Having dnd items that you can level up helps them last longer. I also wanted to introduce some of my players to the modularity that's available with different classes, without overwhelming them. Having an item where you can change out abilities on a long rest can be a fun way to get a taste of the modularity, but having limited options keeps it from becoming too much. One of the best things about D&D, or any TTRPG is the freedom to build your own world! Sometimes it can be difficult to know where to begin, how much history to write, and how much to prep. I recently finished reading the Fall of Numenor by JRR Tolkien (actually by his son's editor), and it got me thinking about my own world building, and where to begin. One of the big takeaways was that Tolkien started at the beginning, with the creation myth of his world. And that's where I think you should start writing your dungeons and dragons fifth edition world, the beginning. Starting with a creation myth in your dnd 5e world or pathfinder world can help you lay a strong foundation, that can help you make more logical story decisions throughout your campaign.

I'm sharing three easy tips to fix them! In my opinion, the most important thing is that the players are gaining information from the random encounters in dungeons and dragons. These encounters can be a wasted opportunity to share information about the current area, or other events in the world that may be going on in the background. It's always better if you can give your players information through dnd encounters rather than exposition. It makes for more interesting encounters, and makes each encounter feel unique! We each came up with questions to test our knowledge of each other's favourite dungeons and dragons classes, weapons, and habits. We also dive into traits that we often give our player characters, and I find out what Laurenne really thinks of my DMing style. We also talk about our favourite classes (Ranger, Artificer), where we would vacation on the Sword Coast, and how many sets of dice Laurenne has. It turns out she's a dice goblin! In the end though, it turns out we do know each other on the D&Deepest level! If you want to play the D&D newlywed game with your partner, it's easy! Just come up with a list of questions, get some notepads, and take turns asking them.
Use the BLINK spell to make ATTACKS on the ethereal plane Power Word Spill 2023-03-02 | If you're lower level and your DM sets up an encounter where a monster can escape to the ethereal plane, you can use the Blink spell to make attacks against that monster. The Blink spell in D&D 5e is typically used as a defensive spell, so you can blink out to the ethereal plane and be safe from attacks when it's not your turn. However, using reactions, you can also use it to make attacks. Some Dungeons and Dragons monsters can cast the Etherealness Spell, or have it as a feature so they can easily travel between the material and ethereal plane. If your GM uses this to have them make an escape, and you don't have access to plane shift or higher level spells, you can use Blink to prevent that!
