Sabbatical highlight: Rhonda and I visited the Obama Presidential Center in Chicago — and it felt like experiencing two Americas. 🙌🏾

We stepped through a portal into a time when our country was full of hope. A time when "We the People" felt like a promise we were finally learning to keep. Inside those walls we found love and unity — a rich tapestry of citizens from around the country, every shade and story, looking out for one another like family.

Even the building itself carries the vision: recycled rainwater, sustainable design, a house built with the future in mind.

One America is anxious and divided. The other America showed up in that place — hopeful, diverse, and determined. I know which one we're called to build.

We as a people will get to the promised land. Yes we can. And yes we will. ✊🏾
