The song "MY HATE" and the remix version by Darkness On Demand were released on the Miel Noir album "THE PHOENIX-SWARM" on December 1st 2019 via the labels Aorta (Austria) and FolkWorld (Germany).
Performed by Marcel P. of Miel Noir (vocals, bass) and Nicholas Tesluk of Changes (vocals, guitar). Written by Jackson Browne. Released on his album of the same name in 1986.
This cover was recorded half a year after the release of the collaboration album “Defiance” by Miel Noir & Changes. We wanted to make more music together and we decided that after a full-length album and a bonus EP with original music there was “artistic space” for a cover song.
We turned Jackson Browne’s “Lives in the Balance” into one of our own and the world suffering multiple wars this year makes the choice pretty obvious.
There was a time (up till the 90ies and early 00s) when it was okay to write about the puppet masters, the money-men, the manipulators behind the scenes who pull the strings of war. Nowadays, you’ll get the label “conspiracy theorist” thrown at you by the usual liars.
Jackson Browne had the right words in 1986:
“I want to know who the men in the shadows are I want to hear somebody asking them why They can't be counted on to tell us Who our enemies are But they're never the ones to fight and to die”
Those men are still around. And by framing the investigative journalists, sceptics and truth-seekers as “conspiracy theorists” you are helping them… either as a willing participant or an unwilling, but useful idiot.Hannes (Kategorie C) & Miel Noir : Revolution [neuer Song]Miel Noir2023-10-17 | Hannes: https://kategoriec.de/ https://t.me/kategoriec_support Miel Noir: https://linktr.ee/mielnoir mielnoir.bandcamp.com

English translation:
Too long you’ve taken part in it Acquiesced and stayed silent The spirit of the old folk was weak And loomed to dry up
But now they’ve taken it too far The caste, the elite Citizens’ blood and people’s woe For profits and greed of power
Here comes the…
Revolution Join together and topple their throne Revolution Hear the sound of the awakened nation Revolution Louder it booms, each beat, each tone Revolution Close the ranks and fulfill the mission
Hate and baiting against us Adorned with the rainbow The tolerant hypocritical bunch Lied from the start
Squeezed and yoked too much Was good old Michel (*) Now he sees clear, the red in the green The hammer and the sickle
Revolution Join together and topple their throne Revolution Hear the sound of the awakened nation Revolution Defy their lies, we know them already Revolution The culprits await their well-deserved rewards
Gender-delusion and children’s misery Roam our land They’re purposefully trying to crash the system Full speed against the wall
You’ve been asking yourself for a long time Where this land is headed All they leave behind for us Is fully scorched earth
Revolution Join together and topple their throne Revolution Hear the sound of the awakened nation Revolution Stay together, you’re united by a vision Revolution From faith to will, to deed, to action
No electricity, no gas and above all no money For the old and for the young people Sold down the river by those With a forked tongue
And on top of that we’re on the way to the great war According to the will of the others Who pull the strings around here Who steer and subvert us
Revolution Join together and topple their throne Revolution Hear the sound of the awakened nation Revolution Louder it booms, each beat, each tone Revolution Close the ranks and fulfill the mission Revolution Defy their lies, we know them already Revolution The culprits await their well-deserved rewards Revolution Stay together, you’re united by a vision Revolution From faith to will, to deed, to action
(*) Reference to the figure “Deutscher Michel” which represents the national character of the German people. Could be compared to John Bull, the national personification of the UK.

This song was written and recorded in 2022. It was inspired by the pro-freedom rallies in Germany during the times of the unconstitutional Covid-regime. Originally intended for Hannes and his former duet partner XN, it morphed into a collaboration with Miel Noir. Thanks to Hannes for inviting me to join as a partner among his numerous genre-crossing collaborative efforts! This song is dedicated to those who stood up against neo-communist totalitarianism.

"Macht das alles ohne mich" = Lit.: "Do it all without me" / Fig.: "Do what you want but leave me out of it"
Always heading for the abyss Following the sound of the pipe No brake and no rest No questions, nevermore And the pressure heavily weighs ...
So arbitrarily and indiscriminately Do it all without me Do it all without me
Freely adapted from (or: based on) Orwell, newspeak Do it all without me Do it all without me
All without me
Scouts (or: spies) have spotted me Are eagerly writing the report And it doesn't matter, who lets it through on the nod (or: who rubberstamps it) Tribunal or court of law Standing here, can do no other ... (adapted quote: "Here I stand, I can do no other" by Martin Luther)
Pastoral and solemnly Do it all without me Do it all without me
No cut and no jab (play on words: "hieb- und stichfest = airtight/ironclad"; "Stich" = "jab" both literally regarding weapons and figuratively in the medical sense) Do it all without me Do it all without me
All without me
No voice, no sound Felt it from the start Never trusted any (implied: vote) count Investigate what is hidden and forbidden (historically: "Acht und Bann" = "imperial ban and excommunication") Who could be behind it...
It was voted, with a (implied: questionable) majority But do it all without me Do it all without me
The opposite of libertarian (or: freedom-loving) Do it all without me Do it all without me
I am telling you, emphatically Do it all without me Do it all without me
Let's put an end to this (lit.: "let's draw a line underneath it") Do it all without me Do it all without me
All without me All without me

