with a very distinct early-PTT feel. I chose some PTT songs from the 70's for the background music to go along with the video, including a song performed by the cabaret Helen. Overall this is a really cool store with a interesting history and it's definitely worth visiting if you're in the Orange County area.
Filmed on 6/26/21Chuck E. Cheeses Cerritos, CA Store TourCEC California2021-06-22 | Today I filmed my first store tour of a Southern California location, Cerritos, CA! Located on 11231 183rd Street, the Cerritos, CA store opened its doors on 9/25/2002. They house a Studio C Beta 32M. On the inside, they are completely Phase 3, with the 1999, or Studio C, artwork throughout. However, they have a Phase 5 exterior. This change was made when the whole shopping center got a renovation in 2015.
This was actually my 2nd time going to this location, the last time I went was August 2019 but I didn't film anything, and unfortunately today I didn't film any songs since I came here on a whim. However, this guy named Danny filmed Show 3 here for Concept Cheese Entertainment to upload on their channel! The videos will be coming out in late July to early August. I'll leave links to Danny's instagram and the CCE channel down below.
Also one last thing I want to say is thank you guys so much for 3000 subscribers! This is another huge milestone and I'm so happy we hit it. I'll be doing a 3000 subscriber Q&A video soon so stay tuned for the Q&A announcement where you guys can ask all the questions you want and I'll try my best to answer all of them in a video!

This particular store opened on 11/15/2006 with a Studio C Beta which they still have. They have pretty much the basic Studio C layout and Phase 4. Their Studio C Beta is quite unique and they have the Rockstar shirt and Avenger shorts on their bot which was unfortunately not on at the time of filming. Overall this store is pretty decent so if you want to check it out go for it.
