After the arrival of the new electric engines, Basil worries his time on Sodor may be numbered, especially after snooty newcomer Oscar tells him that there’s “no place” for him there. However, when an accident causes a power outage to hit the branch line while Oscar is pulling the opening train, Basil goes out into the dark night to rescue him…but can he make it home without getting lost?

It's done! After 3 years of production, the Basil saga is finally completed. Basil has truely grown leaps and bounds from when he was first initialzed and I am so so happy with the result. This wouldn't have been possible without the help of James, Chase and Griffin of the Wye Pictures Team. Their dedication and support to me and the project has lifted it from being a footnote at the bottom of a page to now a four part saga.

And a big thanks to the incredible cast and crew. Seby with his amazing musical skills and knowledge! Spag, Becel, Tines and Randa joining the cast as the Electrics! SeaSwine and Spo0derGlen as everyone's favourite power crew sisters! And of course the ensamble cast for brining the characters to life with their endless talent.

And of course, YOU! The viewer! Thank you so much for your love and support of Basil. You keep me motivated and inspired to created content that I not only enjoy, but you enjoy also!

The Peel Godred Branch isn't the only new development on Sodor. But we'll just have to wait and see...

"In the old days of Sodor, Sir Topham Hatt’s prized Glynn the “Coffee Pot”’s role on the new North Western Railway is on the line due to his constant disruptive mechanical failures. The “Coffee Pot” worries about his future, but his fortune may change when he is forced to fill in for Henry at the last minute…but is it for the better?"

We're finally here. 80 years since the first Railway Series book was published! I'm so grateful to be able to be around to witness how far the series has come and all the friends I've made along the way. While many fan videos are dedicated to specifically the books and The Railway Engines, I wanted to touch upon the CGI era's devotion to the Awdry material, thus I turned my attention to Glynn. This has been such a fun story to work with and I've tried a lot of new filming and visual techniques with this video and I hope to use them again in future content!

I want to give a big thank you to Chase for his incredible writing talents once again. This is an adaption of one of his older stories, before Christmas Coffeepot was announced, so it had a very different ending.

PapaMainland nailed it with the Topham performance. He really managed to get the right tone and pitch when it came to the more serious parts of the story. Great work, Mr Pap, love you :)

Tired of the railway showing her up, Casey devises a plan to prove Basil is incapable of being in charge of the work.

Welcome back to another instalment of the Basil saga, where today we pick up a week or two later after the events of Dial E and where we find out what Casey's plan is!

This episode has been in the works for a very long time, but thankfully not as along as Dial E. A lot of work went into this one, with assets, sets, character designs and more! Casey Picks a Fight has to be one of my most favourite stories I've written in a long time and I hope you all enjoy!

The Missing Coach (Restored-US)

MarvellousMainland 2025-02-16 | Work on the railway has become harder, so the Fat Controller orders a new goods engine from Scotland. However, two identical twin engines arrive instead. When the Fat Controller learns about this, he goes to meet the engines, named Donald and Douglas, and discovers they have lost their numbers. The Fat Controller has numbers painted on their tenders and has Duck show them around, but still plans to find out which engine should be sent back.

Here's a blast from the past. For those of you who remember years ago I did an adaption of The Missing Coach which now has very dated visuals and models. I've been so creatively blocked as of late I wanted to do SOMETHING, but simple enough to where I don't have to dedicate weeks to a single video. So when scrolling through the wiki I found the script for the Missing Coach adaption and thought "Huh, let's try it again shall we?"

Work on the railway has become harder, so the Fat Controller orders a new goods engine from Scotland. However, two identical twin engines arrive instead. When the Fat Controller learns about this, he goes to meet the engines, named Donald and Douglas, and discovers they have lost their numbers. The Fat Controller has numbers painted on their tenders and has Duck show them around, but still plans to find out which engine should be sent back.

Woopsies, surprise!

So originally, this was supposed to be a part of another video. But YouTube kept telling me the footage was copyright struck. For the life of me, I couldn't figure out why, until it clicked.
Was my footage SO good, that YouTube thought it was the real thing?
Unfortunately, if I kept this as part of the original video, it would get struck, and I put way more effort into that than I did with this, so this is going to be its own separate upload!

This was really just a way to show off the finer details of Thomas, as well as how well I could edit the video to look like the original, I suppose I succeeded in one way.

Basil is brought to the Electric Railway to continue the construction work that Duck started, but his desperation to get everybody to like him comes back to bite him when the paranoid James interprets his awkward behaviour as proof that Basil has a secret agenda; to make the whole island an electric railway!

Wow. This took a long time. This has been on the back burner for too long. To the unknowing mind, it looks like I've been inactive for over a year, doing filler videos here and there. Mainly, most of my time has been dedicated to Sudrian Stories season finale. Found that I needed a rest from modelling and animating, so I finished off Episode 12. Had a very rough couple of months, and working on Basil again has given me my motivation back.

Thank you all for your patience and positive comments while waiting for the new episode. I never run to a set schedule, as that takes the fun out of the hobby. No clue when episode 13 will come out, but I'd like to aim for fall time. Take care everyone, have a blessed morning/day/evening/night!

When the Reverend of the Arlesburgh Church wants to use the Arlesdale Engines in his nativity performance; Rex, Mike and Bert must learn their roles as the three wise engines or suffer the embarrassment.

Better late than never! After skipping the past couple of Christmas' I finally have my own to share!

This project has been so fun yet so draining, working on it since September! So many assets and locations had to be built in a short time frame.

Once again, many thanks to the Cast. Crew, James and Chase. Chase wrote such a fun story, something you would rarely see in a Thomas episode! And to Scott and Matt too for their amazing performances.

Basil 2 should be underway in the new year, until then...

Late for the Museum | Secrets of the Stolen Crown | Blender Animation

MarvellousMainland 2023-07-20 | Duck is in charge of restoring the Peel Godred Branchline and installing powerlines for the summer season. While all the engines are worried what the new electric railway will bring to the Island, Casey causes trouble for Duck, resulting in Sir Topham Hatt looking for a new engine to take over the project.

IT'S FINALLY DONE! After nearly two years in the works, Tales of Thomas finally returns with a brand new mini series, Basil & the Electric Railway! Ever since working on the Larry saga with James and Chase (Now dubbed Wye Pictures, a lil name for our production group) I've wanted to get back into my series again, with new friends. locations and stories to tell! I seriously can't thank them enough for all their love and support into making this the best it can be. And a big thanks to my team and cast members for their amazing work and performances.