"Fai quello che vuoi ma lasciami fuori"
Diretti sempre più verso l'abisso Seguendo il suono del pifferaio Nessun freno e nessun riposo Nessuna domanda, mai più E la pressione si fa sempre più pesante...
Così arbitrariamente e indiscriminatamente Fallo, ma senza di me Fallo, ma senza di me
Liberamente adattato da Orwell, neolingua Fallo, ma senza di me Fallo, ma senza di me
Tutto senza di me
Tutto senza di me
Nessuna voce, nessun suono L'ho sentito dall'inizio Non mi sono mai fidato di alcun conteggio. Indagare su ciò che è nascosto e proibito Chi potrebbe esserci dietro...
È stato votato, con una dubbia maggioranza. Ma fallo, ma senza di me Fai tutto senza di me
L'opposto di amante della libertà. Fallo, ma senza di me Fallo, ma senza di me
Te lo dico, enfaticamente Fallo, ma senza di me Fallo, ma senza di me
Mettiamo fine a questo Fallo, ma senza di me Fallo, ma senza di me

Lyrics: "For freedom” to decide for you What to hear and what to say The arbiters of what is true Have led the world astray
“For the climate”; frequent flyers strike What a latte-commie fail None of your beachfront properties Have been put up for sale
They’re not against war, not against hate Just against competition to decide your fate And they’re going on with the same old song Cause they were the liars all along
And they’re going on with the same old song Cause they were the liars all along
“For peace” but not for everyone They’re in love with all their wars Take yours away and keep their gun Bring the fight to our own shores
“For the future” they destroy history Take down what brought us here It’s critical – not theory! See the red, lift the veneer
They’re not against war, not against hate Just against competition to decide your fate And they’re going on with the same old song Cause they were the liars all along
The eternal defenders of democracy Go beyond double-standards and hypocrisy They’ll try to crush the weak and undermine the strong Cause they were the liars all along
And they’re going on with the same old song Cause they were the liars all along
“For the vote” but they won’t let you see The counting that’s so flawed And don’t you dare to question them Not allowed to mention fraud
“For justice” – but not equally It’s second class for you They’re all about the “equity” To hold the scales askew
They’re not against war, not against hate Just against competition to decide your fate And they’re going on with the same old song Cause they were the liars all along
“For the children” – this is what you should Let them teach to those still pure Might as well leave them to Hollywood No pedos there - for sure
“For science” you’ll stay in your homes Wear a mask within your walls But forget those pesky chromosomes And wax that “lady’s“ balls
They’re not against war, not against hate Just against competition to decide your fate And they’re going on with the same old song Cause they were the liars all along
The eternal defenders of democracy Go beyond double-standards and hypocrisy They will never admit that their claims are wrong Cause they were the liars all along
Special thanks to our friends from all over the world who provided clips taking off their masks!
Lyrics:
A dismal, dread, debacle dispersed from the far east, Caused global pandemonium, to unleash a wicked beast. The politics and mayhem the “experts” had in store, Exaggerated the number of victims by the score.
Our country stood for freedom and was once home of the brave, That has now fallen to tyrants who treat us all as slaves. Abolishing our basic rights when forcing us to mask, To hide our personalities and take our character to task.
Automatons, Automatons, they’ve made of us Automatons! Automatons, Automatons, we’ve lost our sense of self!
Are you smiling? Did you frown? Are you angry? Are you down?
Have you passion, Or compassion? I guess I’ll never know, Since this masquerade is endless And we’re all now just lost souls!
That dismal year has mercifully found its way to end! But the despots of the ruling class never seem to want to bend. We need to take back power, no matter what the cost, For if this evil trend continues, our future will be lost.

This track is the third collaboration with our dear friend and honored guest-musician Nicholas Tesluk (known for his influential bands “Changes” and “Phase II”).
Since Nicholas Tesluk founded “Changes” with his cousin Robert N. Taylor in 1996 it’s easy to call these tracks with Miel Noir (founded in 2007) “collaborations across two generations”.
With the recording of “Reclaim your story” however we expanded our range: Our second honored guest-musician Bobby Swit is 90 years of age so this is arguably a “collaboration across three generations”.
The original version of this song was released on the Miel Noir CD “The Phoenix-Swarm”. Said original version (style: melodic Electro Rock, featuring electronic music icon Tommi Stumpff on guitars) can be found here: youtube.com/watch?v=C-jOiQAuX2Q
Lyrics: Verse1: Your story it was taken They took it from you Fed you lies and slander Instead of what was true
Chorus: It’s time to take a stand It’s time to take command It’s now or never to Reclaim your story
When you shed doubt and fear Ignore the lies you hear Rise up, heed the call and You’ll be bound for glory
Verse2: Falsehood, fake and fiction Wool over your eyes Stand up and choose the option To reject their lies
Chorus: It’s time to take a stand It’s time to take command It’s now or never to Reclaim your story
When you shed doubt and fear Ignore the lies you hear Rise up, heed the call and You’ll be bound for glory
(Solo)
Verse3: Breaking through suppression Conditioning and lies Free yourself from shackles And open up your eyes
Chorus: It’s time to take a stand It’s time to take command It’s now or never to Reclaim your story
When you shed doubt and fear Ignore the lies you hear Rise up, heed the call and You’ll be bound for glory
Verse4: Go on claim that story Only you can write Reclaim that which will lead you From the dark into the light
Chorus: Keep what they took from you And you will make it through It’s now or never to Reclaim your story
Wipe out deceit and smear Show past and future clear Rise up, heed the call and You’ll be bound for glory
Keep what they took from you And you will make it through It’s now or never to Reclaim your story

Lyrics:
Verse1: As before it came again Same place, same cause You can’t maintain An order, a system Crooked scheme It popped the bubble of your crazy dream
Contagion creeping through our land You won’t repel, you won’t defend One tiny that your eyes can’t see The other wants you on your knee
Chorus: Tear down the walls Let in the wave Destroy the fence That made us safe
Open the door Come one, come all They brought us down They made us fall
Verse2: Filth of decades rots the minds Whole generations wearing blinds Now wearing muzzles, oh wait, masks Doing what big brother asks
What’s left of freedom is a thought A dream, a wish to cut the knot Pull down the veil and drain the swamp To see what lies behind the pomp
Chorus: Tear down the walls Let in the wave Destroy the fence That made us safe
Open the door Come one, come all They brought us down They made us fall
Break the locks And lift the gate Your death-wish Has sealed our fate
One world for you Nightmare for all You brought us down You made us fall
Verse3: Can’t name the terror that stalks around And most of you all just backed down Don’t rock the boat or stir things up And gulp down more out of that poison cup
You did this, you are to blame Won’t even hang your heads in shame Traitor-scum and liars all You brought us down, you made us fall
Chorus: Tear down the walls Let in the wave Destroy the fence That made us safe
Open the door Come one, come all They brought us down They made us fall
Break the locks And lift the gate Your death-wish Has sealed our fate

This track is the first of a couple of “re-recordings in different styles”. With the help of our dear friend and honored guest-musician Nicholas Tesluk (known for his influential bands “Changes” and “Phase II”) we turned our 2019 song “(In)tolerance” into an acoustic folk tune.
The original version of this song was released on the Miel Noir CD “Fiery Wings” which was part of the limited 2CD edition of the album “The Phoenix-Swarm”. Said original version (style: melodic Gothic Rock, featuring Krys. Koseda of ‘Extreme Chromo’, formerly of ‘Alien Sex Fiend’) can be found here: mielnoir.bandcamp.com/track/in-tolerance
Lyrics:
Verse1: One law for them - one law for you Have them practice what you preach not what you do “Repeat after me – don’t stray from the track Follow the lead or you’ll be hunted by the pack”
Chorus: This is your tolerance Intolerance from you Your renowned tolerance And you still claim it’s true
Verse2: The puppet used to sing – it’s not easy being green These days it’s the norm and the singer’s deemed obscene In front a friendly face – in the back the cabal If not for double standards you would have none at all
Just a couple towers - so much ivory in mind Turning up the nose - looking down on our kind You don’t own your failures – you don’t own your flaws Always for the greater good, for the people, for the cause
Chorus: This is your tolerance Intolerance from you That famed tolerance And you still claim it’s true
I have seen your tolerance Intolerance from you That noted tolerance All twisted and askew
Solo (Verse)
Chorus: This is your tolerance Intolerance from you That high-flown tolerance And you still claim it’s true
I’ve come to know your tolerance Intolerance from you That pompous puffed up tolerance From a lyin’ cheatin’ crew
Verse3: Redefine the words and the past from which we came Silence opposition with the one and only claim You don’t own these words - you don’t own this space Sticks and stones and censorship you are but a disgrace
Just a couple slogans - you’re stuck in a loop It’s not an RPG - you are still a dupe Which saviors you may bring - which heroes in their tow Even if you had the facts my answer would stay no
Chorus: We’ve seen your tolerance Intolerance from you That fake and phony tolerance And you still claim it’s true
Who believes your tolerance? Who still says it’s true? Who believes your tolerance?
